Today I learned that on Saturdays you shouldn't buy pastries. I asked for some small pastries and discovered once I opened the package that the sweets were at least from the day before. In any case this was the last time I go there. This is how you lose customers. If they were from the day I'm disappointed because they weren't that great.

For Father's Day, we had no doubt: their zeppole di San Giuseppe are the best in Portici! You can immediately taste the artisanal excellence: light choux pastry, velvety custard, and an authentic flavor that's rare these days. I had the opportunity to purchase 5 fried San Giuseppe zeppole. I have to say that I'm giving 3 stars only for the quality of the ingredients, but the zeppola, for its appearance, deserved 1 star! The zeppola was low, stuck, and didn't rise properly!!! I ask myself, "but if the zeppola can't rise properly and therefore is low and heavy, why put them on sale? Mistakes can be made, but the customer shouldn't be responsible for the mistake!!! I find it unfair, especially considering the €3.50 price tag, which, if someone pays and doesn't bat an eyelid, has the right to have a product worthy of the name!!!" As for the cream and black cherry, they were good and of high quality...but that's not all!!!!

The desserts are excellent, as is the coffee at the bar.

I happened to go to the pastry shop once. Everything was delicious, but it was a shame that the staff was a bit too rude. What really bothered me was that Mr. Trojer himself was so rude and impatient, at least with me. It's a shame, apparently, because I'm probably not a regular customer. Never mind.
