Despite the old age, I had been going there for years because it made up for it with abundant appetizers and good meat. The last time I was there and also the last, he showed me a one and a half kilo Florentine steak but the meat that arrived cooked was anything but, meager appetizers and dirty plates and cutlery. Bad experience, never again. Not recommended. In Mercogliano there are many other modern places, with excellent cuisine and service.

Hot ricottas much appreciated, crunchy bread, good lean but not dry meat and the first course with fusilli al dente and well tied, good value for money. We'll be back.

04/08/2024: I put One star, just for that matter. I returned after a few years, remembering that the food was good and plentiful. Unfortunately, the quality has now drastically deteriorated. The portions are paltry, and the wait was interminable: four hours for an appetizer, a first course, a second course and a coffee for four people. The food was disappointing. The appetizer was made up of poor quality products and in small quantities. The second course, a mixture of meat, was truly unsatisfactory: half a sausage, a small piece of lamb with more bone than meat and a small piece of pork chop, all overcooked and dry. I couldn't eat it. The only dish I liked was the first. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was so bad that I won't go back again. I highly recommend this restaurant.
