24/01/2025: Entrare in questa pasticceria è come fare un tuffo in un mondo di dolcezza e raffinatezza. L’atmosfera è accogliente, curata nei minimi dettagli, con un profumo di burro e vaniglia che ti avvolge appena varchi la soglia. Il personale è gentile, sorridente e sempre pronto a consigliare le specialità della casa. Ho acquistato una torta di compleanno in questa pasticceria, e devo dire che è stata un’esperienza che ha superato ogni aspettativa. La torta, al momento del ritiro, era semplicemente stupenda: una creazione elegante, curata nei minimi dettagli, con decorazioni che sembravano uscite da un libro di fiabe. Questa pasticceria ha reso il compleanno ancora più speciale, trasformando una semplice torta in un ricordo indimenticabile. Tornerò sicuramente per altre occasioni, perché qui si percepisce la passione e l’amore per l’arte dolciaria. Assolutamente consigliata! 💕

28/01/2025: Impeccable service but...pizza absolutely inedible. Full of oil and not leavened as it should. Fry clearly reheated not fresh and reheated just before arriving at the table. I hope this negative feed is advice for their future

22/10/2024: The food at this restaurant is of exceptionally high quality, locally sourced and is delicious. They obviously have an excellent resident chef, who has written a very informative menu, which adds to your enjoyment of his excellent creations. To make it a 5 star experience the staff need to be trained to provide 5 star service too. We needed to ask for cutlery, salt/pepper etc. (Many guests were helping themselves from the breakfast station)The bread needs to be offered either with oil/butter as it is at outside restaurants, as the prices on the menu reflect an expectation that all of this will be in place.

03/10/2024: Service is fundamental to a good experience while dining out. The food and the view could be exquisite but service, timing and attitude are also very important. Hence, the reason for our rating. We were a party of 6. The food on the most part was very good. But their service and timing was less than ideal. When you dine with a group you want to eat and finish pretty much at the same time. Our friends had ordered the chateaubriand which they said was delicious but cold. Their dish would have benefited by being served on heated plates. My spouse and I had ordered appetizers, grilled octopus and fried calimari which were well presented and delicious. We canceled our main course as it did not arrive and our friends had long finished their dinner. Part of their problem that evening was not having enough waitstaff for the number of customers they had. They had plenty of busboys/gals but only one waiter to take our order, prepare the table side chateaubriand as well as pay attention to all the other customers.

18/10/2024: Buena pasta y buena comida, en pleno centro de Sorrento. Encontré la pasta con albóndigas que estaba buscando todo el viaje y no decepcionó. Buenos vinos. El servicio amable.

27/01/2025: We had a delicious dinner, sampling crudo and cooked fish + local wines along with a lovely chat with Gennaro (one of the 3 owner brothers ☺️) who also very kindly arranged for us to get into Il Antiquario for post-dinner cocktails - thanks again! The restaurant is actually the fish monger shop with some tables brought out for evening dinner so it’s limited seating and very casual and you go to the dive bar across the street to use the toilet 😁 Not to be missed!

16/01/2025: Suitable place for a quick and cheap lunch stop. The lunch proposal is a menu (first course, second course, side dish) for only 8 euros. Drinks and cover charge (€1.50) are paid separately. Everything is served on a disposable plate that contains what you choose. We took a menu with spaghetti Vesuviana, orange and chickpea meatballs as a side dish and another consisting of rice with mushrooms, chicken and peas and fennel and carrot salad as a side dish. There is the possibility of taking everything to take away as well as the possibility of buying bread, biscuits, pizzas and food in general, in addition to drinks of course.

The seafood was fresh and expertly prepared, showcasing the rich flavors of the Mediterranean. We particularly enjoyed the grilled sea bass, which was tender and flavorful, served with a drizzle of olive oil and a squeeze of lemon that elevated the dish even further.
