08/02/2026: Five minutes from Laceno. The food is excellent; the grill is the highlight, but the other dishes are equally as good. The service is impeccable, and the location is truly beautiful. The only small drawback, but it's not their fault, is that I struggled a bit to find parking.

28/02/2026: Irpinia excellence! The owner and staff were prompt and attentive, kind, and accommodating, especially considering I was traveling with two small children. The food? Spectacular, the fusilli with wild boar were excellent.
18/02/2026: If you're near Lake Laceno, Ristorante Lo Spiedo is a must-visit! A warm and rustic atmosphere, perfect mountain style, and truly delicious traditional Irpinia dishes. Generous appetizers, flavorful first courses, and perfectly cooked meats.
Friendly service, a family atmosphere, and excellent value. Ideal after a day on the lake or in the mountains. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

02/03/2026: Excellent agriturismo, located in the Irpinia countryside, the staff is smiling and polite, the dishes are locally sourced, all well-served and in just the right quantities. The price is fair.
I recommend it, I'll gladly return.

20/10/2025: The chestnut pastries I bought in the square, while nice-looking, tasted moldy. Nothing like the ones I've bought elsewhere. And three different items: a swirl, a piece of tart, and a sfogliatella.
19/10/2025: Renovated, very nice place.
Desserts a bit disappointing: 2 trays of
Castagnole bought directly from the pastry shop, a bit old, at least 2 days old. €20 per kg. The chestnut tart was tasteless. €1.50 per piece.

24/11/2025: Food prepared without love, just to fill your stomach. For example, in the pappardelle with mushrooms we found pieces of undissolved stock cube..... The mushrooms were full of water..... the waiters stand near the tables while you eat and listen to what you say while watching you eat, truly inconvenient.
01/11/2025: Disappointing experience. We asked for a three-course appetizer in the center of the table, and three dishes arrived. Without even a minimum amount of preparation, it was very poor.
The first courses were inedible: tagliatelle full of water, paccheri with sausage that smelled like frozen turkey sausage, it stank... we abstained from the second courses, thankfully.
Not to mention the smell coming from the kitchen, typical of when you open a garbage can. Never again...

19/01/2026: I called the facility to inquire about a weekend getaway. The gentleman on the phone, in a curt tone to say the least, said he couldn't accommodate us because there were already too many children in the facility, and therefore our kids would be too many. A terrible impression.
08/01/2026: Terrible reception. As soon as I called to make a reservation, a person with an elderly voice told me they didn't accept children.
This was after I told him I had a disabled child and wanted to know if the facility was suitable for one.
I don't recommend it, because children are treated the same as pets, even though in my opinion, they shouldn't be treated as such.
Perhaps the problem isn't the children, but the disabled people who are the problem with this facility.

20/01/2025: Ci siamo fermati la prima volta per caso, anno scorso, il locale stava chiudendo, ma il proprietario, fu gentile e ci servì comunque qualcosa da mangiare. Da quel momento non lo abbiamo più lasciato. Adoro il Laceno e Bagnoli Irpino, posti dove rinfrancano anima e ogni tanto ci va di passarci qualche giorno. È questo locale è diventata la nostra "tradizione". Per me non è possibile passare di lì e non fermarmi per pranzo o cena. Abbiamo qualche volta anche trovato tanta gente, ma proprio perché è valido. Ma comunque, anche ieri con una cerimonia in atto, tanta gente e senza prenotazione, devo dire che siamo stati serviti bene ed anche velocemente... O almeno nella norma. Il cibo è fatto al momento, quindi è naturale attendere un poco, specie se pieno di persone. Ma ci si va anche per rilassarsi, non per cronometrare i camerieri e i cuochi, che fanno del loro neglio. È a conduzione familiare da quello che ho capito e sono affabili e cercano sempre di accontentare. Mi piace l' ambiente. Gli gnocchetti al tartufo o la tagliatella (mangiata ieri) al tartufo è qualcosa di sublime per me. Amo il tartufo e qui lo degusto eccellentemente. Ottima anche la carne, abbondante il contorno, pane fresco, gentilezza e ormai io e il mio compagno da Napoli, apprezziamo sempre e da sempre questo luogo. Prezzi contenuti... Posto pulito, ordinato, Ma cosa volere di più? Consigliatissimo
12/01/2025: Ci siamo fermati per caso vista l'ora di pranzo... e devo dire mai scelta più azzeccata! Proprio la cucina che ti aspetti, gustosa e casalinga, tipica dell'Irpinia. Tutto molto abbondante e soprattutto di qualità. Ravioli al ragù spettacolari, lo stesso le Pappardelle al Cinghiale e quelle ai Funghi. Profiteroles e Delizia al caffè gustose. Veramente complimenti... Sarà una tappa fissa al passaggio in queste zone. Prezzi contenutissimi... un antipasto, tre primi, bibite e due dolci solo 62€ coperto incluso...

01/05/2025: Menù scarso e prezzi astronomici! 2 fette di crudo con una mozzarella 7€. I primi al tartufo sapevano di solo burro! Locale antiquato. Personale in "borghese" ma cortese.

23/09/2024: Consigliatissimo! Posizione fenomenale, locale carino e cibo la cola davvero ottimo. Ci hanno colpito le orecchiette al tegamino e i paccheri al lago sensazionali. Inoltre davvero economico rispetto alla media!
26/08/2024: Personalmente mi sono trovato bene. Ci hanno fatto pranzare anche se non avevamo prenotato, i piatti che abbiamo consumato non erano per niente male e il proprietario ci ha anche offerto il caffè. Ottimi i paccheri con il tartufo, salsiccia e zafferano 😊
