17/08/2025: If I had to find just one word to describe this review, I'd say "Go!" The place is located in a square, and if you go during the day, there are umbrellas so you can eat in the shade. It's a family-run restaurant, and everyone is incredibly friendly. The food is simple in ingredients, but exquisite in flavor. The price, as you can see from the photo, is very reasonable for the quality of the fish and the food. There's even free parking just a few steps from the restaurant, among the many nearby streets. I highly recommend going, and I'll definitely be back as soon as I can. I also recommend the tuna and mint pasta, because it's a combination you're unlikely to find elsewhere. If you're still deciding, call and book—don't worry.

13/08/2025: We had dinner that evening with appetizers of octopus, fried fish, and mixed fried local pasta with tomato sauce. Unfortunately, the octopus wasn't fresh... The fish were acceptable but definitely not the freshest. The pasta was mediocre. Prices were average. We definitely won't be returning.

01/09/2025: A dreamy atmosphere right by the sea. We had a reservation for the afternoon of June 2025 and got the best table in the evening. What a view! The best tomato sauce (Paccheri al pomodoro) ever, and the marinara pizza was also world-class. The meat was also good, but not as unique as the pizza and pasta. Unfortunately, the table service was very unfriendly, but the cashier and other staff were very okay.

The service is another strong point: professional, attentive, and just the right amount of friendly, capable of accompanying the experience without being intrusive but with constant care for the guest. It's that discreet yet effective presence that makes guests feel welcomed and well-attended. The kitchen offers refined dishes, never overdone, with appropriate portions and a structure that highlights each ingredient without overpowering it. The atmosphere is refined, pleasant, and well-attended, confirming the restaurant's reputation as a go-to destination for those who love authentic seafood, the kind that comes from the sea to the table without compromise. Regarding desserts: truly excellent, all homemade. The tiramisu deserves a special mention—creamy, balanced, and perfect for a sweet end to an already satisfying meal. As for the bill, the prices are in line with the quality and service, fair and never overpriced. This difficult balance makes Re Baldovino a must-have. In short: a restaurant that combines seafood, expertise, and authenticity. A must-visit for those who love well-crafted seafood cuisine, with a genuine soul and capable hands.

05/11/2025: Beautiful place...found "by chance" just off the highway. Clean and well-maintained, welcoming, and intimate. Delicious food and excellent service. If I'm ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

19/10/2025: The night before leaving, we noticed this bakery and pastry shop, especially for the aroma wafting from it. The next morning, we stopped for breakfast. They even had a coin-operated coffee machine, brioches with cream and Genovese, a bag of bread, a pane cunzato, and a bread filled with white ragù, and a bag of mixed dry pastries—all truly delicious. The owner let us try a fig cookie and gave us a bag of Reginella for the trip. Everyone was kind and professional. If I return to Palermo, I'll definitely come back.

16/08/2025: The restaurant is truly delicious! Every dish, from appetizer to dessert, was a discovery of authentic and carefully crafted flavors. The only downside is the lack of staff in the dining room: the two girls who were very quick and kind, but clearly couldn't cover all the tables. Despite this, the experience was pleasant and the food is absolutely worth a try!

16/10/2025: Last week I came here with a friend for pizza, wanting something different than usual. The experience wasn't bad, but my problem was the service. When I went to pay, I was told that both pizzas plus drinks were €24, then the clerk told me €29. The cashier said exactly €24, so I was forced to pay €29. I will never go back to this place again.

19/10/2025: A truly disappointing experience. The prices are completely disproportionate to the quality: I understand the "table service" approach, but it doesn't justify such high prices at all: basically, a lady brings cappuccinos and pastries without even asking who they're for, placing them haphazardly on the table. The quality of the products is terrible: the cappuccino didn't even have foam on top, the brioche was rubbery, and the cake was industrially made. I don't understand how they can charge artisanal pastry prices for products that seem like they're bought at the supermarket. Not recommended, especially if you're looking for something truly good and local.
