19/10/2025: Exceptional desserts! First time stopping here for five pieces of dessert, nothing short of a fabulous show! I'll definitely be back, plus the friendly service.

19/08/2025: I went to this pastry shop for breakfast with my boyfriend, but unfortunately I wasn't satisfied. The croissant didn't convince me, especially considering it's a pastry shop, and the cappuccino was also small in quantity. The open counter is certainly well-maintained, but if the service isn't up to par and the quality isn't convincing, it's hard to want to return. In fact, after that breakfast, I didn't order anything else. The quality-price ratio needs reconsidering. I wouldn't go back.

13/09/2025: Everything about our experience at l'Orangerie was excellent! The ambiance begins as you approach the restaurant through the the pool area warmly illuminated with candles. We are reminded of the deep history of this special place as we pass by a small section of exposed ancient Roman ruins upon which the Hotel was built. The restaurant staff was highly professional, kind and very attentive. Equally high praise to the Chef and the entire kitchen team for the preparation and presentation of a fantastic culinary experience that pleased us on every level. Grazie mille l'Orangerie!!

30/08/2025: The food was mediocre at best! Service was really bad! We got the vegetarian pasta which was slightly undercooked and the fish with potatoes which was tasting ok but a little chewy. The overall service was horrible! We had 3 different servers asking us for food and each of them had no idea what we had ordered so it was a chaos. It showered last night which is not their fault and to be be fair they moved us to a covered space but only after insisting a few times. There was light flickering on the side which spoilt the whole "vibe" of the "fancy" restaurant. The complimentary bread which we got felt "stale" and "chewy". I would expect to get fresh warm bread when I am paying so much price for the food. They seem to make the food and experience so "pricey" but the experience which they offer in return is terrible! Would not recommend again.

12/12/2025: We stopped by this bakery/gluten-free shop on our way back from Cilento, and I have to say I was very pleased. Unfortunately, much of their lactose-free products are made with soy milk, which I can't eat. However, from what I was able to get, the dough was exceptional. A special mention for the graffa, which, even when eaten the next day, was soft and not at all greasy. My only suggestion would be to find lactose-free products, not just plant-based ones, with soy milk for those like me who can't eat them. Highly recommended!

26/08/2025: A welcoming and well-maintained restaurant, combining taste and a convivial atmosphere in the heart of Cesinali. The cuisine offers flavorful dishes, made with fresh and carefully selected ingredients. The pizza is excellent, fragrant and easy to digest, and the traditional dishes reinterpreted with a modern twist are also very interesting. The friendly and attentive staff are always available to offer recommendations. A good selection of wines and craft beers. A place definitely worth a try and sure to make you want to return.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to unwind. A special shout-out to Asia, the bartender, whose professionalism and friendly charm made the night unforgettable.

15/11/2025: We had a wonderful experience drinking some very fine (and some adventurous) cocktails. Asia made us feel very welcome and has a great talent for flavor. Highly recommend if you have some spare time.

05/10/2025: The home cooking is excellent, everything from the appetizers to the first courses is top-notch. The mixed meats are fabulous, and the freshly cooked potatoes are delicious. The extra pasta service for the little girl was also excellent.

29/10/2025: Service: The staff were standoffish and pushy, hovering to take our order before we had even looked at the menu. They continued to push the tasting menu despite our clear preference to share à la carte. Several staff members stood around watching guests’ every move, creating an uncomfortable environment. Despite so many staff waiting idly, service dropped off considerably once we ordered. Ambience: The space felt cold and uninviting – bright overhead lights, teal floors, and a few awkwardly spaced tables in the center made it resemble a cafeteria more than a restaurant. The room had an echo that only heightened the lack of warmth or atmosphere. With harsh lighting reflecting off the glass windows, there was no view to enjoy – only glare. View (or lack thereof): When we asked to sit outside on a clear, mild evening (around 65°F / 18°C), we were told the terrace was closed for the winter (early October). Given that other nearby restaurants had outdoor seating open with blankets or heaters, this seemed more like a choice of convenience than necessity. Food: The food was fine but unremarkable. The menu sounded more creative than what was actually served, and none of the dishes stood out. Prices were reasonable for Positano, but the overall experience was disappointing. I would not recommend dining here, even for those staying at the hotel.

04/10/2025: The food, service, and view are excellent. There are several tasting menus to choose from as well as à la carte and the wine list is well conceived and well priced. The entrance to the restaurant is a bit strange, as it is a hotel and the restaurant is down one floor from the lobby. Unfortunately, there was no one to greet us when we arrived, but we found our way. The one issue we had was the room itself. While the view is incomparable, the decor is dated and a bit sterile. Feels more like a wedding hall than a Michelin star restaurant. Once the tables filled in, it was a bit warmer, but the room could really stand a makeover. Food has a decidedly French flair and everything was perfectly cooked, perfectly served, and beautifully explained. Overall very enjoyable.

07/12/2025: Disappointed by the decline of the restaurant... we used to eat well and spend a fair amount... Today, the food quality is poor (at least in the tasting menus) and the service is poor. The only redeeming feature is the beautiful location, which allows you to fully enjoy a day outdoors near the sea (which is no small thing), but as far as the restaurant goes... it's a total fail! Eliminate the tasting menus, and focus on à la carte options, offering a few fresh items... at least that's my opinion.
