I have to say it's very worth it, and we'll be back.
Excellent food, starting with the fried appetizers; the meat was exceptional and tender, and the grilled vegetables and potatoes were very popular.
The staff was attentive and very friendly, I highly recommend it :)
Excellent value for money.

30/07/2025: I had dinner at Vecchio Bottaio last night at the recommendation of the receptionist at my hotel. I tried the amberjack steak with eggplant mushrooms and zucchini alla scapece (side dish). The quality and preparation of the food were simply superb. Furthermore, the location just outside the center of Agropoli allows for a unique sense of tranquility and silence, exactly the relaxation I was looking for. The service was also excellent. The waiters were very knowledgeable and promptly informed me which dishes on the menu were unavailable and which "extras" were available. Highly recommended.
24/07/2025: We were here three nights in a row and really enjoyed the chef’s innovative approach. Always the most fresh and local ingredients. Great service and cosy atmosphere. Thank you for the wonderful food 😊

13/07/2025: Il ristorante avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata agli arredi che sono vetusti.
Ottimo il risotto ai frutti di mare rosé.
Buono anche l'arrosto di pesce. Non puoi però far pagare 28 euro per un piatto con quattro pezzi di pesce in tutto, con un solo scampo, mi sembra veramente esagerato.
Buono anche il sorbetto.

13/07/2025: Wonderful place, a corner of paradise and tranquility on the sea. The photos of the place are beautiful but in person they are even more beautiful. The staff are kind and helpful. The service is super top. If you want to regenerate yourself, it is highly recommended. Try it and believe it.
06/07/2025: Great location. Right on the sea. Impeccable service. Themed rooms with the context very beautiful and above all clean.
The breakfast was very good but the nice thing is the fact of having it outside with the sound of the sea in the background.
We spent the day on the solarium where there is an atmosphere of total relaxation. Towel and water are included. Lunch was equally good.
Their goal is to make you relax and with us they certainly succeeded.

17/07/2025: Fried to perfection. We ordered a bit of everything to take away so we could try more. Crispy and tasty, without a drizzle of excess oil. The owner was very friendly. There are four tables inside for a quick bite.

A perfect combination that keeps us coming back. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work.

I was skeptical at first, but then I ate wonderfully.
Delicious vegetables, grilled chicken, cured meats, mozzarella.
What can I say? It will be my regular stop every time I come to Agropoli.
Very fair prices.
I highly recommend it.

Appetizers, first courses, pizzas, desserts, the famous pasticciotto with cream and black cherry is something extraordinary. The cocktails? Absolutely must-try, one leads to another. The national bar is home ❤️

01/08/2025: We had dinner at this pizzeria as soon as we arrived in Agropoli. Even though we hadn't booked, they found us a spot as soon as we arrived in town. The staff were smiling, kind, and welcoming. The pizza was delicious, with a very light crust. Highly recommended!
