12/05/2025: I was a guest at a birthday party, I appreciated the use of unconventional products on the dishes which gave rise to absolutely new flavors at least for me. The owners were very kind and friendly.

11/05/2025: We returned to this restaurant after more than a year, attracted by the wonderful experience we had in the past. Spoiler: nothing is the same anymore. The initial welcome from the director was kind, and we were allowed to taste a very high quality trombolotto, leaving us hopeful. Unfortunately, from the first minutes we were offered a complete starter (2 bruschettas, polenta with anchovies and artichokes) without even having consulted the menu or known the prices, which made us uncomfortable. The way in which it was suggested what to order, in an almost automatic and repetitive way even with other customers, gave us the impression that they simply wanted us to spend as much as possible. The dishes offered were disappointing: 1) 2 bruschettas (untoasted bread with tomato) for 6 euros!!! 2) 2 small pieces of polenta with anchovies for 8 euros!!! 3) a small plate of artichokes for 10 euros!!! All of rather low quality, in our opinion. We then ordered 2 second courses (chicken and rabbit with sour cherries and herbs): the flavor was very similar to an industrial pesto, and the aromatic herbs described in the menu seemed absent. One of the two plates was left almost whole. When picking it up, we also heard unprofessional comments coming from the kitchen. The bill was 70 euros. We didn't order wine, just water. When it was time to pay, we were asked if everything was OK. To avoid arguments, I preferred to answer yes even though I was very disappointed. I write this review with regret, but I think it is correct to share an experience that does not reflect the spirit and quality of a village like Sermoneta. I hope that management can improve, especially in terms of transparency and attention to quality.

12/05/2025: We were there on a Saturday evening, as a family, after visiting the Garden of Ninfa. The experience was chiaroscuro. The place is really beautiful, welcoming and with a splendid garden. We were greeted in a somewhat cold manner, it almost seemed like we were a nuisance, perhaps due to the presence of four children at the table (who in reality were very good all evening). The options on the menu are very few, but I must say that we found everything we had excellent, in particular: rabbit tacos, smoked spaghetti with vignarola, potato tortelli and provola with chanterelle mushroom ragù. The portions of the first courses were also very generous. The cellar is good, it is appreciated that for the choice of wines you are accompanied down to the cellar, it is not for everyone. I must say that the service was a little slow between one course and another, especially serving the dessert took a long time. Good experience overall, but I don't know if we will return.

11/05/2025: Sono stato in questo locale consigliato da alcuni amici. L’ esperienza ha superato di gran lunga le mie aspettative. Abbiamo cenato al giardino esterno. Una location bellissima nel cuore di Sermoneta. Tutto buonissimo dall antipasto al dolce. Servizio eccellente, il cameriere Stefano che ci ha fatto sentire come a casa nostra. Complimenti allo chef. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliatissimo.

05/05/2025: We went to eat today May 1st, the staff was very nice and helpful but one very important thing... don't look at the menu... because we took a large cutting board in the Google menu the cost was 16.00 instead they charged us 25.00 and the tagliolini with truffle were 10.00 but on the bill they were 18.00 an exaggerated price for a large plate of pasta in oil with a grating of truffle... that is empty!!!! I think they take advantage of the tourists... perhaps not thinking that it depends on them... they don't even bring the menu to your table, they say it orally, so they set the price at the moment!!!! ANSWER When you don't know what to say, you say a lot of nonsense, I've been to your place and the menus aren't on the tables, you say it out loud but only the dishes!!! And apparently others have said it too... but you're happy, everyone's happy.

02/05/2025: We stopped to eat on Easter Sunday. They had a set menu for Easter, but we wanted something a la carte. There were few dishes available, listed by a lady verbally, with the prices spoken verbally and compared by Google. Pasta cooked too al dente, to the point that you could see the flour, a fairly large piece of bone from the wild boar meat. Water brought in a dirty bottle, full of many fingerprints. The whole time we were eating, they were intoxicating us with cigarette smoke, some of the staff were sitting smoking right at the table that was in front of us. They were kind to us, but I saw a scene at the next table, really rude. There was a misunderstanding with the number of dishes served, it was one less. Okay, it can happen in confusion, but the customer should never be verbally attacked. I don't recommend this place.
