23/08/2025: Everything was excellent!!! The quality of the ingredients was superb, the dough was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The combinations were unusual and well thought out! We'd definitely go back! The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn't enough to maintain a comfortable temperature.

26/08/2025: I went to Damì last week with my parents and friends for dinner.
The place is truly charming and welcoming, with very modern tables.
When ordering, we were guided and advised on our choice of dishes (even considering one of us had an intolerance).
We had several meat and fish dishes. The appetizers were very comprehensive, and the first courses were delicious. We also enjoyed the desserts (special mention for the fruit tarts, which we particularly enjoyed).
The price was in line with the type of restaurant.
I will definitely be back next summer!

Everything we ate was delicious: from appetizers to desserts, we enjoyed the authentic flavors of our sea and land. 31/07/2025: We had a truly impeccable culinary experience. From the warm welcome to the attentive and friendly service, everything was simply excellent. Each dish elegantly and authentically showcased the richness of Calabrian tradition, and beyond, revisited with great care and creativity. The intense yet balanced flavors, the extraordinary quality of the ingredients, and the meticulously crafted presentation made the dinner a true journey through the region's finest.
The wine pairing was another highlight: each glass perfectly enhanced the flavors of the dish, demonstrating the meticulous selection of local wines.
A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for their professionalism, passion, and smiles throughout the evening. A special thanks to Giuseppe, whose expertise and kindness made the experience even more enjoyable.
We will definitely be back!
16/07/2025: Impeccable, unobtrusive service, a refined and elegant venue, and top-notch dishes. We chose "Barefoot on the Sand," a surprise menu that truly surprised. Eight delicious courses were chosen by the chef, except for the dessert, which I chose and which was truly a treat. It's definitely a place I recommend and would gladly return to. Congratulations, chef, and goodbye.

Excellent value for money, both for the quality of the dishes and the decidedly reasonable prices. Highly recommended! Reservations are definitely recommended.

03/09/2025: Finally, this evening, my wife and I managed to dine here. We never managed to find a table, and that's because the food was so good. From appetizers to dessert, everything was excellent. The owner and staff were knowledgeable and friendly.

07/09/2025: At this kiosk, we had a brioche with bergamot gelato and fig granita.
The bergamot gelato was amazing!! The flavor was delicate, but you could still taste the bergamot. The fig granita was the fruit!!
During our vacation in Calabria, we tried bergamot gelato several times, and we weren't thrilled because it always had an aftertaste of..."detergent"...
My advice is to try the bergamot gelato from the La Cattolica kiosk, and then tell me... ;)
03/09/2025: Stopping here, before or after visiting the Cattolica, on a beautiful day and enjoying the bergamot-infused products, from iced tea to granita, is priceless.

15/09/2025: There are few places where I eat well when I go down to Reggio and the surrounding area. Especially where there's continuity and the food is consistently good, La Sosta is one of them. Where you sit down, order, and know everything will be fine. We ordered two appetizers and two sandwiches, and everything was excellent. Add to that the fantastic service, the unique atmosphere, and good music, and you have the perfect recipe.

18/08/2025: Absolutely excellent restaurant in every way. The kindness and attentiveness of the waiters, the quality and deliciousness of the food served so quickly. A 10 out of 10 also goes to the chef for everything we ate, which was a true delight.
We will definitely be back, and thank you again for the fantastic experience.
17/08/2025: A rustic yet refined restaurant, it allows you to savor stockfish in every possible way.
We also tried the non-stockfish menu, which was very tasty, with just the right amount of fish and flavor.
A special mention goes to the sliced meat, which, although not one of the specialties, is excellent!
The restaurant was busy, but the service was efficient.
Just be careful with dessert; the ricotta tart contains some alcohol, but it's not listed on the dessert menu.
The prices are also absolutely reasonable.

12/08/2025: Such a wonderful place with truly fantastic, typical Calabrian food. Everything is superb, fresh, and delicious. The dishes change daily. There's something for everyone, and all at very reasonable prices. All the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. We visited several times during our four-week vacation and would definitely come back. Thank you for this wonderful experience (a reminder of my husband's childhood, when he always loved traditional cooking from his dear aunts). We received this recommendation from the staff at Tabaccheria Foti in Reggio Calabria. Thank you very much for that. We send our warmest greetings from Germany to the south of Italy.
