14/08/2025: They know how to use porcini mushrooms. Excellent tagliata...very good first courses with LARGE portions...and jugged wild boar that melts in your mouth. Not to mention the hospitality, truly top-notch...

10/08/2025: Rustic place and excellent food and quality. Excellent service. Mixed plates of crostini and tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms with a scent that I still remember and abundant. A place that I have added not only to my favorites but to the places to remember and return to and being about 180 km away I assure you that it is really worth returning. Unfortunately I did not take photos because my smartphone runs out of battery.

07/03/2025: Warm and welcoming place and staff 😍 We ate very well and a lot at an honest price. In particular we tried the stuffed piadinas and house vegetables. The piadinas were kneaded and rolled out by hand by a wonderful lady who also gave us mimosas!!! We will definitely be back!!! Mandatory stop to do in Rimini 😁 P.S. we spent an average of 18 euros each but we took a lot of things because we were hungry but at the end of lunch we were definitely full ☺️

27/07/2025: I visited your establishment today at 11:45 a.m. and had an experience I can't describe as positive. Upon entering, I wasn't greeted with a hello or a smile from the counter staff. I waited for three minutes before apologizing and making myself known, and even then, I was served without any courtesy or empathy. The service was impersonal and mechanical, with no attempt to create a welcoming atmosphere or connect with me as a customer. When I finished and left, I said "good morning" just to emphasize the lack of courtesy I'd experienced. Working with the public can be difficult, but it's also an opportunity to create a positive and memorable experience for customers. Unfortunately, your establishment doesn't seem to have seized this opportunity and missed the chance to make a positive impression on me. My "wow" didn't happen, and frankly, I don't plan on returning. I hope this review helps improve your service and customer relations. I hope your restaurant will take my feedback into consideration and work on improving the hospitality and courtesy of its staff. Since I can't respond to your reply, I'll post it here. I'd like to clarify that my review wasn't intended to denigrate anyone, but rather to provide constructive feedback on my experience. If you'd like to verify my presence at your store, I can send you a screenshot of the €34 payment I made, for which I also requested a receipt. I came for two first courses, but they told me they weren't available until 12:00. I'm sure that if you check more closely, you'll see. I'll wait for the screenshot to clear up any doubts you may have.

10/08/2025: Dinner included tagliata with porcini mushrooms, a side of potatoes, 1/2 liter of rosé wine, sorbet, and liqueurs to finish. Everything was excellent. Very fast service, really good prices. Recommended!!

23/07/2025: A hilltop restaurant with a beautiful view. I went there for my girlfriend's anniversary, and the little room they gave us was perfect for a couples' dinner. The food was really good; with a first course each and a grilled meat for a second course, we were incredibly full. Plus, their homemade pulled gnocchi was out of this world! Plus, the price was quite reasonable. The service was also truly excellent; in our case, the waitress was excellent and friendly!

23/07/2025: We had dinner at Cicala on a Tuesday evening in July. As soon as we arrived, we were asked if we wanted water, and it was brought to us immediately. However, they didn't serve us the welcome plate with some appetizers, which they instead served to all the other tables along with water. The waitress came to take our orders shortly afterward. We ordered three first courses, followed by gnocco and tigelle. After a good half hour, the first courses arrived. The portions were medium-small for the price, but the quality was quite good. After clearing the first courses, another half hour later, the gnocco and tigelle with cured meats arrived, which were of good quality. Overall, the waiters were always very friendly and helpful. The bill was steep. We spent €110 for three of us, ordering three first courses for €16 each, gnocco and tigelle for two (€16 x 2 = €32), two bottles of water, and a Coke. We weren't 100% satisfied.

18/08/2025: The service definitely needs rethinking: they weren't very attentive in their welcome and were clearly not very organized. The staff should be more attentive in welcoming guests. The music was excessively loud, making the atmosphere rather unpleasant during what should have been a pleasant experience. Furthermore, there was a misunderstanding regarding the availability of the à la carte menu: we weren't informed in advance that we couldn't choose freely, and, in fact, the waiter actually urged us to choose the set menu. The table layout also didn't seem well thought out, and since we were near the pool, there was a rather persistent chlorine smell that didn't make for a pleasant experience. For these reasons, I wouldn't recommend this place and personally wouldn't give it another chance.

15/08/2025: Unfortunately, we only stayed for a few days, but it felt like home. We wanted to relax but also have some fun, and here we found what we were looking for. Congratulations to everyone for their kindness and helpfulness.

13/04/2025: Ci troviamo qui in 5 amici, frequentatori assidui e contenti di questo locale che ci piace moltissimo per la qualità del cibo , rigorosamente tipico di quella zona tra Modena e Bologna in cui viviamo 🙃😄 Puntuali alle 13 ci viene proposto il tris di primi : famosissimi tortelloni alla ricotta conditi con burro e e salvia, uno splendido cannellone xl con gli asparagi ed i migliori tortellini in brodo della zona, porzioni molto abbondanti. Già a questo punto saremmo sazi, decidiamo però di prendere un assaggio di secondi, quindi procediamo con un buonissimo carpaccio di manzo con ABTDM, arrosto ripieno di carciofi ed un ottimo pollo agli aromi ; da bere il lambrusco di produzione propria , acqua il caffè fatto con la moka ed il dolce, io ho scelto il semifreddo. Posto da tornare assiduamente

02/03/2025: Dopo anni sono ritornata in questo ristorante con amici. Location sicuramente migliore nel periodo estivo, andando in inverno e di sabato sera il locale era pieno e le sale hanno un'acustica che non aiuta, molta confusione e brusio forte che non permette di conversare , ma la cosa che mi e' dispiaciuta maggiormente e' stata scoprire solo al momento dell'indicazione a voce del menu', a causa della confusione abbiamo dovuto richiedere più volte di ripeterlo, che era fisso 3 primi proponendoli in tris e come secondo gnocco tigelle e 2 intingoli , cosa che ne in sede di prenotazione ne sul sito era indicata . Abbiamo scelto 1 solo primo, tortelli ricotta burro e salvia che erano scotti e totalmente insapori e scarsi come porzione singola , gnocco tigelle e affettato invece discreti . Correttezza da parte del gestore al momento del conto di ridurlo per un commensale che per problemi dentali non aveva potuto praticamente mangiare nulla di quanto proposto a menù .

04/05/2025: Very bad experience. After having explained and reported to anyone who came to the table what my allergies were (dried fruit and seed oils), I promptly received chips and hazelnuts on my plate. After having specifically asked to check that there was nothing on the dishes (in particular seed oil not visible) and having received reassuring news... tonight I find myself with a face like a balloon and forced to take cortisone! they don't get a complaint because I don't want to carry on! The least is that people know! Be careful because due to superficiality and lack of professionalism your health could be at risk in case of allergies!

15/04/2025: Beautiful location, easily reachable from both the Via Emilia and the Complanare. Excellent food (really delicious crescents) and very friendly and helpful staff. The "bubbles" by the pool are particular and make the atmosphere truly special

31/07/2025: E’ da anni che frequento il Pieve caffè e mi sono trovata sempre molto bene! I ragazzi sono cordiali e preparano degli ottimi aperitivi e delle ottime colazioni! E’ l’unico locale di Pievepelago che durante la settimana tiene aperto fino a tardi! Consigliatissimo!!!
