21/06/2025: I came across this pizzeria by pure chance two months ago, when my car broke down and I had to walk home from Caserta station. I was so hungry that I finally found this pizzeria in a quiet area of ​​the city. I went in and was greeted by kind and polite staff, who proudly emphasized the fact that they had recently redone the menu and recommended some pizzas that they had just added to it. Since then it has become my go-to place whenever I feel like eating pizza. I usually take it to go but just yesterday I was with a dear Spanish friend and I said to myself "why not take him there instead of ending up in the classic super-well-known Caserta pizzerias?". Divine pizzas, ditto the tiramisu, clean place and staff who paid us special attention (in the main room there was a party full of children, they made us sit in the back to be more quiet and I must say that this detail was much appreciated). Lastly, the price: ridiculously low, I actually think that the quality-price ratio can easily be considered one of their strong points. What can I say: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place if you want to try a great pizza, accompanied by excellent beers and desserts. A great discovery.

Personale cortese e disponibile a partire dal proprietario "Marco" , che attraverso la sua professionalità ai fornelli , riesce a stupirti attraverso l'utilizzo di materie prime di alta qualità , preparando piatti semplici ma gustosi . Se vi trovate nelle vicinanze, consiglio assolutamente una visita . Hops dimenticavo . Ottima qualità /prezzo

It's tasty and very digestible, and both the classic and more elaborate pizzas are truly special. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. A significant plus: there's also a play area (separate from the dining room) for children up to 10 years old, so you can enjoy your pizza in complete tranquility. This is a pizzeria you absolutely must try.

30/07/2025: A pochi passi dal centro di Caserta potrai trovare Pepenero un ristorante e pizzeria che merita una sosta. Il locale è moderno, ben curato e accogliente. Il personale è gentile e attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Il menù è veramente qualcosa di unico. Pepenero offre un'ampia scelta di antipasti, primi e secondi di mare e di terra realizzati con prodotti freschi e buona qualità. La cucina di Pepenero non è solo tipica casertana ma si potranno trovare dei buonissimi piatti realizzati con le eccellenze del territorio italiano. Pepenero non è solo ristorante ma anche pizzeria. Oltre alla classica pizza napoletana potrai assaggiare le pizze cotte nei "routiello" con degli abbinamenti azzeccati e veramente unici. Ottimi anche i dolci, oltre al babá e alla delizia al limone, consiglio il mandorlato. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

04/05/2025: A familiar, good quality product, freshly made in front of customers and family-run. It is a perfect place if you are passing through Caserta and looking for a quick, local meal, especially if in a hurry or to grab on the fly. I leave four stars on food and environment mainly for two reasons: the place is very small and with groups of many people it can be difficult to sit without being cramped and, unfortunately, the fried pizza I got had some cooking defects and was crunchier than I would expect. Despite this, I think it is an excellent product and I would recommend giving it a try based also on what was said previously.

We thought we'd ordered a salad with rice, etc. Salad was also on the menu, but unfortunately, we got cold rice with peas and carrots, which I actually enjoyed, but it wasn't anything special, just a mediocre meal. My husband ordered a gluten-free pizza, which unfortunately wasn't so good. The edges of the pizza were crispy, but the dough in the middle felt like it wasn't cooked properly... I don't think it's for everyone; it's made to a high standard.

I ordered pasta with clams, which didn't taste of clams at all: it tasted like a dish of tomato sauce and black pepper, completely unbalanced in flavor. Tasteless cuisine, reflecting neither the quality nor the price. A truly disappointing experience. I won't be returning, nor would I recommend it to anyone.
