28/10/2025: wonderful views, right in the heart of the harbour, with suitably strong aperol spritz! be warned, if you are budgeting this place may not be for you, but if you can afford it, this is a wonderful way to enjoy portofino!

28/09/2025: This was the worst dining experience I've ever had. It was an unparalleled disgrace. We ordered food, but one of the two orders was forgotten. When we asked, a plastic container of ready-made pasta was put into the microwave. €15 for this is unbelievable. The place should be shut down.
09/09/2025: A terrible mess. To say "price doesn't match the quality" is like saying nothing at all. The pizza was reheated in the microwave, hot on the edges, and served cold inside. The waiters don't speak English very well. When I asked for the pizza to be reheated, the lady got offended.
The ham and pesto toast—the cheese was melted, the ham was cold inside, also tasteless.
"I don't recommend it" is an understatement. It's a money-making machine with no quality whatsoever. It's better to go hungry.

23/10/2025: We weren't that hungry and wanted to share one pizza. However, we only got one large plate and one set of cutlery. According to our bill, that would have been €14 for the pizza and €2 for the cutlery (which leaves a lot to be desired). When we paid with a €20 note, the waiter (see picture) made no attempt to give us our change. Then he came back with €2 and claimed the other €2 was for the service, which made us stunned. The pizza wasn't great either; the crust was absolutely soft. The whole atmosphere of the city was ruined... Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.
23/10/2025: 1.5 stars, an Italian record. For a simple coffee, I didn't think to check the reviews first. If they know you're having coffee, they'll make you leave the table because they only care about those who are eating. In reality, there were many foreign tourists drinking coffee, but they hope you'll have something else. At the bar across the street, they welcomed us at the same price, but at least they were kind. If you don't want coffee served at 11:50, let me know.

20/02/2025: Pranzato all’estero, con una splendida giornata di sole e vista sulla baia di Portofino. Ho preso un ottimo piatto di tagliatelle ( le trenette non le avevano ) al pesto di Portofino. Il servizio veloce, personale cordiale. Alto il prezzo dei piatti che però è in linea con quello degli altri locali di Portofino e viene sicuramente ricompensato dalla location.
15/02/2025: La cuisine est bonne mais les assiettes ne sont pas assez copieuses surtout pour le prix. 45€ pour un plat de pâtes, on s’attend à une qualité et quantité supérieure.

13/10/2024: Völlig überteuert. Essen für diesen Preis und dann nur so auf den Teller geknallt. Gastfreundschaft na ja. Einmal und nie wieder. Zum Schluss noch 5 Euro pro Person (auch Kinder bezahlen) für das Gedeck.Abzocke.

28/05/2025: El bar como el escenario perfecto frente a la entrada del puerto de Portofino. Este no es el lugar más barato, pero el ajuste compensa los precios. Tuvimos una buena selección de bocadillos servidos con un buen vino local, el servicio era excelente
21/03/2025: Ho accompagnato un amico americano a visitare Portofino. Ci siamo fermati casualmente: io non bevo vino ma il mio amico era intrigato dalla location. Mi hanno accontentata anche se sono astemia con un’ottima acqua tonica servita con un piattino a base di culatello, salame, formaggi, focaccia e una vista unica! Molto soddisfatto il mio amico che il giorno dopo è stato a Venezia e non ha trovato nulla di suo gradimento. Si era abituato bene! Molto garbato, gentile e discreto il servizio. Consiglio vivamente.

19/07/2025: Dit restaurant is echt erg!!!
Risotto was baby pap en de Milaneese was niet te eten! Friet ruikt naar oude olie en brood hard en oud.
Voor 4 simpele gerechten moesten we 270€ betalen en 33 € voor de service! Belachelijk!
17/07/2025: Ligger fint til langs strand promenaden. Elendig mat og grisk kelner/hovmester, som ville at vi skulle betale kontant og ikke med kort. Han sa det var bedre for han å få tips ved kontant betaling. Når vi forklarte han at vi kun har kort, ble han sur og ufin. Om vi hadde hatt kontanter så hadde han likevel ikke fått en krone, pga av elendig service og dårlig mat. Styr unna.
