30/09/2025: Excellent arrosticini. The pizza was good, but ours was a little burned...we'll be back for the meat sushi! The atmosphere was a bit noisy. I didn't appreciate the confusing entrance (the downstairs dining room was fine, but upstairs was a bit more welcoming!)
25/09/2025: I'd been there once before for arrosticini, and everything had been fine, but not this time. I'm giving it two stars because the fried cheese was good and it didn't take ages to arrive, like the pizzas did. It took them a long time to come and take our order, and the pizzas didn't arrive for an hour. As soon as they arrived, we immediately realized they'd been forgotten outside for a while and had been put back in the oven just so they could arrive hot. My boyfriend's carbonara pizza was decent, but my tartufata wasn't, and I had to leave it. You could tell it had been put back in the oven because the mozzarella was hard and the pizza was hard too. And most of all, strangely, they arrived as soon as I asked the waiter when they'd arrive, given that so much time had passed. No one apologized for the wait despite our complaint. We didn't complain about the pizzas out of politeness, but no one said anything about them being forgotten anyway.

14/06/2025: Interesting sandwiches with good combination of ingredients, good also the cheese sauce provided in industrial quantities. Friendly staff even if slightly suffocating. Honestly 50 euros for two hamburgers a cola and a beer and a portion of potatoes is not justified.
26/05/2025: Good but I find it excessive to pay 18 euros for a normal sized burrito (they use piadina)!!

19/08/2025: A casual lunch... and like all casual things, it's always the best, the best lunch I've had so far on vacation!
Excellent fritters
Delicious seasonal vegetables,
Ascolana olives, a little less so.
The first courses were truly wonderful:
Gnocchetti alla sorrentina
Ravioli with speck and arugula
Trofie alla carlofortina
They were truly top-notch, 5 stars...
Very fair prices for being by the sea.
A real gem!
19/08/2025: We've been coming to Roseto for 8 years, and we've been eating here at La Rotonda for 8 years. Excellent food at reasonable prices. The staff is super friendly.

15/09/2025: Lido Marisella is not only a beautiful beach with plenty of space and clean lettini and ombrelloni, but also has a nice restaurant with a good selection of fish. We ate there twice, each time with paranza ("fish from the trawl"), which consisted mainly of small red mullet, a type of whitefish, and a large scampi as the topping. It was not only a really large portion, but also really delicious, and all for €17. We also got half a liter of local white wine for €5, and the lunch right by the sea was excellent. The owner and waitress were both very friendly, and we enjoyed it very much.

13/07/2025: The apartments are nice, but at least the two-person attic apartments with balconies need better lighting. Light fixtures aren't functional and there's a lack of counter space. Not a great value for money.
Located in a more residential area, 2-3 km from the city center.
13/07/2025: We stayed at this residence five years ago with our one-year-old daughter. We had a wonderful time, thanks to the convenient location and the flexibility that a residence offers, where you can cook, but there's also a restaurant on the ground floor, for those days when you don't feel like cooking.
At the end of our holiday, our review was five stars 😊
We returned this year, with our daughter, now six, and our new arrival, five months old.
We're about to conclude our long holiday, and we're reluctantly reducing our review by one star. Perhaps some choices we've made in the meantime have made us "appreciate" the property a little less (for example, the restaurant, which has become self-service). However, it remains a good option for those of us with small children.
The staff is very helpful and friendly, and we extend a special thanks to the tireless maintenance man, who always smiles and often resolves small issues that required his assistance.
We also greatly appreciated the work of the two entertainers, who always kept our little girl entertained with games at the beach, in the pool, pizza parties, and snacks.

15/08/2025: We had lunch on August 15th, featuring seafood. Everything was excellent and fresh! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it.
13/08/2025: I really like it because it's quiet enough, yet has everything you need and lots and lots of space. Domenico is kind and helpful, and the staff are also lovely. Breakfast and lunch were excellent.

28/04/2025: Eravamo di passaggio direzione sud e abbiamo deciso di fermarci a pranzare in questa trattoria...
Il locale era umile ma pulito e ordinato...il personale era cortese e gentile e molto ospitale.....abbiamo preso 4 primi e un secondo per non appesantirci troppo ma posso dirvi che era tutto squisitissimo...ci ritorneremo sicuramente consiglio vivamente
19/04/2025: Sono stato a pranzo alla Fattoria della Nonna dopo avere visto il video su YouTube di Francesco, di cui stimo e seguo il lavoro. Ho fatto una sosta durante un viaggio un po’ lungo da Milano al Salento, ma sono rimasto molto deluso. Unica nota positiva una cameriera gentilissima dai capelli biondi che io e mia moglie salutiamo ancora tantissimo. Racconto la mia esperienza: posizione strategica a 2 passi dal casello, parcheggio immenso in grado di ospitare anche numerosi tir. L’accoglienza è stata affettuosa e veloce. Al tavolo non c’è il menù e quindi non è dato sapere il prezzo delle portate, che infine scopriremo non essere propriamente attagliato ad una trattoria per camionisti dalla location molto semplice. Ci viene chiesto solo se vogliamo pesce o carne ed allora mia moglie prende un antipasto di mare freddo e mezze maniche allo scoglio, io antipasto della nonna e chitarra al ragù. Nell’antipasto di mia moglie era presente, tra le altre cose, un pezzo di tonno in scatola (il piatto costa 12 euro…). Insomma, abbiamo pranzato ma l’esperienza non è da ripetere. Inoltre bevendo solo acqua liscia (considerato che dovevo guidare) abbiamo speso ben 46,50 (che comprendono anche 2 caffè). I prezzi li abbiamo scoperti solo al momento di pagare, perché il listino è affisso vicino alla cassa. Mi spiace non premiare la cortesia del personale ma non siamo rimasti contenti del cibo.

Naturalmente , sapendo com’è il trend estivo di questa ricercata Location posta quasi sulla battigia del mare , noi ci siamo andati ( dopo aver opportunamente prenotato ) in un giorno feriale / infrasettimanale , così da non trovare molti ospiti seduti ai tavoli e quindi atmosfera un po’ più tranquilla e soprattutto la 👩🍳 CUCiNA 👨🍳 ed il 👩🏼💼SERVIZIO 👩🏼💼 decisamente meno ……… stressati ( “ Capito mi hai ?? “ ) !!
E così , con queste premesse , sian tornati con amici del Nord - Est a Pranzo da WALTER e lui ( con il suo Staff ) non ci ha delusi ….
Non c’è stata titubanza nello scegliere i Piatti 🍝 🍤 perché ormai ne abbiamo piena conoscenza sia sui contenuti delle materie prime impiegate ( PESCE 🐟 in primis ) che la loro confezione / preparazione ; vi accenno quindi del vino 🥂 scelto e servito a tavola : la PASSERINA delle Tenute Ulisse ( Crecchio di Chieti ) !
Un bianco 🥂 IGP decisamente amabile e performante quando lo si gusta fresco al punto giusto ….. e noi lo abbiamo fatto !!!
Per il resto che dire : una Location conosciuta per i suoi arredi da esterno 🪑 - l’ubicazione orografica 👁️🗨️ ed il verde 🌳🌵 che l’addobba ….. ci ha dato la possibilità di “ andare sul sicuro “ nello sceglierla e quindi di offrire una bella cornice per un convivio di Mezzodì 🕛 a persone del Nord - Est che non sapevano di ….. WALTER !! 🤣 🤣 🤣
