The location is definitely convenient for those traveling along the Via Cassia: easy to reach and convenient for a stopover en route. As for the restaurant, the overall experience was average. The cuisine is simple, authentic, and traditional, with decent dishes but no particular standout features. Portions and prices are reasonable.

If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine, this is the place. The carbonara/pizza was the best I've ever tasted. Kudos to the chef and the entire team for their attention.

Up the Cimina road towards Ronciglione, away from the chaos, is a historic trattoria popular with commuters and truck drivers...but lately, both residents and tourists.

A charming and well-kept restaurant, the food is good and excellent value. The fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and the mushroom soup are worth trying, but the meat is also good, and the portions are generous. The wait staff is friendly and efficient, two qualities that are hard to find together. The waiter who served us, and there were 14 of us celebrating a birthday, absorbed (and fulfilled) all our requests, even the most unlikely ones, with a smile. We'll definitely be back for the empathy, too.

29/11/2025: I just returned from a business trip. The rooms were spacious, the shower comfortable, and in the morning the owner prepared a plentiful breakfast for us, with a kindness that was unique and rare... If I were to stay in Viterbo again, I would definitely go there.
