13/11/2025: Unspeakable! Terrible service, waiters with no desire to work, one in particular was unfriendly and arrogant! Disgusting food, paying €45 for a menu and not being satisfied with that price...we all earn our money here, everyone should do their job to the best of their ability. I'll end this review with regards to the cleanliness of the dishes...UNSPEAKABLE!

02/11/2025: A charming place... and knowledgeable staff, skilled at suggesting what to try. Unfortunately, aside from the meat (good and high-quality), everything else was mediocre... The appetizers featured some winning combinations, but the ingredients weren't up to par (rubbery mozzarella). The first course had too many spices and parsley, obscuring the true flavor of the dish, and a thin layer of lard on top that hadn't even melted (lardiata). In short, many dishes were well thought out, but executed a bit sloppily and with ingredients that weren't up to par. It could definitely improve.

19/10/2025: A terrible experience, not to be repeated. We arrived around 2:00 PM and, truth be told, we were greeted with a glass of rosé and a small portion of potato chips. Naturally, they told us to wait a bit since we hadn't booked, rightfully so. After about 30 minutes, they seated us outside, but in full sunlight. We were served a welcome portion of tripe and lupini beans ("just the right amount of calloused"). Since it was a particularly sunny day, we asked to move to a more shaded area, and so far so good (they finally moved us into the shade). From this point on, they started to lose points: we asked for a Nerano and it wasn't available, and a bottle of Lacryma Christi, also on the menu, wasn't available either. Between one zeppolina and the next, flies reigned supreme. After one appetizer each, a good two hours passed, so I decided to ask for the bill, since there wasn't even a hint of a starter. At this point, when I asked for the bill, the waitress asked if the starters had arrived. When I denied it, the waitress replied that they were about to "come out." Well, we waited another two or three minutes, and finally the first courses came out. Oh no, it was too good to be true... Only one first course arrived (pappardelle with mushrooms). We had to wait another ten minutes for the other (a Genovese). The pappardelle were generally good and blended well with the sauce, but the Genovese had some of the meat stolen on the way. I asked for the bill again, and at least they were quick about that. To try to make up for the poor impression, they offered us a taste of the Caprese salad. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible given the truly infernal wait times. A real shame, because the products used aren't bad, but the kitchen's time management was terrible. Customers like this go elsewhere. Best regards. P.S. Action needs to be taken regarding the really persistent flies outside.

Every detail was taken care of with a passion and professionalism that exceeded all expectations. ​The atmosphere, the exquisite food, the impeccable preparation of the buffet... everything was perfect. A special thanks to Sasy, who does this job with heart and guided us with infinite patience through every decision we made, even through the countless changes. Her discreet yet constant presence throughout the ceremony was a great comfort to us. ​Heartfelt thanks to all the staff, to Martina, the Director, and to Rosaria, who so thoughtfully thought of saving a slice of our wedding cake for us. ​We would also like to mention Carlo and Fabiano, exceptional professionals we were fortunate enough to meet through you. Carlo, with his incredible sensitivity, was able to move all our guests during the civil ceremony, leaving an unforgettable memory. And Fabiano chose musicians who delighted our guests with a perfect soundtrack. It's thanks to all of you that, days later, our friends and family continue to talk to us about how fantastic and wonderful our wedding was. Thank you for everything.

02/09/2025: The beach resort is well-maintained, with well-maintained loungers and umbrellas. But the restrooms are a different story. They're poorly maintained, with non-functioning toilets, missing toilet paper, and extremely poorly maintained, if at all. One of the toilets, where the flush doesn't work, was left open all day and in a disgraceful state. The sinks were child-sized, and the soap dispensers were empty except for one. Given the state of the restrooms, I think they need renovations, as the facility is losing too much.

11/11/2025: I've been frequenting this restaurant for a while now, and every time I leave the evening feeling happy and satisfied. The atmosphere is familiar, like being at home, not to mention Luigi, who seems like a lifelong friend, always thoughtful and attentive to his guests' needs. I've been to several places, but it's hard to find chicken that's never stringy, always cooked to perfection, and has a unique flavor (I ate Jamaican chicken at Luigi's for the first time... exquisite). Every time I visit, I'm torn between the chicken and the turkey, as both have a unique fragrance and flavor—to put it simply, they're truly delicious. I highly recommend Gardenia both for the excellent quality of the food and for the friendliness of Luigi and his entire family. See you soon.

02/11/2025: The Gardenia restaurant is an excellent place for adults and children, from pizza to spit-roasted chicken, the tastiest is the Jamaican one, with a restaurant following, naturally pasta and potatoes with provola, and anything else is on request.

30/10/2025: The staff is very friendly and can speak a little English. The food was fresh and delicious.

12/10/2025: A corner of good food and pizza at reasonable prices. What surprised me most was the quality of the products. The meat, from steak to burgers, was also delicious.

08/05/2025: Central location in Varcaturo on Via Ripuaria, good food done well. Even the fried fish is worth it! The owner is very kind and welcoming. Also good for a quick lunch.

