22/10/2024: Passing by on a motorbike, beautiful location overlooking Bobbio and Valtrebbia. Excellent home cooking, tagliatelle with fresh home made porcini mushrooms, pissarei and fasò.... Compliments to the courteous and helpful staff. Advised.

Outdoors the landscape is crazy, and the farmhouse is nestled in a hill above Bobbio from which you can see the whole valley, and inside you can savor an elegant and comfortable rusticity, combined perfectly with the selected cuisine offered. We ate cold cuts with a first course, the only flaw was the cold cuts were too young, but everything else won us over :)

12/01/2025: Oggi abbiamo avuto il piacere di pranzare in questo ristorante e non possiamo che definirlo un'esperienza indimenticabile. Abbiamo scelto di affidarci al percorso proposto dallo staff, e si è rivelato un vero e proprio trionfo di sapori e qualità. La degustazione si è aperta con dieci antipasti, ognuno dei quali rappresentava un piccolo capolavoro, perfettamente equilibrato e preparato con ingredienti di primissima qualità. È seguita poi un'esplosione di gusto con un tris di primi, che ha saputo esaltare la tradizione pur mantenendo un tocco di originalità. Ma il vero clou è arrivato con i quattro secondi di carne, cucinati alla perfezione e accompagnati da contorni che valorizzavano ogni boccone. Ogni portata si distingueva per l'attenzione ai dettagli e l'uso di prodotti artigianali e squisiti, che rendevano l'intero percorso un viaggio culinario irripetibile. A chiudere in bellezza, una carta dei dolci sorprendente, con una varietà che ha saputo soddisfare ogni desiderio, e una carta dei vini altrettanto curata, con proposte eccellenti in grado di accompagnare perfettamente ogni piatto. Il tutto a un prezzo più che onesto, considerando la qualità e la quantità offerta. Torneremo prestissimo, certi di vivere un'altra esperienza straordinaria. Consigliatissimo!

I found such professionalism and courtesy, I had lunch with my wife and the child in passing coming down from the Penice pass.... they welcomed us even though we had not booked and the place was full.... really excellent food.... the little one was treated with care by the waiters and the owners.... congratulations

I took a first course (pasta with meatball sauce) and a second course (grilled sausage with boiled potatoes) and I found both dishes delicious with the perfect quantity to fill you up while I instead found the bread reviewable. Excellent service with those who had to take the order very patient (with me there were 2 other people and a foreign boy who speaks little Italian), dishes arrived with perfect timing and nice and hot, excellent value for money with the welcome possibility to do separate accounts. I'm working here in the area on the move and I really think I'll have lunch at this place often!

20/09/2024: Found by chance while passing by motorbike: exceptional cuisine, great courtesy and friendliness of the owner and chef, low prices. The mulberry jam tart is sublime. The wild boar is also very good. I'm appalled by the comments that say the portions are small! The portions here are fair, however tending towards the abundant rather than the sparse! Anyone who just wants to fill their stomach to excess has an underdeveloped sense of taste!
