23/11/2024: I had wanted to try Indian cuisine for a long time, I chose this characteristic place, run by extremely kind and friendly staff, they make you feel at home. Excellent food, in my opinion, the curry dishes are better than the tandor ones which are a little too dry.
Their bread is delicious and the desserts are also goodies.
Small, intimate and quiet place for a Friday evening. Easy to find near the highway exit.
I will definitely return

30/01/2025: With bitterness I share tonight's experience... in addition to the fact that I remember the food from years ago being much better and the service better... the evening ended with a piece of plastic in my mouth (who knows how much else in my stomach) , magically popping out of the dessert, a kind of ice cream.. I take it to the cashier, with the bill.. The manager replies with a smile "oh yes, it can happen.."
He splits the bill to the cent and wishes us a good evening.
No comment.
The lack of care.
22/01/2025: Globally disappointing. Food was not special, and chicken korma's sauce was poor.
Garlic Naan was good.
Nothing bad to say about the service.

17/01/2025: We found ourselves in this place by chance, from the outside I wouldn't have given it much value, but from the moment you enter the impact is excellent, the place is clean and welcoming, the cuisine deserves high praise, everything is excellent, highly recommended, even the service and very fast and friendly, we will definitely be back to try other dishes
02/01/2025: Great place to eat, rich and inexpensive dishes! You can choose the dishes by degree of spiciness and there are several vegetable/vegan alternatives. Cozy place and good service with friendly and helpful waitresses! Recommended if you are passing through or if you want to eat something different without spending too much.

30/12/2024: I asked for « very spicy 🌶 » Chicken Vindalo but I got a normal one, it was not spicy. The Mango lassi 🥭 and the nann bread was sooo good 👌🏻👌🏻
The service was slow and not professional in term or organization and taking orders.
I was not really impressed by the service and the foods quality compared to other Indian restaurant I have been!
30/12/2024: During our journey from Geneva to La Spezia via Zurich and Milan, we hadn’t come across such an extraordinary dining experience until we found Punjabi Dhaba in La Spezia. The flavors here are simply unparalleled.
The *Chicken Karahi* was absolutely luscious—perfectly spiced and rich in taste. The *Naan* deserves a special mention as it was one of the best we've ever had—soft, fresh, and perfectly baked.
For anyone craving authentic Pakistani-Indian cuisine in Italy, Punjabi Dhaba is a must-visit. The food here truly stands out for its quality, taste, and authenticity. Highly recommended!

23/09/2023: Ho cenato in questo ristorante con la mia migliore amica e l'esperienza è stata davvero piacevole. Molto gentile e carina la proprietaria. Le porzioni erano giuste, abbiamo potuto assaggiare piatti diversi e siamo uscite di lì sazie e soddisfatte. Unica nota, mi aspettavo piatti più piccanti, probabilmente la cucina è stata "ingentilita" per incontrare una clientela poco avvezza ai sapori indiani, ma per due come noi, patite del piccante, non ce n'era necessità.
Torneremo sicuramente!
