05/05/2026: I'm giving one star because zero isn't possible. I've been celiac for 12 years and I'm 25, so I know exactly how my body reacts to contamination. I went to this place for a graduation, trusting the gluten-free options offered. Unfortunately, immediately after eating the meat (accompanied by a suspicious sauce), I felt the classic, violent pain from contamination, which forced me to leave the party before dessert. The most serious problem, however, arose the following day. I politely called the place just to report the incident, so they could be more careful in the future. Instead of receiving an apology or even a modicum of professional understanding, I was verbally assaulted by the owner. I was arrogantly told that it was "impossible," going so far as to insinuate absurdities such as that I had brought gluten-containing food from home and eaten it on the sly, or that I had gorged on sweets (despite having left well before the cake due to my discomfort). I find it unacceptable that a restaurant owner, faced with a health complaint, would respond with personal insults and a total lack of humility. Even if the restaurant isn't certified, serving a celiac customer is a responsibility. I strongly advise against the restaurant for anyone with allergies or intolerances: the lack of food safety is matched only by the rudeness of the staff.

22/04/2026: After years of closure, Fictio is back. It's definitely no longer the venue managed by Max, where the live music lineup was top-notch, but I hope the new management of the cooperative can bring it back to its former glory. A youthful and relaxed management team can certainly bring this venue and the upper Chieti area back to a more vibrant social life after years of nothingness.

05/05/2026: We ate at this restaurant while passing through on our way back to Rome and were completely satisfied with the quality of the food, the friendly service, and the absolutely fair price. It's an authentic restaurant, just like the ones they used to be. The meat was delicious, the portions were generous, and they were very kind in offering us a delicious gentian and some sweets at the end. Highly recommended.

14/04/2026: Unfortunately, I have to select stars, but if I could, I'd give it a zero rating. My review is absolutely negative, especially regarding the service. I won't be setting foot there again! There's definitely something better nearby.

22/05/2026: We chose this place first upon arrival. We ordered Belgian waffles, croissants, and two real cappuccinos. It's the taste of a light, sweet breakfast with an Italian twist. Cost: €12 Highly recommended

10/05/2026: I went to this bar for a coffee. The staff were kind and the coffee was excellent. But perhaps it would have been appropriate to clean the crumb-covered table before serving the coffee, which we then consumed anyway.

26/04/2026: Aperitif dinner for 2 people, 24 euros for a microwaved first course, 4 slices of salami, 2 tablespoons of Russian salad from the supermarket, 4 slices of bread with oil from the day before (minimum), the waiter who has zero desire to work.

17/05/2026: Everything was perfect: excellent, authentic food, home-made flavors of yesteryear that are increasingly rare, and a friendly, helpful staff. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a revival, with vintage music and dancing. It feels like stepping back at least 30 years (in a good way) with a family-friendly, laid-back atmosphere.

29/12/2025: 5-star food, pizza chef Franco is a guarantee. I give the pizza a 10. 5-star service, impeccable waitresses, attentive to what was happening in the dining room and ready to answer any request very quickly. 5-star atmosphere, but that's nothing new because Ristofficina is a great place to be whether you're alone, as a couple, for a business dinner, or with children in tow. The price is very fair. After a day at work, we at ELETTRO wanted to eat something good, and in a welcoming place, we had a great time at Ristofficina. Thank you all. Highly recommended.

15/03/2026: Reading negative reviews, along with their reasons, well, it makes me smile wryly, not to say painfully... I've been there about three times, and none of the negative things they've written have ever occurred to me, nor to anyone else I've ever met. The pizza is nothing short of fabulous, the prices are average, the service is warm, and the place is tidy and clean. Eating your pizzas there is sublime, surrounded by an intimate and welcoming atmosphere... From my point of view, there's excellent work underneath (you can really feel the 72-hour leavening process), done by capable and competent people... top pizza chef.

31/05/2026: A lovely place inside Chieti's municipal park. Yesterday, we spent a pleasant evening with friends. The dinner was a great success (the carbonara was a great success, as were the gnocchi and tagliata), and the service was excellent; our waiter was very kind and helpful. A wide selection of gelato flavors! I also often go here for breakfast and highly recommend it! The prices are very fair.

02/11/2025: The wait was exhausting even though there were five tables having lunch, but a Chinese restaurant run by Indians made me understand why the four rice dishes we ordered, even though they had different seasonings, almost all tasted the same. The thing that bothered me most was that the first courses were salty, really salty, and when my wife pointed this out, laughing, he replied: "Madam, we do it to get people to drink more, and if you really don't like it, you can pay and leave," and so we did. I don't recommend it to anyone; it would have been much better to get a piadina at the place next door, terrible, terrible, and still terrible. But if you want to drink all afternoon or all night, I recommend it 😂😂😂

30/10/2025: We ordered grilled ravioli which seemed dry and reheated, edamame sushi was good, the fish didn't smell good and the soy noodles with shrimp were bland and had few vegetables and 4 pieces of shrimp.
