02/09/2025: Excellent Indian restaurant just steps from the Olympic walkway. The place is small, so reservations are recommended; the owners are very friendly and happy to offer recommendations. We opted for two full menus, as we're not very familiar with individual dishes: we'll try them on a second go. The tandoori chicken was excellent.

31/08/2025: Celiac friends, this Indian restaurant is for us. Usually celiac disease goes hand in hand with danger, "gluten-free" is the phrase that scares restaurateurs. But here it is truly a marvel, super trained, kind, helpful staff. Dishes of excellent quality and quantity. Thank you so much for the lovely evening, my first Indian since I was forced to live gluten free!

The manager was very sweet and personally comes to every table The Matri and the fruit mocktail they gave us complimentary was also really good We ordered: 1. Dal tadka 2. Jeera rice 3. Lachha paratha 4. Garlic naan 5. Karahi paneer 6. Paneer tikka masala 7. Masala lemon soda

06/10/2025: This is the best restaurant we went to during our stay in Florence! And we weren't even planning on eating Indian food... I definitely recommend it! The staff is very friendly and the food is quality.

05/10/2025: The restaurant is delicious and the dishes are delivered to you hot and fresh We ordered the vegetable biryani, which was delicious...and the butter chicken (butter chicken) was delicious, but not wow. A sweet vegetable samosa that was crunchy, but felt a little chewy and seasoned with salt, and it came out fine. And naan bread is taayem They offer the same hospitality as Indian restaurants, biscuit bread with yogurt, pickles and tamarind 👍🏻👍🏻

26/09/2025: I honestly was never into Indian food before, but New Punjab totally changed that. The food was insanely good — full of flavor and just so delicious that it’s now one of my favorite spots to eat. Singh, the manager, was super friendly and made us feel really welcome, and the servers were great and on top of everything. Can’t recommend this place enough…good thing it’s only a walk away cause my wife and I are definitely coming back!

20/09/2025: Our first experience at an Indian restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was phenomenal and plentiful, so you should consider what you're eating before rushing to order. The prices were fair and consistent with the quality and portions. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

24/09/2025: The quality of the evening was already evident from the aromas that greeted us. The welcome and service were truly excellent, with the smiles and helpfulness of the waiters. I found all the dishes served to be delicious: garlic naan, samosas, palak, paneer, lassi, and ras malai (dessert). Man, the cardamom is so good! I'll definitely be back.

20/09/2025: It was our first time at this Indian restaurant, and the experience was truly positive! There were four of us—two couples—and we were all very satisfied. We started with a mix of appetizers, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, which were truly delicious. I ordered the chicken curry with traditional rice and traditional bread: everything was delicious, rich in flavor, and well-balanced. The service was excellent: the owner was extremely kind, attentive, and welcoming. We had our dog with us, and she kindly provided a bowl of water for him. We recommend it to anyone who loves Indian cuisine and friendly staff!

06/09/2025: This Indian restaurant in Pigneto was a real discovery. We live in the area and saw it had recently opened. It's a charming and elegantly decorated restaurant, with two dining rooms. The food is excellent, with generous portions and absolutely reasonable prices. The owner is incredibly kind and attentive, even offering us a cardamom liqueur. If you love Indian cuisine, this is a highly recommended restaurant.

12/08/2025: We ordered takeout and it was a wonderful discovery. We'll be going in person as soon as we can. The menu includes a vegan one, and you can even choose how spicy you want your dishes. Excellent value.

16/09/2025: Group of four people from UK. Lovely Friday evening spent at Curcuma. We all agreed that the food was excellent and even though it was made for Italian taste, there was sufficient spice to satisfy British taste (this being our national dish). Family owned, lovely people. Service excellent.

15/09/2025: The food and hospitality at Curcuma were top quality. I tried Indian cuisine in different countries and I can say the food I tried here was very good. Nice small appetizers from the house. The taste of biryani and the butter chicken was flavored and very good. They were nice and generous when asking for extra pickles. Masala chai was good tea that reminded me of the tea I had originally in my trip to India. Overall very good experience with food and nice location, nice and friendly staff.

01/10/2025: Just an update on previous review: they are still closed!

18/09/2025: Giving one star coz we didn't get to eat anything!!! How difficult is it to update on Google that its closed for business. We read reviews online, planned especially for this restaurant as we were staying far..but when we reach and saw it closed and a note on the door that it was closed for vacation. Very disappointing!!! Pl be tech savvy and post it online if you are going to be closed.

09/09/2025: Mutton Peshawar was rich and flavorful! The cream, curd, dry fruits, and cashew powder created a luxurious gravy. The mutton was tender and the sauce had a beautiful nutty sweetness. Royal Mughlai flavors executed perfectly.
