02/09/2024: A truly beautiful hotel with a strategic location, close to both the sea and the centre! Very kind staff, from reception to the kitchen/dining room, always with a smile. We will definitely come back here again! The rooms are all renovated and always clean! The food was also excellent with a wide choice of everything, well done

08/08/2024: Unfortunately the reviews do not reflect reality. The quality of the fish is really poor. The mussels are terrible and the rest is at the level of frozen supermarket stuff. Prices are inflated and if you pay in cash the receipt is optional.

21/08/2024: We ate in this really nice and romantic place. The staff were very kind and courteous. We took a parmigiana and caramelized onions. Very very good, just a little salt was missing in the parmigiana. Then we had the very good filey with seafood, well cooked and with good quality products, here too a pinch of extra salt wouldn't have hurt. Finally, a smoked risotto which was a nice little surprise: a risotto with a cream of local pecorino cheese and perfectly crisped bacon (it exploded in the mouth, pulverising on the palate), a truly well-constructed dish. We left happy and satisfied.

18/08/2024: We had dinner last night in this enchanting place that smells of tradition, but at the same time knows how to keep up with the times. On a Saturday evening in August, full of tourists, we had to wait a bit but it was worth it. Cave appetizer x 2 (really delicious sweet and sour red onions) Eggplant parmigiana and Primo di Grotta, cooked really well, flavors that are enhanced together with the typical Calabrian fresh pasta. Impeccable service, very good. Honest account. We really had a great time, super recommended for anyone on holiday in Tropea.

22/07/2024: Passeggiando per i vicoli di Pizzo ci siamo imbattuti in questa piccola gelateria di cui abbiamo apprezzato l'ottima qualità di gelato e granita insieme alla grande gentilezza dei proprietari, che ci hanno mostrato la preparazione del tartufo realizzato sul momento, rendendo l'esperienza ancora più caratteristica.

20/07/2024: I chose the ice cream with wild berries, a sorbet made with just fruits, water and sugar. It was very good. My wife chose the Tartufo ice cream, which was also excellent, I tried it. Aldo, one of the managing directors, emphasized that he only uses natural ingredients. He also explained that the name of the gelateria is dedicated to his late sister Tiziana. The sister is certainly proud of her brother's work.

01/08/2024: Nice restaurant in Monte Poro, where you can appreciate all the typical products of the hinterland, starting with Spilinga nduja. It's all very good, served by attentive and courteous staff, with an honorable mention for the tasting starter (very plentiful) and the grilled meats. Very honest prices and digestive made by them offered at the end of the meal.

04/09/2024: Absolutely delicious food, the burrata on top of the Margherita was top notch. The pistachio tartufo for dessert was also delicious. Food was pretty affordable for the area and the service and setting was 10 out of 10!

27/08/2024: We came to the place by chance for an ice cream. Finding a table was a miracle, very crowded place. They bring us the menu and we immediately notice the variety of products they offer, we are spoiled for choice. It's a shame that the counter had few flavours, it must have been a busy evening. We order easily via the app and are served by different waiters. Frozen truffles that we had to wait for to melt before being consumed, to evaluate the generous size of the portions that we liked. A piadina rich in cream combined with simple ice cream which was a panacea, very good. The costs are excessive for my tastes, but as we know, if the customers are there they don't care about it. I will definitely return but at more accessible times.

31/08/2024: Our dinner was great! The place is nice and the staff are welcoming and friendly! Truly 5 star food, I recommend the octopus with Tropea onion. The tuna was slightly ahead of cooking and the chef took care to prepare another dish immediately (at no additional cost) and this shows that they take great care both in the excellent cuisine and towards the customer. Highly recommended.

02/09/2024: Premetto da subito che l’importante affluenza di gente che caratterizzava il ristorante mi ha lasciato intendere che la qualità delle materie prime fosse fuori discussione. Io e il mio compagno iniziamo con l ordinare un misto di pesce come antipasto per poi continuare con un tonno alla griglia e dei gamberoni; era tutto veramente buonissimo; il personale di sala eccellente e ci ha subito fatto sentire parte di una bella e grande famiglia. Prossima volta proveremo il pesce al sale, purtroppo finito ma dall’ aspetto succoso e ricco.

01/09/2024: Abbiamo mangiato in famiglia qui in vacanza e siamo rimasti molto più che soddisfatti. Posizione al centro di tropea nei suoi vicoli. Il menù offre ampia scelta, noi abbiamo optato per 2 antipasti, 3 primi e 2 secondi più il dolce. Antipasti buoni, i primi ben cucinati e saporiti, i secondi davvero eccezionali ( trancio di tonno con cipolle di tropea) il tonno, cotto benissimo, era fresco e si sentiva. Servizio cordiale e attento, il titolare simpatico e alla mano. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

19/07/2024: This place is non touristic, high quality food and so warm welcoming staff. I had here my (hidden) Birthday dinner and was happy to have chosen this place. Music is smoothing ambient lounge. Place to go in the city

25/08/2024: Questo posto è perfetto per meritare la chiusura, cibo pessimo, carenza dei servizi minimi, locale sporco. Un gran peccato per la posizione in cui si trova, nel cuore del bosco che ospita le spoglie ed i luoghi vissuti da San Bruno . Il povero San Bruno, piuttosto che rifocillarsi, preferì osservare il digiuno , ma rimanere in penitenza di fronte a questo locale e rimanere nell'acqua per secoli. Ed il ché la dice tutta....

Pietanze molto buone e curate, che allontana questo locale da quelli dedicati esclusivamente al turista di passaggio. Prezzo forse altino, ma siamo al centro di uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia, in pieno agosto, e ci sta!
