The place is located in the very heart of the ancient town of Shila or little Venice, in the Canaleia quarter. Thank you very much and I look forward to seeing you in Turin!

and a great place to try local wines! I highly recommend it!

The plastic cutlery bothered us, even though it seems so common here.
Restaurant is recommended for snacks.

02/11/2024: The place is typical of a fishing village, a small but welcoming environment. Very good dishes with refined flavours. Wine cellar limited by labels for the period. The waiter who helps himself by running from one level (first floor kitchen) to the other (two of the rooms at different heights, highlights his suffering on his t-shirt... the bathrooms are absolutely out of the norm! The one for the very small man and for sizes maximum 50. Otherwise recommended!

13/01/2025: One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in.
I would recommend it to anyone, tourist or local.
The place is very nice, tidy, well furnished and with a wonderful view.
It is structured on several levels, between a platform overlooking the sea and a top floor terrace overlooking the sea and all of Scilla.
Obviously the menu is almost entirely fish-based and it is all excellent.
We ordered a seafood appetizer consisting of 6 different tastings, easily divisible for 2 people.
Followed by two first courses: trofie with seafood and paccheri with swordfish with olives and capers.
All very good.
The staff is very kind and very professional.
I recommend booking about a week in advance to have the chance to occupy one of the best tables on the terrace, attached to the railing.
02/11/2024: Overall, pretty disappointing. We waited over 40 minutes for the food to arrive. They clearly had more tables than they could handle. The food itself was not bad, but it was pretty average and the portions were quite small. The salad was especially disappointing, it was literally just a bit of lettuce and they brought a bottle of olive oil to season it with. The restaurant also only had one bathroom for which there was a line the whole time we were there. At the end, they rounded down our cheque from 62 to 60 euros, which was a nice gesture.

19/10/2024: Ate delicious swordfish rolls and octopus rolls, straight away
at the beach. Personally, I find the ambience original and the service was friendly, even spoke a bit of English, using the toilet was an adventure, but after all we are talking about a beach shack and not a luxury hotel. ;)

03/10/2024: Spettacolare la location: una terrazza sul mare. Interno in miniatura. Bagni piccolissimi. Pesce fresco. Menù solo di pesce. Tanto spada. Bocciato il tartufo come dolce.

04/12/2024: מקום נהדר. ישוב חמוד וקטן על חוף הים. מיקום כרוך בהסעה מהמרכז, פעילות די פשוטה שעובדת חלק, המקום מאוד נעים, מטופח והשירות מעולה. אכלנו גם במסעדת המקום. האוכל מצויין, ברמה מאוד גבוהה ובמחירים סבירים. מומלץ מאוד
29/11/2024: Personale accogliente. Poi che dire… una vista mozzafiato, il punto di forza di questo locale, molto romantico. Consiglio la prenotazione. Cibo buono e porzioni giuste. I prezzi sono un po’ sopra la media, ma ne vale la pena.

27/12/2024: The staff speaks English, and that's where the advantages end. Most menu items are unavailable. The waiting time for the meal is excruciatingly long. The waitress constantly confuses orders and tables.
A place where you can stop by for a glass of wine and appetizers. The rest didn't work out for them today.
The only thing that saved the situation was the view and the interior.

Non sono rimasto contento per il prezzo in base alla quantità e qualità e cioè €25 un 2' misto di pesce(bis di pesce spada cioè mezza fettina ed 1 involtino,1 gamberone e mezzo sgombro pieno di lische e pelle da pulire)non so' se la foto rende l'idea,senza nemmeno contorno compreso.

Chianalea (Scilla), this restaurant with a platform overlooking the sea not only offers top quality food, fresh fish, recipes that combine tradition and originality, but also reserves kindness and availability from the staff, always careful to satisfy customers' palates. A glass of wine in front of a breathtaking view, a welcoming environment, refined in detail.
I would say that there is everything you need to make it a little pearl.