12/03/2025: High-quality products that are always fresh, dishes always with delicate flavors, prepared with care and attention to detail, I recommend it to everyone for lunch or dinner, in a quiet and pleasant place, the owners are friendly and helpful.

30/09/2025: First, the positive: "We really enjoyed the food. One waitress struck me as very positive and friendly. Unfortunately, today was my last day. Otherwise, I would have come back. The waiter was quite impatient and dismissive, which really spoiled the evening. There are really such nice people here, and you always get along with each other with gestures. Well... Prices seem reasonable."

27/08/2025: Excellent experience. Exceptional mussels, fresh fish, excellent pizzas, and excellent value. The best part is Massimo's presence, who with his English humor is truly invaluable, professional, and helpful. I recommend it.

14/08/2025: We wanted to try the rocket pizzas, but honestly, they seemed like pizzas from the 90s. Dry dough. Croquette pizza is light years away from a real croquette pizza... I'm sorry, but I don't recommend it.

07/07/2025: The pizza from LA RUGHETTA is difficult to explain, you have to eat it, I still haven't found anyone who beats it, it's delicious, very light, the dough is divine... I give it a 10 out of 10 rating.

05/10/2025: The food is sublime. We enjoyed the appetizers, the grilled fish, and the seafood pasta. Everything was delicious from start to finish. The dessert was fabulous. I highly recommend this restaurant.

04/10/2025: A very simple place, we received a warm welcome. All the appetizers were very good, and I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent fried cod main course. I would return.

28/08/2025: The waiter was rude, he didn't even apologize for the service he offered us! 3 spritzes WITHOUT ICE, which we asked for as an extra. He was clearly getting them from the supermarket—the pre-made ones, that is. As a lady, I went to pay, and the price was €20 for three spritzes… €6 per person and €2 for the cover charge per person, but the math didn't add up, and he said he rounded up the price 😅😂 Terrible quality

24/07/2025: Chi scrive è un ristoratore e direttore di noti ristoranti del Nord Italia e Sommelier Mi sono recato in questo locale invitato da amici che da qualche tempo mi dicevano di provare questo ristorante molto frequentato, con il senno di poi penso che questi amici non si sono mai allontanati da Giugliano e dintorni. Mi presentano il menù food e devo dire molto ricco e proposte giuste , anche se guardandomi intorno si vedevono solo zuppe di cozze di tutti i tipi. Chiedo la carta dei vini e mi portano una copertina con all’interno tre fogli spillati per un totale di 15/20 vini . Chiedo un fiano colli di lapio e mi dicono che non cè , chiedo un fiano antonio Caggiamo e mi viene detto che era finito , chiedo un greco Benito Ferrara , indovinate la risposta … finito . Ad un certo punto dico ma mi dici cos’hai e mi propone un fiano mai sentito decantandolo… all’assaggio penso un vino più schifoso di quello non l’ho mai bevuto, subito io ed i altri amici che lo asssggiano avvertiamo un bruciore dello stomaco . Chiamo il capo cameriere e mi dice che il vino è buono e non presenta vizi , senza assaggiarlo, mi dispiace che esistono ancora camerieri che non sanno come comportarsi con i clienti , nei miei locali il cliente viene sempre accontentato , se mi porti un vino dal valore commerciale al max di 2€ non puoi dire che non presenta difetti di tappo od altro ma il difetto è proprio il vino che non può essere essere proposto , sono tornato a casa per prendere del malox . Avete un bel locale , si mangia mediamente bene ma fidatevi o prendete un sommelier altrimenti vendete la birra e coca cola.

06/07/2025: Ci sono stata di sabato, incontro di famiglia. Abbiamo preso la loro famosa zuppa di cozze e la sorpresa è stata piacevole davvero, per il sapore, la qualità e l’abbondanza degli ingredienti. Il responsabile di sala, Graziano, è competente e gentile e ci ha garantito sulla sicurezza di una delle zuppe - la mia - che non doveva essere contaminata dal polpo, per una severa allergia e, difatti, sono qui a scrivere… Ottimi anche il baccalà in tempura, la tartare di ricciola e i dolci che abbiamo preso. Locale pienissimo, con subitaneo avvicendamento di clienti ma, nonostante ciò, il personale è stato efficiente e cortese. Chi ha pagato ha trovato ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Da ritornarci, sicuramente!

18/08/2025: Neapolitan pizzeria with a capital N. There were 5 of us, we had an appetizer, 5 pizzas, 2 draft beers, 5 cokes, 2 waters, 2 meloncelli, a limoncello, and 3 coffees... total 100 euros... a great price... you will find friendliness and professionalism. Try it, they accept credit cards.

18/07/2025: A group of friends went to this pizzeria to catch up after a long time apart. We found a room full of people with their children screaming like crazy. It was impossible to have a conversation, so much so that we came back with sore throats. There was only one waitress, assisted by another who came in sporadically, and no one in authority to ask these people to lower their voices. We were basically at a market. The appetizers were very good, but I would have something to say about the pizzas, which were poor in ingredients. Would I go back? Definitely NOT!
