12/11/2025: A little piece of India in the heart of beautiful Florence. Highly recommended for sampling traditional dishes. Special mention must be made of the staff; they were very attentive, recommending dishes and readily available to assist with any requests.
12/11/2025: From the moment we walked in, they took an interest in us. You just don't see the kind of attention we received from Kiran anymore; he's a master at his job. For starters, we had breadsticks with three sauces, followed by a Kingfisher, India's best-selling beer, and a delicious meal. If you're looking for tasty Indian food, this is the place.

04/04/2026: A small restaurant right on Corso Monte Cucco. Given its size, it's always best to book in advance.
The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
We ordered several dishes: from lentils in a sauce to typical Indian cheese; from vegetable meatballs to potatoes in a spicy sauce.
Everything was delicious :)

The place is simple, small, and clean, with an outdoor terrace.
The service is attentive and friendly.
Visited twice, excellent food.
Adequate portion size.
Much tastier and fresher than other places that may be more tastefully decorated but are less delicious.
Highly recommended.

03/04/2026: My parents and I have been regulars at Swagat since they still had a restaurant in Novi Ligure. The restaurant has been in Alessandria for years now, and the food has always been delicious and high-quality, and the owners and staff have always been wonderful, kind, and attentive.
The restaurant is spacious, clean, and you feel like you've been transported to India! They also organize themed evenings, with traditional dancing while you dine, and the experience is truly captivating!
We've traveled extensively, and on each trip we've tried an Indian restaurant, but none have won us over like Swagat. We always come back with pleasure and always leave with a smile! Thank you ❤️

13/12/2025: I visited this restaurant in early November, and I have to say it was a real revelation. One of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to, truly.
The food is authentic, flavorful, and carefully prepared, and the dish I tried was delicious.
The staff was also very friendly and helpful!
I will definitely return on my next trips to Turin.

04/04/2026: We went for the first time as a couple, yesterday we returned as a group of six and I must say that both dinners were very good. My delicate lamb was delicious, I also tried the other diners' dishes such as chicken masala and vegetarian meatballs. The sauces were also delicious. Finally, a ginger tea. We will be back as soon as possible. I also appreciated the tranquility of the environment and the opportunity to enjoy a dinner with friends in peace. See you soon 👌👌

14/03/2026: this restaurant offered a good variety of indian dishes & drinks. we ordered mango lassi, the mutton vindaloo, paneer tikka masala, chicken biryanani & cheese naan. everything was delicious but the paneer was especially tasty, creamy & a good amount of spice to it. we ordered chai to end the meal on a warm note. the interior of the restaurant was very clean, very cute decor & had plenty of space for different group sizes. highly recommend!

15/03/2026: A very nice, well-maintained restaurant, but crowded and noisy. The food is far from authentic Indian cuisine; the dishes are bland, and the curry is barely noticeable. Perfect for those who don't want a full-blown Indian dinner, just a light touch of curry. Not cheap.

Especially for the quiet atmosphere, not as noisy as other restaurants. The dishes are aligned with typical traditional Indian specialties and, given the wide selection, cater to all tastes; I even found a couple of recipes I hadn't yet discovered.
I'll definitely be back, even though it's a bit out of the way, to share it with friends.
23/09/2025: A refined and intimate atmosphere, excellent service. Among the sauces served at the table, I didn't like the spicy one, even though I really enjoy those types of sauces. The portions are small, but the food is good. About €35 per person, not a huge meal. Prices are perhaps a bit high. Still, it's a good restaurant for a different kind of ethnic cuisine. The semini after the meal and the aged rum are good.
