30/12/2025: Eating in a lemon house has its own unique flavor.
The atmosphere is beautiful, and Mr. Carlo, the owner, spent time with me, making me feel right at home.
I found the various dishes very good, with carefully chosen and interesting pairings.
Kudos to the staff: polite, kind, courteous, and very knowledgeable in explaining the dishes.
I'll definitely be back!
30/11/2025: Make sure you walk back up to the lemon grove as you enjoy the fine food. We were greeted by the owner - Carlo - who personally set up our table for 6. DELICIOUS!! I bought his book of fine recipes and will email him a picture of my first effort. You MUST try his excellent restaurant. Paul (visiting from Wisconsin/USA).
Hello Carlo DeFilippo - today (November 29, 2025) I made the Penne con Salmone e Vodka from the book that I bought from you and everyone loved it. You would have been proud of me. Your restaurant was our favorite. GRAZIE!!

15/03/2026: This establishment is quiet and exceptionally well run. Everyone greets you like a friend, and serves you with every intent to make your time there memorable.
We had octopus on a potato crème sauce, Vongole that had a fabulous flavor, escarole with raisins and olives that was luscious, and the best tasting verdure grigliata we have ever experienced.
Also, talk to your waiter about the local wines as they are very good.
All in all, we believe restaurant Masaniello is under rated and should be a must try.

29/12/2025: Seaside restaurant that serves everything anchovies! Absolutely fantastic. Had 4 anchovie courses for lunch and each one was gastronomic experience. Must see!!! Parking is an issue, our driver dropped us off in front of restaurant otherwise have to park 1/2 mile away

You can enjoy delicious dishes at reasonable prices.
The family staff is extremely courteous and happy to offer advice on choosing your course.
02/01/2026: EXQUISITE! 🤩🤩 We went to try the anchovy sauce and I have to say it was nothing short of amazing. The desserts were very unique but absolutely exceptional.
We had an unforgettable experience.
Last but not least, the staff was very welcoming and helpful, which made our experience even better.

The pizza is great, especially the gluten-free version.
Unfortunately, tourists are outmatched by locals when it comes to service.
The serving time for a tourist is unacceptable :(.
Think about it.
30/12/2025: I ordered a Margherita, but the ingredients weren't of the highest quality and the pizza was heavy to digest, despite being topped simply with mozzarella and tomato. I expected much more.

15/10/2024: Premetto che per la vista e la posizione meriterebbe 6 stelle, che il cibo l'ho trovato davvero di livello, voto 5, purtroppo il servizio non è assolutamente in linea con la fama, voto 3. Detto questo vale assolutamente la pena andarci, magico!
26/09/2024: Bij aankomst niemand die de deur open doet, moeten aanbellen. Diner, allemaal hetzelfde eten graag. Oké als je vegetarisch bent mag je wat anders. Teveel regeltjes en uitleg bij het diner. Als je een Michelin ster hebt moet je gewoon alles kunnen koken a la minute als de gast erom vraagt. Rare zaak, geen goeie vibe, bijna leeg, naast ons 1 andere tafel. Gaan er nooit meer terug.
