24/11/2024: Siamo ritornati al Marechiaro dopo qualche anno che non tornavamo da queste parti. Come si dice, passano gli anni ma è sempre un piacere. Tutto a dir poco fantastico, cibo buonissimo e location che non delude mai! Bravi!

Wine cellar suited to the offer.
The construction of the menu entirely woven around the quality of the raw materials and the distinctive new elements included was appreciated.
Starters, first and second courses which, while maintaining the characteristics of the best tradition, have been reworked and embellished.

15/09/2024: I had dinner in a fish restaurant in Lignano Sabbiadoro, right in front of the sea, and the experience was exceptional. The fresh fish starter was delicious, with flavors that enhanced the quality of the ingredients. The second fish dish was equally excellent, cooked to perfection. Even the calzone, unexpectedly, was a pleasant surprise: crunchy on the outside and tasty on the inside. The sea view made everything even more special. Courteous and attentive service. A place that I highly recommend for those looking for a quality dinner in a unique atmosphere. 5 stars deserved.

02/02/2025: Decent eating.... Horrible service.. The 2 first courses arrived after more than an hour.... The 2 second courses arrived after another 40 minutes... Cold potatoes from the fridge..... Tables of people who after an hour of vain waiting.... They are gone. Very bad experience.
02/02/2025: We booked by telephone for 8 people. As we were leaving with 4 children, we preferred to book in advance, as we also had to cover several kilometers of road. On the phone the lady very kindly offered us the possibility to choose between inside or outside. We chose the interior. Having arrived right on time at the Farmacia dei Sani, we unfortunately learned that our table was no longer available due to a general misunderstanding between their staff. In a hasty and superficial manner we were informed that they had filled the place and that they were not equipped to serve outside. We would have liked to be able to evaluate the quality of the food but unfortunately it was not possible. I avoid talking about the difficulty and inconvenience of feeding 4 children while looking for an alternative at lunch time. We know that the same dynamic was repeated on the same day to other families of friends who had a reservation at the Farmacia dei Sani.

18/01/2025: The environment and the people who work there immediately put us at ease. The menu is not huge but the proposals are different in taste and ingredients and are very tempting. The choices we made (first courses) satisfied us completely: well presented, tasty, abundant.
07/01/2025: Nice modern place, they welcomed us well with a basket of bread and taralli and pizza bread while waiting for the pizzas, good and thin on average prices in the norm for being in Lignano (recommended)

25/01/2025: Good evening, I've never done it but this time I'm doing this review from the heart because we felt so cheated, we were here in Lignano for some judo competitions, we were looking for a good pizzeria, after the various phone calls to the various pizzerias in the surrounding area, everyone being full, the only place where 14 people could have dinner was found free and was this place, we sat down at 8pm we immediately noticed that there was no one else inside, only us from here some people immediately came to us doubts a gentleman owner of the place was basically the one to take the orders, bring drinks, make the pizzas and everything else that I'll leave you to imagine after an hour he brought us the pizzas they were practically inedible full of oil, a bottle of water 4 euros a can of 0.33 4 euros crazy prices, zero service and so on and so forth, I just feel like saying that when you are not up to it, perhaps for the non-summer period, it is not right to make certain commitments

23/09/2024: Pranzo di fine estate con amici in questo locale da noi conosciuto. Grazie alla compagnia e alla qualità e cura dei piatti serviti è stato un ottimo pranzo per tutti noi. Da consigliare spaghetti vongole bottarga, penne integrali pomodoro bufalina, gamberoni. :))))

La location è tranquilla, in riva al mare e sulla darsena.
20/09/2024: Ordinato un fritto misto e una grigliata di pesce... tempo di attesa: 60 minuti! Decisamente troppo! Chieste spiegazioni ci viene detto che da loro i piatti sono espressi... menomale, dovrebbe essere così dappertutto ormai. Ogni volta che la cameriera entrava in sala con un piatto sembrava portasse l'oro, tutti che aspettavano spazientiti! La clientela poi decisamente age', over 70...
Questo locale per risollevarsi dovrebbe assumere più personale soprattutto in cucina e modernizzarsi un attimo.

13/01/2025: Ho iniziato a scrivere questa recensione non prima di essermi stupita delle ultime due recensioni. Sembra di essere stata in un posto diverso. Ma veniamo alla mia esperienza. Ci sono stata ad aprile 2024 con copie di amici (eravamo a lignano per delle gare di nuoto). Cercavamo un posto che facesse pesce ma che non fosse di quelli chic. Devbo dire che i primi piatti di pesce ci sono piaciuto molto e le porzioni erano piuttosto generose. Camerieri cordiali e una curiosità nella stanza dove c'era il nostro tavolo: un'altalena attaccata al soffitto su cui dondolarsi in atesa dell'arrivo dei piatti. rapporto prezzo qualità giusto.
02/01/2025: Come posto si presenta bene perchè sembra un locale tipico ma è probabilmente l'unica cosa che si salva.
Se si prenota un tavolo bisogna comunque aspettare anche se si arriva all'orario stabilito perchè fanno accomodare altri clienti per l'aperitivo, insomma è colpa del cliente se si presenta qualche minuto prima. Una volta fatti accomodare non hanno pensato di pulire il tavolo. Giacca rovinata con olio o chissà cosa.
Ci hanno servito cicchetti non esattamente freschi e patatine fritte riscaldate o fritte due volte per non buttarle.
Mentre mangiavamo, abbiamo notato che il ragazzo che metteva i cicchetti freschi nel banco con le mani, senza guanti, maneggiava anche i soldi in cassa. Non abbiamo visto lavandini o pinze. Inutile dire che siamo stati male. Classica trappola per turisti. Se visitate Lignano questo posto è da evitare. Ah, non ci hanno fatto lo scontrino.

30/09/2024: Had two burgers and fries which came out to about 40 Euros. Food was solid. Service was good. The server was friendly. There’s limited street parking right outside the restaurant.
08/09/2024: We did not have reservations, no tables availible but they squeezed us in after few minutes wait at the bar. The outside looks lovely, the inside also but where we sat inside was more like a diner or fast food place.
We had water to drink but had to ask for glasses.
We ordered chicken curry, steak fille and cheese fries as a side. After very few minutes the fries arrives at our table. 15 minutes later the waiter goes to next table with steak and chicken, there the chicken is sent back as it was not correct but steak stayed and soon the other plate arrived at the other table (which was actually seated many minutes after us) we waited longer and finally got the steak, wrongly cooked and cold chicken that had been sitting in the kitchen. The waiter had new bucket of fries but since we already had fries, 25 minutes earlier, he said they were for someone else and took them back since we started on the others while waiting. We complained to the other waiter who gave us the seats, he went into the kitchen and brought fries, the same ones the other took back.
When they cleared the table, the asked how it was, we told them the food was cold, the waiter was not surprised and could not care less.
Conclusion, food could be ok if served hot and cooked to request. There is something wrong with the service and staff behaviour is poor, probably because they don't care and they are not seeing me again, which is totally true, will never go again.
