12/09/2025: Everything is so good... Top quality....
I don't recommend it, but more. I go often and they never disappoint me, it feels like family. Today with the Ovuli pasta they outdid themselves... I always find the quality of the products to be very high, and very importantly, the prices are more than in line with many other hypothetical restaurants. In my opinion, for the quality they serve, their prices are even a notch lower than what's around.... Fabio, Uncle Silvio, and the entire dining room and kitchen team are tops....
But don't tell anyone...
I risk not finding a seat....
I'm kidding....
There's also a huge, very cool dining room in the basement....
Try it and then tell me....

09/09/2025: From the appetizer to the first course, everything was excellent! The appetizer of cured meats and cheeses was plentiful and beautifully served with jams and honey, and they even recommended the perfect wine to pair with it. Both first courses were delicious, but I think the pappardelle were the highlight, with a bold, flavorful, and unique twist. Worth a look if you're in the area!

02/10/2025: I rarely write reviews for average establishments. I usually do so if I'm particularly happy or unhappy with them. Almost never if asked. In this case, the review is extremely positive. Excellent staff in every area and excellent food. I'd say the fact that the establishment isn't modern allows for excellent value, and it's all managed by a great person, Rodolfo, a man of few words but great sensitivity. A place worth visiting because it does good in every sense.
23/09/2025: The entire staff was kind and courteous. Excellent breakfast and delicious dinners. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

I'm downgrading my review from 5 to 3 stars because they don't respect the closing time listed on the Google page, which is supposed to be 5:00 PM, but I found it closed at 4:10 PM.

17/09/2025: The Silano Market is a must-try! Fresh, authentic produce, flavor, kindness, professionalism, good food, and culture. The market is all of this. We were inside, five of us, and we tried the cured meats and cheeses, requesting a platter for five, and we were well-pleased. We tried the mpacchiuse potatoes with two different flavors, and words can't describe them; they're a must-try. We added a portion of fried meatballs, different from what I'm used to, but still very tasty. To finish, there was a sandwich with a choice of meat for everyone, and here too, with fresh mushrooms, sausage, sauces, and everything else, the 5 stars are well-deserved. We'll definitely be returning. The prices aren't low, but they're not outrageous either; you pay for quality and professionalism. Oh, and I forgot, the craft beer is fantastic.
08/09/2025: The Silano Market is a truly unique place in Camigliatello. Here you can taste the authentic flavors of the Sila: cured meats, cheeses, porcini mushrooms, truffles, and perfectly cooked local meats. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, exuding tradition and passion for local products. An authentic experience definitely worth trying.

Scrivano Terre D'altopiano

17/09/2025: For several years, during our stay in Camigliatello, we've been going to Scrivano to stock up on yogurt and dairy products to take home. This year, unusually, for dietary reasons, we (four of us) simply wanted to sit in the picnic area and enjoy some fruit we had on hand instead of their usual mixed platters. We then ordered some of their ice creams and, later, equipped with coolers, purchased the usual take-away items.
As we were going to sit down (there was also a disabled person with us), the owner abruptly addressed us, saying, "This is not a picnic area."
Faced with such rudeness, we explained that we were regular customers who, as usual, were there to buy their products. We got back in the car and, certainly, we will never return, nor will we tell this unpleasant experience to friends and acquaintances.
Kindness, and above all, good manners, are not optional!
14/09/2025: The ice cream is definitely good, but I think the cashier can't afford to make a mistake and charge €20 less, and then, with a hint of presumption, not even apologize.

06/05/2025: Ogni qualvolta da Roma arrivo a Camigliatello, questa tappa è obbligatoria, scoperto per puro caso, si è rilevato il top dei ristoranti, sotto tutti i punti di vista. Alla fine scopro che i proprietari sono addirittura i nipoti del mio medico curante. Piatti deliziosi, anzi strepitosi, come lo scialatiello alla pecoraia che potrete vedere in foto, porcini da 110&LODE. Una delizia per il palato. Servizio impeccabile e proprietari e staff gentilissimi.
CONSIGLIATISSIMO. Un caro saluto e a presto.

Pranzare all’aria aperta e in tranquillità, una sosta piacevole.
La novità di quest’anno è stato il gelato: SQUISITO!

