19/10/2024: Ate delicious swordfish rolls and octopus rolls, straight away at the beach. Personally, I find the ambience original and the service was friendly, even spoke a bit of English, using the toilet was an adventure, but after all we are talking about a beach shack and not a luxury hotel. ;)

13/01/2025: One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. I would recommend it to anyone, tourist or local. The place is very nice, tidy, well furnished and with a wonderful view. It is structured on several levels, between a platform overlooking the sea and a top floor terrace overlooking the sea and all of Scilla. Obviously the menu is almost entirely fish-based and it is all excellent. We ordered a seafood appetizer consisting of 6 different tastings, easily divisible for 2 people. Followed by two first courses: trofie with seafood and paccheri with swordfish with olives and capers. All very good. The staff is very kind and very professional. I recommend booking about a week in advance to have the chance to occupy one of the best tables on the terrace, attached to the railing.

02/11/2024: Overall, pretty disappointing. We waited over 40 minutes for the food to arrive. They clearly had more tables than they could handle. The food itself was not bad, but it was pretty average and the portions were quite small. The salad was especially disappointing, it was literally just a bit of lettuce and they brought a bottle of olive oil to season it with. The restaurant also only had one bathroom for which there was a line the whole time we were there. At the end, they rounded down our cheque from 62 to 60 euros, which was a nice gesture.

20/09/2024: Located in one of the most enchanting places in Calabria... Chianalea (Scilla), this restaurant with a platform overlooking the sea not only offers top quality food, fresh fish, recipes that combine tradition and originality, but also reserves kindness and availability from the staff, always careful to satisfy customers' palates. A glass of wine in front of a breathtaking view, a welcoming environment, refined in detail. I would say that there is everything you need to make it a little pearl.

21/02/2025: Food very good. My pasta in tomato sauce is amazing! My son experimentally tried pasta with sea urchins, the dish was specific, but it's hard to say whether it should be like that or not since he and my husband ate it for the first time. My daughter got grilled tuna, which was medium rare. It's a pity the staff didn't ask. The service was very nice and helpful. At the end we got a glass of grappa and amaro. That was nice!

06/01/2025: Noi abbiamo cenato e soggiornato. Tutto perfetto. Stanze pulite, nuove, accoglienti e confortevoli, con una vista da perdere il fiato. Ristorante eccezionale. Da consigliare assolutamente!!! Prezzi molto onesti.

01/01/2025: Premetto subito che è stato riconosciuto l'inconveniente con relative scuse ma quando va a monte un pranzo di Capodanno servono a poco. Ho percorso circa 180 km per arrivare al locale. Ordinato un antipasto misto, decisamente insignificante per il prezzo richiesto..... per non parlare del primo, filei al pesto di pistacchio con vongole, rimandato subito indietro insapore, scotto, senza sale, vongole messe a mo di decoro completamente fredde. Le scuse in questi casi servono a poco, il titolare avrebbe dovuto tirare le orecchie al personale di cucina per aver presentato un primo non saltato in padella con le vongole ma messe sopra completamente fredde. Non ho reclamato per la frittura pessjma di mio figlio perché mi sembrava di inferire troppo.... sarebbe il caso di rivedere qualcosa con il personale di cucina.

04/10/2024: Ottimo posto dove cenare a base di pesce su piattaforma nel mare a Chianalea di Scilla in un borgo di pescatori, gli stessi proprietari sono una famiglia di pescatori.

03/10/2024: Spettacolare la location: una terrazza sul mare. Interno in miniatura. Bagni piccolissimi. Pesce fresco. Menù solo di pesce. Tanto spada. Bocciato il tartufo come dolce.

24/11/2024: Abbiamo preso la pizza. Buonissime. Buono il sapore e l'impasto. Locale tranquillo proprio in riva al mare. Servizio eccellente.

24/11/2024: Locale carino, posizionato sul lungomare, personale gentile e disponibile. Non sono rimasto contento per il prezzo in base alla quantità e qualità e cioè €25 un 2' misto di pesce(bis di pesce spada cioè mezza fettina ed 1 involtino,1 gamberone e mezzo sgombro pieno di lische e pelle da pulire)non so' se la foto rende l'idea,senza nemmeno contorno compreso. Lascio a voi l'opinione da dare...

13/09/2024: Very friendly and pointed us to the most delicious Arancini called Bobo. Don’t let the plastic chairs and low prices fool you. Delicious.

20/08/2024: Arancini mixed together and empty panzerotti with the justification "today they came out badly". Unacceptable. Very negative opinion.
