09/05/2025: We celebrated our wedding, with an authentic civil ceremony, at the La Foresta Restaurant, and we can say with a heart full of joy that it was a dream come true. The ceremony took place in the lawn, under a large centuries-old oak tree, surrounded by chestnut trees, oaks and uncontaminated nature. The reception of the guests was impeccable: a first welcome cocktail in the greenery awaiting the bride and groom, everything taken care of down to the smallest detail. After the ceremony, the grand outdoor buffet amazed everyone with its variety and quality, even celiac or intolerant guests were able to enjoy every delicacy with dishes reserved for them, with attention to detail. Lunch in the Sala Regina lived up to the best expectations: each dish was a perfect balance between refinement and tradition, thanks to the quality of the raw materials and the love for authentic cuisine. We chose tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms (a classic much appreciated by guests), ravioli with Genoese beef, celery extract and drops of parmesan, interlude with a fresh pomegranate drink and for the second course veal in Marsala with ancient mustard, seared cardoncelli and potato chips. The choice of dishes took place at the free Open Day for us future spouses, where we enjoyed not only all the dishes offered at the grand imperial buffet but also the chef's various proposals. Antonella Ferri, the owners together with her brother Gino, was our wedding planner, our silent and present guide: precise, attentive, resolute and always welcoming, empathetic, capable of grasping and accompanying our emotions with a rare sensitivity. A huge thank you to the staff who stood out for their professionalism, hospitality and kindness. All our guests told us they had lived a dream. And we can only confirm that La Foresta is much more than a location: it is a place of the soul, where nature meets excellence and every detail tells a love story. Thank you with all my heart!

18/05/2025: I am very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. First of all, the website is completely out of date: the online menu differs significantly from the paper one that was delivered to my table, causing confusion and an incorrect expectation about the dishes available. In fact, as a regular customer, I went with other friends to take advantage of the no-stop pizza menu, but when we requested it we were told that it was a minimum of 8 people, in reality on the website it says a minimum of 4 people so it put us in a bad mood for the evening and we were not even given a solution since this change had been made only the previous day. From a user experience point of view, this misalignment is unacceptable and denotes a lack of care in the management of digital information, which is also fundamental for the restaurant business today. Furthermore, the waiting times were excessively long and not justified by the complexity of the dishes. This indicates problems in the management of the workflow in the kitchen or in the logistics of the service, with obvious operational inefficiencies. It took 55 minutes to eat a courgette flower. As for the food, the fried food was excessively greasy, a sign of oil that was not well filtered or not changed with the right frequency, compromising quality and digestibility. The pizzas, on the other hand, were very simple in terms of variety, resulting banal and not very well cared for, far from an acceptable gastronomic standard for the price requested. A positive note should be broken regarding the pizza dough and the quality of the product. In short, this restaurant shows serious shortcomings both in digital and organizational management, and in the variety of the product offered. I strongly advise against it until these fundamental aspects are concretely improved.

11/05/2025: I'm one of those places where the excellent food has a family taste. Of those places you can't wait to return to. We took Pici alla gricia with pecorino cream, scallops with lemon and lamb and sausages. A triumph of taste. If you find yourself passing through Rocca di Papa, I advise you to look out. The goodness of this place begins with the welcome.

21/05/2025: Ten of us went to this restaurant, without a reservation - I admit - but we still politely asked if we could sit down. The place was mostly empty, yet they made us wait outside for 45 minutes, without a plausible explanation. An unwelcoming welcome, which already gave us a glimpse of the general tone of the day. Once we were finally seated, the waiter showed up with a clearly grumpy and annoyed attitude. The atmosphere was further ruined when we told him that we would only have a first course, avoiding appetizers, second courses and desserts for economic and time reasons. From that moment on, the service became rushed, almost hostile, as if our presence was a nuisance. The height of it, however, came with the food. The portions of the first courses were ridiculously small, to the point that we had to order more. And here's the surprise: in the second round of courses, the portions were clearly larger than the initial ones. This behavior is simply incorrect and shows a deliberate desire to make us spend more, playing on the small quantity of the first round. As for the quality, we must admit that some dishes were good, even excellent. However, we cannot turn a blind eye to certain lapses in style: a lasagna that tasted like soap (literally) and “baked” potatoes that were actually a puddle of oil with a few floating potato flakes and enough salt to desalinate the ocean. In short: unpleasant service, questionable management of the portions and only partially saved by the quality of the dishes (not all). We will not return and we would not recommend it to anyone. A real shame.

23/03/2025: Oggi siamo tornati perché avevamo voglia di un bel primo che ci deliziasse e come al solito siamo stati esauditi, che dire, i rigatoni all’Amatriciana e le fettuccine porcini e tartufo erano super! Se non fosse bastato bruschette, fagioli e trippa con contorno di friarielli hanno completato ad hoc il pranzo… anche il caffè con le ciambelline offerte hanno dato quel tocco in più 💪🥰 Grazie come sempre ragazzi per la vostra squisita cucina e cortesia! 01/02/2025: Il Ristorante Pizzeria Furnari a Rocca di Papa è un’eccellenza culinaria. La carne è succulenta e cotta alla perfezione, le pizze sottili e croccanti con ingredienti di qualità, mentre i primi di pasta sorprendono per freschezza e sapore. Il tutto in un’atmosfera accogliente e con un servizio attento. Assolutamente da provare!