26/07/2025: Grazie al gemellaggio con il Fai abbiamo avuto l’occasione dí conoscere questo meraviglioso agriturismo, che dispone di camere e ristorante. I proprietari, di una cortesia indescrivibile, ci hanno illustrato tutte le fasi di produzione del formaggio, dalla mungitura fino alla stagionatura. Abbiamo avuto modo di assaggiare i loro prodotti, oltre che pranzare nel ristorante, constatando l’ottima qualità di tutti i piatti, ad un prezzo più che ragionevole. Noi sicuramente ci ritorneremo.

13/09/2025: After our walk in the Sila Giants Park, having worked up an appetite in the fresh air, my husband and I decided to have lunch. At the exit of the park, there was a restaurant with outdoor seating. The view around the restaurant was truly splendid, the nature enchanting. But unfortunately, our desire to have lunch there quickly faded. We couldn't find a table with a clean tablecloth to sit at. The chairs were also in terrible condition, and since I was wearing light-colored clothing, I didn't have the courage to sit. We limited ourselves to coffee (which, incidentally, was one of the most expensive I've ever had in Calabria). The atmosphere inside is a little better, but with such beautiful views around the restaurant, you'd want to sit on the terrace. Please pay more attention to cleanliness, and I'm sure customers will come in large numbers. Best regards.
16/08/2025: ONE STAR IS ALREADY TOO MANY.. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND EQUALLY TERRIBLE STAFF..
APPETIZER:
It included 4 slices of cheese and 4 slices of salami.
Pasta completely tasteless, not to mention the main course that arrived after about two hours. We asked for water about 4 times, which arrived after an hour from a fountain outside. The restrooms aren't up to standard because while you're eating, people walk past you with the door open. To pee, you have to rest your legs on a sort of shower next to the toilet. While we were in the dining room, we were covered in smoke from the kitchen. The whole dining room complained. A terrible experience, we'll never return.
And I assure you, there are many other things to say.

25/02/2025: Nonostante eravamo in nove ci hanno fatto "accomodare" ad un tavolo per 6, non ci portano il menù, quindi non ci rendiamo conto dei prezzi elevati. Trappola per turisti.
23/02/2025: L'unico peccato.... essere entrati in questo locale, dove regna sovrana la maleducazione. Prezzi alti in rapporto ai piatti serviti di scarsa qualità.Scontrosi e offensivi verso i clienti, non accettano lamentele sulla cattiva organizzazione. Da evitare.

15/08/2024: Posticino carino in cui sono tornata dopo 4 anni e devo dire che questa volta non sono stata soddisfatta per la gestione del pranzo: tolto il piatto a mia madre mentre stava ancora mangiando. Il bimbo che mi ha portato il caffè me lo rovesciato sulla t-shirt. Mi sono sembrati molto frettolosi … peccato!
10/08/2024: Siamo stati oggi a pranzo qui per festeggiare il battesimo di mio figlio, abbiamo mangiato tantissimo e benissimo ed i ragazzi sono di una cordialità e gentilezza unica. La qualità dei prodotti era veramente il top si vede che è tutto km0 . Super soddisfatta

21/03/2025: Locale perfetto pulito e immerso nella natura incontaminata di Camigliatello silvano , cibo ottimo preparato dalla titolare Romina e a servire la sua carissima figlia Serena , cibo prettamente casereccio e roba molto fresca con. Cucina davvero originale calabrese senza nessun alterazione dei piatti tutto ottimo mi sono sentito a casa e ringrazio voi per la mia bellissima esperienza culinaria cercherò di ritornare al più presto⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ lo consiglierò ai miei amici

Ambiente accogliente e caratteristico… ci torno sempre volentieri…
Qui si mangiano prodotti veramente locali… ottima qualità e abbondante… dai salumi, ai funghi, e allo straordinario caciocavallo alla griglia… la mia famiglia adora questo locale e il posto in generale… i proprietari sn persone squisite e precise nel loro lavoro…
In inverno ho anche soggiornato nel loro b&b a ridosso del ristorante…. Esperienza fantastica… lo consiglio perché c’è cura e attenzione dei propri ospiti
21/01/2025: Questo posto offre un'ottima cucina, con piatti preparati con ingredienti freschi e gustosi. La qualità del cibo è altissima e il personale è molto accogliente. Lo consiglio senza dubbio, così saprete di gustare piatti tipici e autentici della Sila.
