06/08/2024: The magical place. Beautiful. But food really not up to expectations. A website boasted many delicious things. Non-existent. If the site is old, change it! Don't raise false hopes. However, it was a terrible meal!

03/09/2024: During our holiday near Minturno we visited one or two restaurants, including the Osteria “alle Scalette” Short and sweet: A wonderful location, great ambience, delicious food and friendly service is what awaits you at the Osteria. It's worth knowing that you should definitely make a reservation, especially if you want to sit at one of the few tables outside. I give it 5***** and have already recommended the Osteria to other travelers ☺️

29/08/2024: Location with a country chic style, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing, then the waitress arrived and dampened all my enthusiasm, I had the feeling that she was in a hurry, she continued to go back and forth even though there were few people, with a look annoyed but!!!😪unlike the other waiter with glasses who was so polite and kind!! The dishes were good, the beef tartare was passable, the carbonara was a little too tasty, the tiramisu was excellent!!! Prices a little high!!!

21/08/2024: Bad communication from the owner!!! We have been to this place numerous times accompanied by a small dog and they have never caused any problems; this evening the owner rudely informed one of her employees that we had to leave because of the dog. The dining room staff were very kind, especially when they told us that we had to leave the place. I highly recommend putting up a sign stating that pets are not allowed.

24/08/2024: Gli antipasti erano quasi immangiabili. Le indicazioni sul menù poco chiare, ad esempio non era specificato quando presenti prodotti surgelati, e non era presente alcuna lista degli ingredienti. La pizza era abbastanza buona se non per due errori: Una è arrivata bruciata e bucata. Tutte le pizze presentavano un cornicione completamente crudo. Il servizio è stato molto caotico e impreciso, caso peggiore aver dimenticato una pizza. Prezzi ingiustificatamente troppo alti. (Esempio: Piccola porzione di patatine surgelate 6€) Unica nota positiva, forse, è la possibilità di prenotazione di sabato. Eviterei di tornarci in futuro.

04/08/2024: I'm leaving this negative review because the experience in this place wasn't the best, we complained about the food but our rating didn't seem to matter, we had a platter of super salty vegetables we asked to change them because in addition to the salt in the inside they had added salt on top, we ordered two plates of spaghetti with clams they brought us spaghetti with lupins, but only when we pointed out that they were not clams did they put the blame on the waiter who made the mistake, note in the menu that the pasta with lupins there is no, they brought burnt bread and instead of bread they gave us focaccia, we asked for a La bella pizza with salted ricotta but they put grated cheese in it, parmesan pizza was salty, low quality frying, I I complained hoping to speak to the chef since I have been in the restaurant business for 13 years, but nothing, in the end they presented us with the bill with increased prices l, cutting board 12 instead of 10, the pizza La bella €12.5 instead of 12, thank you very much for the service

14/08/2024: I'm calling to book for 6 people for the evening of August 15th (15th August) first they confirm the booking, then they call back to ask if there are any "allergics" among us. "I'm allergic to shellfish", I reply, "so look, we don't want allergies as the evening is special and we don't want problems. SPEECHLESS! Nothing like this has ever happened in 40 years of life.

Frankly disappointing service, biblical waiting times, the Bible of the Old Testament, and the only positive note is the smile of the waiter who very professionally urges you three four five times to order more food. And the reason is clear: 10% of the total price of the dinner is added to the bill as a service charge. The Ponzi scheme was more honest. Speaking of the dishes, a bit of pasta and courgettes "with seared prawns" (just one prawn) is not far from the culinary skill of an off-site in Milan. And at the time of the bill, at the request to divide the cost of the dinner by paying both parties by card, the astonished, rancorous and nervous face of the owner can only reflect the contempt with which one cannot help but remember Angels and Sailors. The location is beautiful, I would open a restaurant there.
