17/12/2025: Unfortunately, I had a bad experience at this restaurant. I chose it based on the good reviews and was intrigued by the dishes seen in the photos. The food, even though we only chose one course each, was very disappointing (which is why we didn't choose Alto). These mistakes could have been avoided (ok, we're not chefs, but at least we know the basics of cooking). We won't even go into details because it would be pointless. The service provided by the owner, on the other hand, was very courteous and excellent, but I would have expected a little more attention, especially given the problem we encountered. Precisely for this reason, I consider the bill decidedly steep, considering the food we ate. N.B. The reviews are not fake, as my account has a very high number of reviews and several badges awarded by Google.

26/08/2025: We ate at this family-run restaurant and were made to feel at home. The place is clean, welcoming, and the prices are average for the season. The food is divine. Thanks to Raffaele, who entertained us with his jokes, and to the very sweet Rosaria, who welcomed us with open arms. I highly recommend it.

18/10/2025: The location is beautiful (sea view, in a shaded garden) and the food was delicious. The prices are moderately high, but you can taste the quality and spend it happily. We didn't have any problems with waiting (as I read in other reviews), but it must be said that we ate very late, in a nearly empty restaurant. The staff was very friendly, and the overall experience was truly enjoyable. It's a shame to read so many negative reviews because it's a lovely place, with authentic cuisine (fresh and beautifully cooked fish, including fried fish that was nice and dry). You pay for the view (and the fame of Castellabate).

12/08/2025: Sono stato a cena con altre tre persone in questo locale dall'ambiente curato e dall'ottima cucina. Tutto procedeva bene, finché non si è verificato un episodio che, a mio avviso, è stato gestito male. Ordiniamo una bottiglia di vino. Ce ne versano una quantità minima a testa, e dopo dieci minuti la cameriera torna scusandosi: aveva servito il vino sbagliato. Porta via la bottiglia e ci chiede se vogliamo che ritiri anche i calici. Noi, pensando che comunque fosse un errore loro, li abbiamo tenuti. Al momento del conto, scopro che ci sono stati addebitati 8€ a testa (32€ in totale) per quel vino sbagliato. Faccio notare la cosa alla titolare che prova a giustificarsi e alla fine toglie solo una parte dell'importo, 16€ in tutto. Peccato, perché da un locale che si propone come di fascia alta mi sarei aspettato un gesto di cortesia, non un addebito per un errore loro, e per di più per una quantità che non si avvicinava nemmeno a un vero calice. Non è questione di soldi, ma di stile e professionalità: qualità che, in questo frangente, sono mancate. A mai più.
