08/07/2025: The service and food was good, but I was not happy with the way the tip was handled. At the time of payment, the waiter added €9 as a tip without asking me or giving me a choice. I believe tips should be voluntary, not pushed onto the customer.

27/06/2025: Slow and expensive service, a soft drink costs 8 euros and sometimes they bring you things you didn't order, a croissant costs 4 and on top of that it's very stiff, as if it were from last week.

21/06/2025: Unfortunately I find myself morally forced to write a terrible review for this Bar and to have to warn tourists, due to the terrible relationship between quality, quantity and price of what is consumed. Sky-high prices for miserable portions and very low quality. Unfortunately I did not take a photo of the dish (a slice of fruit) which was ridiculous to say the least. Despite the price (about 17 euros if I remember correctly) and aware of the fact that I was in the center of Rome, I did not expect a box of fruit or even the quantity for a baby. Ridiculous. I felt mocked both as a tourist and offended as an Italian. This is why tourists are increasingly migrating abroad.....anyway avoid people, avoid.....

17/07/2025: Prezzi bassi. Unico motivo per andarci. Il resto veramente approssimativo. Ho rispetto per chi lavora quindi non mi dilungo ad elencare i particolari…magari è stato solo un caso sfortunato. Alla signora in cassa però chiedo perché mi ha addebitato un euro in più sul conto, quando ho chiesto di splittare il totale su due carte di credito. “Sono 75€…ma se è così faccio 76€” Mai vista una cosa del genere. Per un euro (1€…) ha fatto davvero una brutta figura, mi creda.

24/05/2025: Ho messo una stella solo per la location, tutto il resto incommentabile. Trofie al limone e gamberi da dimenticare, gamberi piccolissimi e insapore, talmente piccoli che nemmeno si riuscivano a sgusciare, il limone era talmente tanto che inacidiva la pasta. Filetto di spigola in crosta di patate duro, ai livelli di un precotto che sicuramente non ci si aspetta in un ristorante di mare, presi tre e tutti e tre hanno lasciato la delusione . Sgroppino senza grappa come ci era stato descritto. Per il crudo si può fare sicuramente molto di più sia in qualità che in presentazione. Peccato perché il locale interno e esterno è molto gradevole ed è l’unica cosa che si possa commentare egregiamente. Spero che sia stata una giornata storta e non la normalità… peccato

09/05/2025: Piatti eseguiti male, ad esempio gli spaghetti alle vongole erano annacquati e insapore. Trucchi tipo l’acqua al tavolo strapagata da 0,65 litri fanno veramente ridere. Prezzi di tutto il menu medio alti. Andate altrove.

01/05/2025: Purtroppo non avevo guardato trip advisor prima di entrare in questo ristorante vicinissimo a fontana di trevi e sono rimasto fregato . Servizio pessimo perché per portarti i menu li devi chiedere diverse volte ma peggio ancora la qualità dei piatti serviti . Lasciamo perdere .

16/07/2025: Go away, rude personnel, expensive, they demand you to pay cash and they take tip with no excuse, at least 5€. When you ask why they answer why not? One star is too much.

12/07/2025: Total tourist rip-off. Cappuccino for €5!! The waiter pushed me every time he walked past my chair. Incredibly rude. There was no apology. The tables were so close together that they could maximize profit from the overpriced drinks. Absolutely not recommended!

07/07/2025: We had lunch at a restaurant on Via da Conciliazone after visiting St. Peter's Basilica. We had pizza and pasta. The food was very good. The staff were friendly and, in the Italian way, a bit rough, and at times, it was almost funny.

17/06/2025: Ironic review: ⭐☆☆☆☆ – “The (too much) milk of life!” I enter the bar convinced that I will have breakfast like a queen: latte and croissant, a classic €3.60 combo. But here's the twist: I naively ask for “with cold milk”, not caviar. And that's where the magic ends. Smile from the barista, button on the recorder and PUM: +€0.70. Seventy cents for the cold milk. Not even if they had milked it live from a Siberian cow. Never, and I repeat never, has this happened in any bar in the known world, real or imaginary. Not even at the airport. Not even in Oslo. At this point I expect that tomorrow the ice in the glass will have a seasonal surcharge. Mystical experience. Will I return? Only if I change jobs and want to open a franchise of “cold milk at a golden weight”.

18/02/2025: siamo stati accolti calorosamente da uno staff educato forse poi un po’ troppo frettoloso a mandarci via. Delusi assolutamente da nulla fino all’arrivo del primo, mi è stato servito un “brodo annacquato di carbonara” invece che gli gnocchi in crema di carbonara che ho scelto sul menu. Fatto presente al cameriere mi è stato detto,(in modo onestissimo), che solitamente (e per fortuna) a nessuno viene servito un piatto del genere.

03/02/2025: Consigliato da amici prenoto e andiamo pensando di mangiare ottima carne ....locale molto carino, di domenica pochi tavoli pieni. antipasti buoni, niente di che. La nota dolente arriva con la Tomahawk (il cameriere ordinando mi dice che sara' di 1.4kg), portata al sangue su pietra lavica a tavola, peccato che era molto dura e stoppacciosa. L'abbiamo fatto presente al cameriere, ma il risultato non e' cambiato. Non lo consiglio, ci sono molti altri ristoranti specializzati in carne a roma dove si mangia molto meglio.... e aggiungo, troppo caro per la qualita' del cibo ricevuto!

29/06/2025: We decided to dine in at this restaurant with our family of 4. The service was mediocre, same with the food quality. What really brought down the rating here was the following. We ordered a Caesar salad for my daughter and the entire top layer was VERY heavily covered with dressing. Even after tossing the salad to mix, the greens were drenched with dressing, very unpleasant to eat. We asked the waiter to take it back and bring something else as this was not edible. He took it back, brought another plate and still charged for the salad that was returned back to the kitchen. I asked for the check to be updated (less the salad) and their response was it was impossible to do because the owner was not there. For that reason, the service is considered poor and deserving of a lower rating.
