23/06/2025: Rural place, all in stone, fresh and picturesque. Sublime dishes. Their king are porcini mushrooms. From the appetizer to the bitter and coffee a festival of flavors. You have to try it, I recommend it..

08/07/2025: Beautiful setting overlooking the Sala square. Marco, the owner, is incredibly kind and humble. The sauces, including cheddar, are good quality compared to the usual industrial cheese. Good-quality meat and artisanal-cut potatoes in a sandwich with a delicious caciocavallo cheese.
The prices are truly modest for the quality offered. In short, the best for a quiet evening in the village. My girlfriend and I will be back! 🖤

26/06/2025: In Serino, in a place to know otherwise difficult to reach if not with the navigator. But do not be fooled by the external appearance of the place, inside small, with 9 or 10 tables, but elegant and welcoming. Here I ate some really excellent seafood scialatielli in addition to appreciating other good fish dishes and the cordiality and kindness of Gennaro, impeccable manager and always ready to please the customers. We will return with great pleasure also to try one of their inventions: ravioli with mussels and porcini mushrooms.

It would have been appropriate to decline our reservation ...
The cost of a boiled artichoke, 15.00 euros, is excessive....

04/08/2025: An excellent experience at La Tornola. The dishes were exquisite, top-quality, from the starters to the main courses. The service was good and friendly. The restaurant is nestled in the greenery of Serino. I highly recommend it. The tagliatelle with mushrooms was my favorite dish. The house wine and amaro were also noteworthy.

22/07/2025: We stumbled upon this place while passing through and had a great time. Besides offering a wide range of starters, it seems to me to be essentially a grill restaurant with a large section of the menu dedicated to special cuts and types of meat. We shrugged our heels and ordered a very fresh seafood appetizer, followed by a mixed roast of meat, fish, lamb, and tuna, with sides of broccoli, potatoes, and mushrooms. The dishes were huge, and even though we enjoyed everything, we couldn't finish them. The service was no-frills but efficient. The bathrooms were clean and the bill was fair.

24/07/2025: Rooms were rough, broken, and full of dust, even after being cleaned.
Very poor service, arrogant and haughty. The waiters were extremely rude, as were the owners. The hotel was completely neglected, the pool in terrible condition, filled with regular, unchlorinated water and full of animals and leaves. When we asked to have it cleaned, the owner replied that it wasn't his problem, but ours.
No service at the bar; there was never anyone behind the counter. Same thing at reception.
I and other people were left in the elevator, and again, the problem wasn't theirs, also because there wasn't enough room for the technician, and we had to make do by saying we had exceeded the weight limit (800+ kg), when in reality there were three of us.

25/08/2024: Siamo stati accolti da un cameriere poco disponibile all'ascolto, il cibo era appena passabile, le tagliatelle ben cotte ma condite pochissimo, la tagliata portata a tavola era cruda e la pietra cuoceva poco e solo da un lato. Mi son dovuta alzare per girare la carne, affinchè si cuocesse, chiedere una piastra ben cotta e spostare su questa la tagliata per far cuocere il tutto. Prezzi non corrispondenti alla quantità di quanto servito. Non ci torneremo più.

21/04/2025: In occasione della Pasqua abbiamo trascorso con la famiglia una piacevolissima giornata in questo posto. Posto ideale per i bambini , cibo di qualità e cucinato veramente bene nonostante la gran quantità di gente presente. Personale educatissimo e attento a ogni nostra esigenza .ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Sicuramente torneremo
