18/10/2025: By the sea, near the port of Casamiciola, I enjoyed a good bruschetta and a beer while watching the seagulls.

10/10/2025: Ate the most delicious pasta with rabbit, add in some fresh bread, local vegetables, olives and local white wine. A really relaxed lunch with an island feel. Staff were really friendly, the view was great and there is even local art by the family on display inside the restaurant.

19/09/2025: Vacation period from September 15th to 25th, as a couple. Characteristic place, fantastic views, beautiful clean sea, crystal clear waters, few free public beaches, small but clean and tidy. Private beaches are generally overpriced, especially considering our time of year. Parking and taxi fares for short trips are also too high. Even buses cost €5 per ticket for a 2km ride. It seems excessive to me. Very narrow and winding roads with significant climbs and descents, where even with a speed limit of 30km/h, residents (knowing the roads well) drive full blast, resulting in high risks on the curves, most of the time with no visibility. Also, for us, who are here in the S. Angelo area, 2km away. Getting there on foot is a challenge (especially for me, a 74-year-old who's just recently had a hip replacement) with steep inclines, and long, steep steps with steps higher than normal (like Lenten penances). Our hotel also has steps everywhere, no elevator, and it's certainly not wheelchair-accessible. So, all things considered, I don't think I'll be returning to Ischia unless I find a beachfront hotel with breakfast and dinner at a decent price that won't cost me a kidney for the stay! 🤭🙄😳😉

22/10/2025: A beautiful sea front restaurant with a patio on the island of Ischia, Italy. The location is superb, with a view of Naples across the bay, service is very attentive and the food quality unparalleled! Loved every aspect of my meals. I returned every day during my stay on the island. I highly recommend Bagno Tre Stelle!

02/12/2025: Their coniglio all'ischitana (rabbit stew) and parmigiana di melanzane (eggplant parmigiana) blew my mind! The rabbit stew had the tenderest meat that was moist, perfectly browned and caramelized—they parted from the bones with minimal effort and even came with delicious liver and blood vessel bits attached! The caramelized tomato sauce infused with the meat, innards, bones, sofrito and medley of herbs after stewing and reducing for hours, was perfectly balanced and packed with sweet and delicate umami flavors! The eggplant parmigiana was so buttery smooth, pillowy and savoury—it literally melted between my tongue and palate with my saliva! 😋

13/03/2026: Always delicious! The rotisserie chicken is fresh and fragrant, as are the skewers, pork neck, and porchetta! The side dishes are reminiscent of those you'd eat at an old friend's house... A special mention for the pizza!!! Peppe is fantastic! The prices are truly ridiculous! 100% recommended!

06/01/2026: My family and I had seen this place in passing every day on the way out of Porto when we caught the various busses to travel around the island. It fronts onto the busy road so is obviously very busy during the day. Do not, repeat NOT be put off by the location of this place, it is a fantastic little grill and the food is amazing and easy on the wallet. We had kebabs, chicken, fish, pizza, good God, so much really, really tasty food. Good service and friendly staff, what looks like a busy road side venue during the day turns into a great place to sit, relax and watch as people turn up to collect take away food. We didn't actually think we'd ordered that much, but had to take some home with us as we couldn't bear to leave it!!! To sum up, we spent a week on Ischia and dined all over the island, I can honestly say Antico Girarrosto Ischitano was by far the best place we had the pleasure to visit. Saluti Antico Girarrosto Ischitano!!!

16/12/2025: I think it's fair to say that this pizzeria/restaurant is a must-visit for Ischia residents. The place is simple and welcoming, and the staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The fried foods are delicious, the pizza is good, and the meat is excellent. Fair prices.

10/09/2025: I had a fantastic dinner here, the service was brilliant and the food was absolutely delicious. The setting was very romantic, we were lucky there was a thunder storm and were able to see lightening over our beautiful dinner. I had the rabbit ravioli as a main and it was absolutely delightful, and my husband had a delicious beef dish. I feel it was very reasonably priced, I’ve dined at Michelin starred restaurants that have charged much more but delivered far less. It was a gorgeous evening ❤️ thank you zi nannina

09/09/2025: A restaurant not to be missed if you're passing through Ischia. Breathtaking views of the sea and the Castello Aragonese. Everything is perfect for a romantic lunch or dinner. Refined cuisine featuring local produce. A menu to suit all tastes and impeccable service. A restaurant to discover without hesitation. You have to search a little to find this wonderful place, which is truly worth the detour.

19/09/2025: I preferred the old management... higher prices.. not at all satisfied, smelly octopus and dishes served different from what we had ordered.. making excuses and climbing the mirrors without even apologizing only the environment is saved for the rest it is to be avoided a first course paid 30 euros but it absolutely did not deserve it paying a very high bill for three people.. sorry but as long as this management is there 🤦🤦🤦🤦 mom mj

20/09/2025: Small, family-run beach resort. Fantastic little beach and the option to have lunch on the sand. Delicious traditional Neapolitan and Ischian dishes, all prepared with fresh, authentic ingredients. Friendly and welcoming...a place I always love to return to! Don't miss the bruschetta and spaghetti with clams!
