17/12/2024: I have returned, for the umpteenth time, to this restaurant and I must confirm with great pleasure what I have already written previously. The very pleasant atmosphere of the place and the cordial welcome of the two owner brothers prepare you for a lunch that will certainly be remembered for the quality of the dishes (all from the gastronomic tradition of Central Abruzzo but with a skilful mix of innovations by Tina and Marcella who work in the kitchen under the watchful eye of Mamma Lucia (a living monument of catering in the city of Sulmona). If we then add the type of room service carried out by Marco and Giacomo with their collaborator Emilio, absolutely flawless due to the consolidated precision and courtesy, we understand why eating in the Ristorante da Gino is always a very pleasant experience and why the restaurant is a sure point of reference in the gastronomic panorama of the city of Sulmona.

06/12/2024: Family-run place where professionalism, competence, friendliness and friendliness in the service are included in the price and where the customer feels pampered. When I'm in Sulmona it's an obligatory "stop": it's always nice to go back!!! The cuisine is excellent, it's a shame it's closed in the evening for dinner. Better to book.

21/12/2024: We ate very well, the service knows how to put you at ease and advise you. Generous portions and good food. We took a mixed appetizer from Camilla, a gnocchi with pistachios and a pasta and potatoes with provola. A mixed grill with side dishes and desserts. The price is in line with what we got, not cheap but fair. Advised.

31/08/2024: Abbiamo scelto questa pizzeria perché offriva l' alternativa senza glutine e tutto sommato le pizze hanno soddisfatto il nostro palato, tranne l' attesa, che è durata un' ora, nonostante il mio sollecito dato che mio figlio autistico non le ama tanto.

05/01/2025: We were passing through Sulmona and stopped to eat following TripAdvisor's advice... We liked everything: the atmosphere, the decor, the quick service, the kind managers and the tasty food. The bill was also adjusted. We recommend it: we will definitely be back!

11/12/2024: I was here with my girlfriend a few weeks ago. We were in Sulmona for a tour and I was looking for an authentic, informal place where you could eat well. Many choices of pasta (the most popular is the carbonara). We opted for wild boar ragù (ni) and artichokes and sausage (super). Generous portions and possibility to choose type of pasta, fresh or dry. I also had a hamburger (honestly one of the best I've eaten in my life). I would stay here again!

17/11/2024: I had a solo lunch here in early November. The wine and the pasta (ragù di cinghiale) were good, but not as good as some other places. The restaurant is located on a side street and has some outdoor tables, which were very pleasant.

25/02/2024: Ristorante ubicato in una traversa della zona centrale di Sulmona, con ampia disponibilità di posti e discretamente arredato; personale cordiale e disponibile. Ci siamo recati intorno alle 21,30 in un giorno infrasettimanale ed abbiamo trovato facilmente disponibilità. Menù con diverse tipologie di primi e, comunque, tutti a prezzo unico (€ 15,00). Tra i secondi è stato ben gradito l'arrosto misto con porzione sufficiente per una persona ed al costo di € 25,00; nonostante il prezzo tendenzialmente alto lo consiglio tra le portate da assaggiare. Assegno 4 stelle per il rapporto qualità/prezzo e per la cortesia del personale.

09/12/2024: Tappa fissa ormai da anni durante le nostre trasferte in Abruzzo. Locale arredato con gusto, caldo, ottima selezione musicale, atmosfera conviviale ed una grandiosa ed eclettica selezione di vini naturali. Consigliati dai ragazzi, abbiamo optato questa volta, viste le temperature, per una polenta a dir poco strepitosa. Personale sempre cortese e prezzi in linea con il buon cibo ed il buon bere. A presto.

08/12/2024: Sono stata attirata dalle recensioni positive. Concordo che il Locale sarà pure “particolare” come mixage di arredamento: pub, bistrot, ristorante, libreria. Purtroppo ho trovato il menu banale e stringato. In finale poi … il prezzo veramente ma veramente esagerato.
