11/08/2024: Pleasantly surprised, we randomly selected this restaurant on our way, the pizzas are excellent but one downside is that the montelpulciano is at room temperature… I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

11/08/2024: Very good pizzas, the girl who welcomed us to the table was able to recommend some pizzas to share and she was right, both the classic margherita with light and crunchy dough and the more particular ones were good. The place is tidy and clean, we dined in the outdoor area which had only one flaw: smoking is allowed! For the rest, I recommend trying it and relying on the wait staff!

08/08/2024: Terrible service. Slow is an understatement. We waited 30 minutes for the drink. For a cold appetizer 1 hour and for kebabs 1 hour and a half. I only recommend fillet kebabs.

05/08/2024: The best kebabs in the area... from those cut into cubes to those cut by hand, from those made with sheep fillet to the special spicy ones... possibility of also taking those made with chicken or calf's liver... Good beer.. Platters of typical cheeses, various types of pecorino. The specialty of farindola pecorino, the fried cheese.. Everything excellent.

20/08/2024: Local institution regarding kebabs: various types (small, large, artisanal, etc.). Excellent starters, both hot and cold. I was there on a Saturday evening, it is very chaotic due to the large influx of customers (confirming the goodness of the food).

20/08/2024: 7 of us had dinner at this restaurant on the hill. A taste of cold and hot appetizers then as a first course tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and truffle and pecorara and meunière pasta. The portions are generous and one is easily enough for 2 people. As a second course, classic tender and tasty kebabs. Homemade desserts according to the Abruzzo tradition. All excellent and cooked to perfection. We will certainly return. When you arrive by car you will find a large car park.

23/08/2024: Dinner for two, excellent first courses, Pecorara rings and guitar with truffles. The sausages were delicious! The cannoli with ricotta and homemade chocolate is also good.

22/07/2024: Capitarti qui casualmente, abbiamo avuto una gradevole sorpresa. Locale semplice, cucina ottima. Parecchi i piatti della tradizione, tutti quelli che abbiamo assaggiati ben cucinati. Prezzo onesto. Non abbiamo assaggiato la pizza, ma alla vista sembravano ottime. Vale una fermata.

31/08/2024: Typical dishes of the Abruzzo tradition such as pecora alla callara, kebabs and above all the legendary pasta alla mugnaia which I was told was born right here in this beautiful restaurant, when it only had 10/12 seats... Today you can have celebrations of birthday, wedding or receptions having been expanded with tables also outside, and a beautiful swimming pool. Booking recommended. Very kind staff who make you feel at home. Fast service.

12/08/2024: We celebrated our wedding at Casa del Gelso and we were literally delighted! The location is not only an absolute dream, but also the staff, especially Chiara, are incredibly professional and caring! Chiara is always available for any questions, offering great relief from the stress of the wedding! Thank you very much, Chiara! All our guests were impressed by the attention and professionalism of the waiters! The food was also delicious, with wonderful alternatives available for intolerances or vegetarian options! Bottom line: If you're not sure where to have your wedding, look no further!!!

06/08/2024: Excellent, clean place, welcoming staff, genuine food and superb cuisine, in 4 people we had 4 meunière dishes in Flemish style so abundant that we filled 5 plates and still had leftovers for an encore, then 20 kebabs just to taste and they were excellent, original size, not large (as they must be for optimal cooking) very tender and tasty, a bottle of coke and a bottle of water, two coffees on the house. As soon as we sat down they offered us a delicious savory fried batter, we spent €16 each. I highly recommend August 11, 2022 Returned on 5 August 2024, table of 31 people, wine and drinks galore, usual fried batter but with peppers and excellent, very particular potatoes as an appetizer offered by the house, very good and truly plentiful miller (served in large Flemish dishes, I ate 2 dishes) kebabs always very good a few plates of french fries for the kids (as expected so abundant that in the end there were some for everyone not just the kids) coffee and bitters, we spent €25 per person. I confirm the previous good review!

21/08/2024: The food was very good, the games were great, especially at the wheel where I always got the bonus and the laser game was nice and fun and lasted 30 minutes.
