Ristorante La Mugnaia In Città sant'angelo

Mugnaia is my favorite restaurant! I've been coming here since I was little; the food is excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is perfect! If you want a truly authentic Italian experience, this is the place to come.

A friend recommended this restaurant to me, and I have to thank him and the owners. Everything was delicious, from appetizer to dessert. The pasta meunière was truly delicious and plentiful. Thank you for everything...we'll definitely see you again.

A quaint and charming trattoria without too many frills, basic in decor but clean and welcoming. The cuisine is well-focused, homemade but well-prepared and made with quality ingredients. The appearance could be improved, but it's so homey that you feel a little at home and the flaws are barely noticeable.

Unfortunately, and with great regret as a long-time customer... I find the service getting worse and worse. This time, with even greater anticipation, I brought friends for lunch just today... 18 of them... who came specifically from a wonderful place... even for the food, Puglia!!! We'd noticed the restaurant had celiacs a week ago, and they didn't even provide us with bread for them!!! With the usual "bounce" of excuses: "maybe you didn't speak to me"...."I don't know who took your reservation"... etc. Not even a choice of meat, as indicated on the menu!!! Oh!! They even ran out of lemon for the roast!!! The conditions of the restrooms... which I don't even want to specify... as "I remember" that I was a customer for a long time... I'll just add that there was no toilet paper, wipes or tissues.

Simple, traditional cuisine in a rustic yet authentic setting. A must-try: la mugnaia. The ricotta ravioli with tomato sauce are also excellent.

I've been coming here with my family for years, and it's always a guaranteed success. The food is excellent and plentiful. The service is a blend of kindness, professionalism, and friendliness. This year, the Christmas decorations added that extra touch. See you next time!
