03/08/2025: Ci siamo fermati a pranzo qualche giorno fa con i miei amici,…che dire siamo stati conquistati dalla freschezza dei piatti. Polpette appena impastate e infornate. Lo consigliamo vivamente sia per la bontà dei piatti che per la gentilezza dei proprietari, veramente cordiali e accoglienti. Consiglio vivamente le polpette e gli gnocchi alla Nerano. Posizione centralissima e comoda per chi si vuole godere una giornata al mare e mangiare bene. Straconsigliato

They don't answer the phone, you don't have a reference, then they tell you that you are out of hours, if you sit down they take orders without even looking at you, you are a number that rings the bell for them, all you have to do is get up quickly and then you read that we have no respect for those who work: Mr. Customer is the one who demands respect.

03/09/2025: During our stay in Maiori, we had lunch at this delicatessen several times and were delighted every time. The sandwiches are prepared with high-quality ingredients, generous in size, and offered at a very reasonable price, which is rare on the Amalfi Coast. Whether you order them to go or eat in, everything is excellent! In addition to the sandwiches, the delicatessen offers a wonderful selection of local products, prepared meals, and Italian specialties to discover. Located in the heart of Maiori, it's an ideal place for an authentic gourmet break. We highly recommend it!

23/08/2025: Really great place to stop and enjoy! The prices are the cheaper of the area and for that prices you have a really good food. We had to wait a bit for our dishes and for that reason they give us specialty for free. A great pleasure to diner there!

21/08/2025: Our favourite place to eat at Maiori. Friendly family run business that really cares about the quality of food and providing a lovely authentic experience. We have been three times already and planning to go back again before we fly home. The pizza was my daughter’s favourite pizza on holiday - trust me, she tried at least one a day in the last 12 days! The sea bream is amazing and their chicken special is like my mum’s. Wholesome food! You just need to go either at lunchtime or early evening to guarantee a spot as it gets busy - and so it should be!

26/08/2025: We went for a drink and they had good intriguing cocktails. One of the few bars where you don't sut directly on the street. The garden with the lemon trees is the main highlight, a really hidden gem.

05/06/2025: Never again! The food is out... (I'm holding back here). It was horrible. We didn't want to pay anything. It was quite a hassle; we had to fight to avoid paying. English isn't their strong suit. I asked for the boss and went there with Google Translate. I don't recommend it!

28/08/2025: We went to the Acqua Pazza restaurant in Cetara last night. What can I say: the two stars are for the location, which is very pretty, especially the exterior, and is located in the heart of Cetara. Unfortunately, however, it was a bit late when we arrived, and since we didn't have a reservation, they seated us inside. The space, while meticulously designed (I really appreciated the tablecloth and the custom table setting), was too small, with the tables far too close together. Guests were practically crammed together, not allowing for the minimal amount of privacy I honestly expect during a dinner. Up until we sat down, the service seemed excellent: the waiters were kind and helpful. We chose what we liked best and shared a swordfish and eggplant appetizer, which, personally, I didn't like at all. Furthermore, I find it absurd to have to pay an extra €4 to share a dish: the intent in these cases is certainly not to save money (also because, at those prices, we wouldn't have chosen them), but simply to try as many dishes as possible. The dish, however, was rather bland and not particularly flavorful, although I appreciated the idea and the quality of the fish. The portions, however, especially for the price, were truly meager. Moving on to the first courses, here comes the real disappointment. We had a tuna genovese, which wasn't bad, but nothing special. My first course, however, which was also the most expensive on the menu (€25), was tuna gnocchi: there was absolutely no tuna in it, the gnocchi were overcooked, and the flavor had nothing to do with fresh, good fish. Again, the portion was minimal. For the second course, we split a fish fry (again paying the extra €4). Nothing special: it wasn't bad, but it wasn't exceptional either. The total was €106. We were a little disappointed when we noticed that all the other customers (including us) were either given a discount to make up the difference, or offered a liqueur or coffee. We, however, weren't asked for one at all. Of course, we weren't supposed to, but I found it very unpleasant and rude to make this distinction, especially in a place like this. I think it was because we were two young people, and it almost seemed like they didn't consider us "up to par." Don't worry: I really don't think we'll be back.

04/09/2025: ...we love Cetara, so we're there whenever we can...whether it's summer or off-season...Same beach, same sea, same bar...At most, we vary the cocktail/drink selection at aperitivo time (today Campari Spritz and Hugo, but special mention goes to the "GARUM" and the accompanying platter of delicacies: tuna, anchovies, marinades, anchovies in oil, bread rolls, crostini...). The staff is young and always professional. Cristina was serving us again today, as often happens, and she guarantees the same quality and authenticity as everything listed above. Always top-notch! 24/08/2025: A true gem in Cetara, much more than just a bar I've known Gennaro, the owner, for many years, and it's thanks to him that, after a spring visit, we chose Cetara for our summer vacation. Known to all as "Cicerone," Gennaro is truly a go-to for anyone who wants to discover and experience Cetara and the Amalfi Coast to the fullest. Thanks to his help, we found a cozy apartment just steps from the sea at a more than fair price: from August 19th to 24th, we felt right at home. Bar Che Remi is much more than a bar: • perfect for starting the day with breakfast overlooking the sea, • ideal for a mid-morning aperitif, • excellent for lunch with delicious, light dishes, • in the evening, the unmissable pinza (pizza) of any flavor. Always delicious and light. After dinner, the atmosphere becomes unique: carefully crafted cocktails, a gin and tonic list with over 400 labels, and a true bestseller, the Cetara Garum Sour, an anchovy-based cocktail that perfectly captures the spirit of the place. Prices: Pinzas run around 8-9 euros, while drinks average around 8 euros, depending on the line you choose. The Garum, the best-selling drink, costs 12 euros. Traditional breakfasts, such as cappuccino and croissant, are available. A cappuccino costs 2.50 euros and a croissant costs 1.30 euros, just like any bar. It should also be noted that, if you become a regular customer, the staff always shows a special regard: during our week-long vacation, we were able to take advantage of a special discount. Plus, it's the only place on the Amalfi Coast that offers a rare detail: wet wipes brought to your table as soon as you finish eating, a simple gesture that truly makes a difference. The location, just steps from the historic Tower of Cetara, makes every evening evocative and unforgettable, especially in the company of friends.
