30/12/2023: Even though the bar is deep inside Napoli territory, a quiet word with the barman & a screen was found for me to watch an AS Roma match. The Peroni Rosso was served in 660ml bottles & were a reasonable price.

06/04/2024: We went for lunch with 3 people and a little dog. Cozy environment, the people in the room were very kind and helpful. The fish dishes were good and original. The bill is proportionate to the quality of the dishes.

30/03/2024: Excellent restaurant in the immediate vicinity of Sorrento...cozy and pleasant location...good fish dishes, same fish starters...very helpful and helpful service...good value for money with the fork discount...I recommend for those who want to take a little trip out of town or want to try their hand at a visit to the coast! 🍋🍋🍋🍋

20/03/2024: We stopped in quickly with my team returning from a trip. Even though it was a Saturday night and full of people, he prepared fried food and pizza for us in a short time, all really good!

29/12/2023: We found this place on Google map and decided to try it out. The road leading to the parking lot is quite tight so if you are driving a big car, be careful. We had a small car and it was quite a squeeze to get to the parking lot. The gentleman who welcomed and served us was friendly and spoke English well. English menu could be accessed via QR code. Service was prompt and good. We ordered the mixed grilled vegetables and buffalo mozzarella to start. Then the grilled lamb chops and clams in butter with a side of potato chips with parmesan. Finished with espressos. It was a really satisfying meal. Everything was well done. The view is beautiful, panoramic view of Sorrento with Mt Vesuvius in the back ground. We could also see Positano on the other side of the cliffs. The only down side is the noise from the rumbling traffic from the road below the dining area. It's not too bad but you can hear it when a big truck passes. Overall, I'd definitely recommend trying it out. Note: they serve pizzas only at night

26/12/2023: Simply a great restaurant. The waiter was friendly and accommodating, the food was cheap and fantastic. The pizzas en point are perfectly baked with fresh ingredients. During our stay near Naples we visited the restaurant three times because it was so good. Really recommended!

02/12/2023: We found Ristorante Calise whilst on a walk on our last evening of a week long stay near Sorrento. Well worth seeking out and a true hidden gem. We were given a fantastic welcome and the food was amazing. Our waiter brought out the owner Sabrina who makes the BEST tiramisu ever (see photo) and we met her husband Vincenzo the executive chef. True Italian hospitality and very friendly warm atmosphere. Also have to give Sabrina’s selection of liqueurs a big shot out and she was very generous with her complimentary samples, we even bought a few bottles home with us. If you are in the area please seek this fantastic independent restaurant out, you won’t be disappointed.

27/02/2024: My first experience in Sorrento. To me, an admittedly under-traveled English speaker, the staff were from start to finish welcoming, accomodating, and entirely patient with my entire party's blundering Italian. I loved the take on some "worldfood" bar classics: burgers to prosciutto sandwiches with fries ON every sandy, the Insalatona that'd slay any salad nicoise I've met, the mozzarella quesadilla! A significantly larger beer selection and fantastic (and diminutively priced) liquor options top it off. Slight marks for the weird music video / news / social media channel that dominated the radio, but marks returned for having music videos at all and not just sports talk. But I must repeat and emphasize: the service. This could be my neighborhood bar. I felt like a beloved regular the moment I entered. Above and beyond. I'll be back tomorrow probably.

28/12/2023: I had my wedding here and everything was incredible. The staff are so amazing and cared about making sure the day was super special. The dishes and wine were local and delicious. The desserts were also homemade. The environment, views, elegance and naturalness of the location make this spot a perfect wedding location. Thank you with all my heart for an unforgettable and magical day!

19/09/2023: I was staying in a hotel in the hills above sorrento and this restaurant was opposite our hotel. We booked in for dinner and walked there from our hotel and boy are we glad we went there. The views were stunning, 360 degrees in all directions over Sorrento and the amalfi coast. The staff were very friendly and service was very good. The actual premises was stunning, our table had a breath taking view and as this place is also a wedding venue there was a little Chapel up the most amazing flight of stairs. The food was very good and actually cheapest meal we had in Sorrento. It was so good we went there again and told everyone in our hotel to go there. Don't let the location put you off, they have a courtesy car and will collect you and drop you off to your hotel.

17/03/2024: Sono stato con amici in questo "piccolo, grande scrigno" del gusto per una cena. Complimenti a Sonia e Barbara, le due padroni di casa&cucina, che accolgono gli ospiti alla grande. Il locale è "piccolo" ed arredato con grande gusto (cambia a seconda delle stagioni) ma "grande" nell'offrire prodotti di alta qualità e selezionati con passione dalle due sorelle venete che hanno deciso di portare la loro tradizione culinaria e la loro ricerca del gusto (che spazia tra i sapori del Nord come delle rivisitazioni delle ricette tipiche dell'"intero stivale"). I piatti, per citare in chiave enogastronomia il film di Sorrentino, hanno tutti "una storia da raccontare", sapientemente raccontata da Sonia, bella da ascoltare e buona da mangiare, sapientemente cucinata da Barbara. Ottima la selezione di vini, ho gradito particolarmente anche il liquore all'amarena di fine cena, l'Agricanto. Locale assolutamente consigliato per provare un'esperienza di gusto, diversa e ricercata. Prezzi medio-alti ma assolutamente in linea con l'alta qualità dei prodotti offerti. Essendo il locale piccolo, si consiglia assolutamente la prenotazione: i pochi coperti garantiscono un'accoglienza e un'attenzione particolare per la propria cena. Complimenti a Sonia e Barbara e grazie per aver portato nelle nostre zone la loro tradizione.

09/03/2024: Locale molto colorato e accogliente. Atmosfera rilassante e cibo ottimo. Buonissima la birra artigianale. Ci tornerò sicuramente per un pranzo/ cena romantica.

27/11/2023: Locale molto accogliente , personale di sala cordiale e generoso, qualità del cibo eccellente il panino da me preso era molto grande sembrava di mangiare la testa di un cristiano 🤣🤣 il che a me personalmente non dispiace , ingredienti e sapore ottimi , tutto ben preparato, prezzo non eccessivo , gran bel locale davvero
