09/06/2025: We had dinner at this agriturismo at the beginning of June. Excellent food. Delicious mushrooms. The managers of this place are two very willing brothers who, in addition to taking care of the restaurant, manage an entire farm. The cheeses are made daily with the milk of their animals. They also have their own vegetable cultivation and an educational farm activity is planned. These guys should be rewarded and encouraged, because they have chosen to carry on an activity that few people want to do nowadays and so, in addition to keeping traditions alive, they serve quality food and local raw materials. 13/05/2025: I spent a wonderful weekend at this farmhouse immersed in the green countryside. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with warmth and helpfulness: the staff is kind, attentive and always ready to satisfy every need. The structure is cared for down to the smallest details, with clean, spacious rooms furnished with rustic taste, in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment. One of the strong points is certainly the cuisine: genuine dishes, prepared with fresh and local ingredients, many of which come directly from the farmhouse's garden. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, with homemade cakes, artisanal jams and typical local products. The farmhouse also offers various outdoor activities: walks through the vineyards, visits to the farm animals and moments of relaxation. An authentic experience that allows you to rediscover the slow rhythms of nature and enjoy a bit of tranquility, away from the chaos of the city. I highly recommend this farmhouse to those looking for a relaxing stay, in a familiar and welcoming environment. It is the ideal place for both couples looking for romance and for families with children. We will definitely be back!

18/05/2025: È sempre un grande piacere ritornare al Merlo Rosso di Domenico e Mattia Aquilino, un posto dove trovare calore e qualità. Ottima la battuta di tonno rosso (in foto servita con datterini gialli e stracciatella); squisita e delicata la tagliata di tonno (cottura al sangue ovviamente), come tenero ma dal sapore deciso il polipo arrosto. Tutto esaltato da un esplosivo olio extravergine d’oliva di Tiriolo premiato da Gambero Rosso. E infine particolare che non guasta: andato a salutare la brigata in cucina, venivo accolto da blues ad altissimo volume per restare concentrati sul pezzo delle comande!

15/06/2025: If you love good food, if you like to be served with cordiality and professionalism, if you want to take a culinary journey between tradition and the chef's fantasies, if you want to satisfy your palate, you can't help but think of "La Barrica". I had heard people close to me talking about this place and I can say that the result proved to be above expectations. Ours was a table of over 20 people and we all left more than satisfied. I highly recommend the appetizers (including the magical stew) and definitely one of the magnificent cuts recommended by Davide (one of the owners of the place). I will definitely go back soon and bring other people with me. Thanks to all the staff 🙏🏻

The service is fast and the staff is very kind; the location is a little out of the way for those who are not local but it is a very nice place. Inside a little small but very intimate. 26/03/2025: We were there for lunch (they were very kind since it was past 2pm telling us that we could have lunch without problems) the food was very good, portions just right to fill you up without exaggerating. Value for money in the norm.

10/06/2025: Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem Lokal mit kalabresischer Küche zum Mittagessen und haben durch Zufall das Rau‘ gefunden. Das Lokal ist im 1. Stock , durch einen Treppenaufgang nach einem Torbogen rechts hinauf zu erreichen. Das Konzept ist „Menu Buffet“ für insgesamt 13€ pro Person ( 1 Flasche Mineralwasser prickelnd oder still inkludiert). Das Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich ! Es gibt Vorspeisen und 4 Hauptspeisen, alles war sehr köstlich und frisch gekocht ! Auch für Gemüseliebhaber ist viel dabei bzw. für Vegetarier. Eine Empfehlung für große Esser oder Reisende mit kleiner Geldbörse !

24/05/2025: Abbiamo preso patatine e pizza.. locale confuso con ragazzi che non sanno come si lavora, poca coordinazione e molta lentezza. Abbiamo ordinato dopo piu di mezz ora.. la pizza é arrivata dopo un ora e mezza.. e l attesa non è valsa la pena. Impasto mediocre, ingredienti sciapi..altra cosa scontrini finti, non sai cosa paghi.. solo il totale senza sapere nulla.. cambiate mestiere..credo di non tornare mai piu

17/05/2025: Ethnic and particular style restaurant located in the center of Lamezia Terme. I must say that the food is quality, fresh and cared for in the smallest details. We ordered an appetizer, I had the chicken cutlet and my friends had the pizza and we were very satisfied. The service was a little slow, but beyond this the staff was kind and helpful. I will be back!

09/06/2025: we had lunch and dinner at this place outside it seems quite well-kept green spaces and area for walking surrounded by greenery inside a bit small, ten tables at most. there is a porticoed outdoor area that increases the number of seats fixed menu at 35 euros baby menu 15 euros quite rich appetizer two first courses, second course with side dish bitter coffee homemade cuisine overall acceptable.

21/05/2025: After many years I returned to these places in the company of some of my friends. We had lunch in this lovely place where the atmosphere is welcoming, the staff extremely friendly and helpful. But the strong point of the place is undoubtedly the cuisine. At Valle dell'Aspide you can taste typical traditional products with zero km ingredients. The dishes are delicious and the service is excellent. We tasted stuffed ravioli .... and it was an explosion of flavors. It is not easy to find dishes so carefully prepared and capable of transmitting the flavors of the past. Immersed in the silence and quiet of the hills, surrounded by woods ... I highly recommend this place to all lovers of good food". Thank you Teresa and Luciano for your hospitality.

21/06/2025: La Sila, one of the most beautiful places in Calabria. Il Semaforo, in the middle of the natural park, where I spent a night, a spectacular dinner with local products and homemade pasta. Everything is 10/10 at very reasonable prices. To underline the attention of the staff, very friendly and always available to help. A heartfelt thanks to Peter and Vanessa who helped me solve a problem, allowing me to continue my motorcycle trip in this beautiful part of Italy.

16/06/2025: We had lunch during a trip to Sila: they prepare pizza by the slice and stuffed sandwiches. The sandwiches are huge, extremely stuffed and well-balanced in flavor. The pizzas are original but perhaps the dough is too predominant The prices are fair or perhaps a little high
