03/10/2025: An A+ experience! During a trip to Isola del Liri, we discovered this little gem: Osteria Pignata e Cucchiara. A place that embodies true Italian hospitality, offering a simple yet high-quality culinary experience. The atmosphere is well-maintained, welcoming, and familiar, with a rustic and authentic style. Perfect for a relaxing break: the osteria seats about 30 inside and another 20 outside to enjoy the tranquility of the place. The cuisine is genuine, honest, and showcases excellent raw ingredients. We opted for a quick lunch and were delighted: Mixed Platter (ideal for 2 people at €15): A true triumph of local flavors. The selection of cured meats (prosciutto, loin, salami, coppa, and mortadella) and the four types of sheep's milk cheese (from spicy to mild) was plentiful and incredibly fresh. An unmissable appetizer to start! Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe (a generous serving for two at €10): A perfectly executed dish of long, homemade pasta. Creamy, flavorful, and with just the right balance of pepper. A true treat for the palate. The service was impeccable, quick, and courteous, in true osteria style. What makes this place exceptional is the value for money: simply excellent! In addition to the very reasonably priced à la carte dishes, they offer a complete lunch menu from Tuesday to Friday for just €12 (including a first course, second course, and side dish), which is a rarity given the quality offered. Osteria Pignata e Cucchiara deserves top marks. If you're in the area, it's a must-visit for authentic Italian cuisine and a home-away-from-home feel. Highly recommended!

16/09/2025: Beautiful restaurant. Ample parking. Well-maintained garden, perfect for souvenir photos. Very elegant interior, suitable for weddings and other events, or for couples. Very clean. Friendly staff. Excellent quality of ingredients. The only caveat: events are held simultaneously, which means that for birthdays with music (despite being hosted in a closed room), the noise level is a bit high, but not to the point of being intolerable. Advice for restaurant owners: adequately soundproof the event room.

14/09/2025: We chose this beautiful and historic location to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary with our loved ones! We were very satisfied on every front. The food was delicious, with generous portions and unique combinations. The waiters were very kind, friendly, and professional! We highly recommend it.

01/10/2025: I had a wonderful meal on Sunday with my family at an osteria with excellent service. The owner was very helpful and let us try all their dishes. The porcini mushrooms were delicious and the meat was tender. We were happy and will be back. Thanks to Mauretto for his hospitality.

Every time I enter this place, I'm immediately welcomed by a warm, authentic, and familiar atmosphere, which is increasingly difficult to find these days. The first thing that strikes you is the quality of the pizza: the dough is light and fragrant, with a perfect leavening that makes it digestible and enjoyable even after eating a whole one. The ingredients are fresh, carefully selected, and always plentiful, without ever being heavy or overdone. You can clearly sense the passion behind every choice, from the flour to the tomato, mozzarella, and other toppings. The menu is rich and varied: from classic pizzas, perfectly executed, to more unique and creative ones, surprising in their balance and flavor. It's impossible not to find something to suit your tastes, and the great thing is that every offering always maintains the highest standard of quality. Another strong point, truly worth highlighting, is the staff. Always kind, smiling, ready to offer advice and meet customer needs. They don't just serve, they create an experience: they make you feel like a guest, not just a customer. The place is well-kept, welcoming, and clean, with a convivial atmosphere that makes both a family dinner and an evening with friends enjoyable. It's the kind of place you choose once and then happily return to, knowing you'll never be disappointed. In a world full of "all the same" pizzerias, Su e Giù stands out for its authenticity, quality, and passion. It's clear that there's a lot of hard work and dedication behind this establishment, and the result is a pizza that truly lingers in your memory. In conclusion, I can only enthusiastically recommend it: anyone who loves pizza should try it at least once, because I'm sure they'll return again and again, just like I did. A true excellence, a must-visit for those who want to eat well and feel pampered.

13/09/2025: I really like this place. Located on the Liri river, it offers a view of the beautiful waterfall. The interior is original and very welcoming. Good food, good cocktails, and very friendly staff. Prices are a little higher than other places in the area, but it's worth it.
