04/05/2025: We noticed this lovely restaurant while going up towards Villa Jovis, so it was also recommended to us by a local, so on the way back down we stopped and luckily we immediately found two places. We had two first courses of the day, one better than the other, as well as the second course and the lemon delight, but we have reason to believe, from what we saw being served at the other tables, that the rest of the menu was also excellent. Professional but at the same time easy-going staff. Pleasant location and lively atmosphere. Compliments to all the staff.

02/05/2025: A simply fantastic meal from start to finish. The pasta was out of this world. We were in Capri for our honeymoon and can not recommend this restaurant enough. Our only regret was we had to leave!

08/02/2025: I was here on a summer evening for my girlfriend's birthday. One of the best dining experiences of our life. I can't say which course was the best among those we ate, from tagliolini with prawns and gin and tonic, to tortelli filled with cheese and pepper with mussels and lime. Each dish was anticipated by our extreme curiosity to taste it and if our stomachs had been able to, we would have tasted everything. The impeccability of the service was disarming, from the choice of wine cordially guided by a very expert sommelier, to the chocolates brought to us to break the wait for dessert. Capri, for me and my girlfriend, was a special place thanks also to this restaurant. We will absolutely be back.

Carlo the owner is a truly welcoming and very courteous person. Thanks also to the very kind Sami who served us at the table with such professionalism. We will certainly be back with great pleasure. 12/05/2025: The price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all, a Spaghetti Vongole for 35 euros is already an announcement and it also tasted mediocre. The terrace is very nice and has a great view, but you have to pay extra for that too. To reach the restaurant you have to walk about 20 minutes from the center of Capri through narrow streets, which can be very nice because you see many small houses that you don't get to see.

11/05/2025: Exceptional restaurant! First of all, you have to earn the meal since from the center of Capri, it is about fifteen minutes of walking uphill. But it's definitely worth it: very, very friendly staff, magnificent view, we had free focaccia as an aperitif, and the meal was very good! We had the ravioli and eggplant pasta. To finish in style: the limoncello cream dessert was delicious. It’s an authentic Italian atmosphere. Remember to book 😀

14/05/2025: Very nice place to relax and eat something. Compared to the rest of the restaurants good prices. On the square 100 meters from the restaurant there is a shop where they give free pralines called Nino.

10/05/2025: ㄹㅇ The pizza of life is much more delicious than the famous pizza restaurants in Naples. Even though I took it out and ate it at the hotel, it was absolutely delicious🥹

06/05/2025: TOURIST TRAP DO NOT GO! My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and had a reservation. The host was extremely rude sitting us at a table in the far back of the restaurant where you could not see the view (which was the whole reason we chose this restaurant). Because we were the first guests in the restaurant we asked to be seated with a view and were told no and that only guests who pay 150 euros per person could sit at those tables. In addition, every other table received bread baskets except us and were given more attention because they spoke Italian. The pizza topping were fine but the crust was burnt and tasted like cigarette ashes. Absolute disappointment and definitely not worth the price.

The menu was extensive, offering a tempting selection of traditional pasta, pizzas, and fresh seafood. Every dish was expertly prepared, bursting with flavor. Service was prompt and friendly, making for a pleasant dining experience. However, the atmosphere felt a tad too simple, lacking the cozy ambiance that would have truly elevated the evening. Pricing is more than reasonable.

24/04/2025: April 2025 Excellent place less than 10 minutes from the Piazzetta Centrale of Capri where you can eat with an excellent quality-price ratio accessible compared to many other places on the island. Fresh fish. Excellent fried calamari and shrimp and excellent pizza.

12/10/2024: On a recent trip to wonderful Capri (September 2024), we were fortunate enough to dine at the D’Amore restaurant, which has an exquisite and beautiful atmosphere! My wife and I were very well attended to, with excellent cordiality and attention from the Chef and Carmeriere. They did not spare any “treats” in the appetizers and the meal was spectacular, in quality, delicious and magical aromas and flavors, magnificent wine list (I chose wines from the Campanha Region). The dessert was also a show in itself! I recommend it to everyone!

04/10/2024: No need to visit. Food is unfortunately not delicious at all. The bread was good though:)
