Nishiki Sushi Restaurant

02/06/2026: I had dinner at this restaurant with my girlfriend after a while. Upon my arrival, we were greeted by a new manager, Davide, who was kind and courteous.
After a long wait for our order, our dishes arrived, and I must say that the quality of the raw ham is evident, and I believe it to be the best in the Parabita area and the surrounding area.
The rolls are also very carefully presented and all excellent. The tuna tataki and the raw ham, whether sashimi or tartare, are top-notch. I think the hot dishes need some work. They're not very flavorful and a bit bland.
I'm not giving it 5 stars because I believe there are some flaws that I hope will be seen as constructive criticism, as small things can lead to people opting for other restaurants.
1. The wait. I don't think it's appropriate to wait 25 minutes to order and almost 20 minutes to pay. I think the manager should be more present and attentive, especially regarding these issues.
2- The quantities of raw fish. Compared to the previous management, I don't think it makes sense to order a tuna or salmon tartare and find a small sample of it in a bowl.
I basically have to order three tartares to eat almost one. And consider that with raw fish, you only have three possible orders: tartare, sashimi, and gunkan. Yes, the latter are considered raw here. In my opinion, these are questionable choices that need to be reconsidered, especially since the tartares are truly small samples.
I hope that if you were to order a takeaway tartare, the quantity wouldn't be the same as the one served at the table. Otherwise, it would somehow discriminate against those who sit down.
Otherwise, I recommend it, and I repeat, I hope it's seen as constructive criticism.
Kudos to the Gentile staff who managed the dining room perfectly.

11/04/2026: I recently visited this sushi restaurant and the overall experience was truly positive. The food deserves a solid 4/5: the fish was fresh and beautifully presented, with a good variety of dishes on the menu. Some of the dishes were truly excellent, although there's still room for improvement to reach absolute excellence.
The service, however, was impeccable (5/5). The staff was friendly, attentive, and always available, without ever being intrusive. Wait times were short, and everything was handled with great professionalism.
The ambiance is another strong point (5/5): a refined, elegant, and relaxing place, perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. The atmosphere truly contributes to a pleasant experience.
In conclusion, a restaurant I definitely recommend, especially for those looking for quality, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. 🍣

06/02/2026: Excellent restaurant in the heart of Corigliano d'Otranto. The all-you-can-eat menu is excellent, with excellent value and dishes that are both beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. The staff is attentive to detail, friendly, and very professional. We had a wonderful, relaxing evening with friends. I will definitely be back.

11/07/2026: We were at this restaurant on July 11, 2026. What can I say? Everything was delicious, from the first course to the main course and dessert. A true delight. Not to mention the owners and the staff who prepare the various dishes. They are truly delightful and professional, and what's more, they're always present and smiling. You're free to disbelieve this review, but it's all true. It will be a wonderful memory, and we hope to return next year.

I visited this à la carte sushi restaurant and was speechless: every dish was exceptional, the portions were generous, and the
food was prepared with the freshest ingredients and of truly extraordinary quality.
But what made this evening truly special was the service. The staff was impeccable: kind, smiling, and always attentive to every detail. Special thanks go to the owner, a rare kind person. I requested so many special requests and we were treated wonderfully, with a professionalism and attention I'd never experienced elsewhere.
It's rare to feel so pampered and welcomed. My sincere compliments to the entire staff for the passion and love you put into your work. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.

28/03/2026: The service and atmosphere were like a 1990s neighborhood pizzeria. After more than a quarter of an hour, we were still waiting for a table; after another twenty minutes, we were still waiting to order, and after 45 minutes, we still hadn't received water. The wait for the food was also incredibly long. Two of the staff were friendly, but their organizational skills were seriously flawed. The acoustics weren't suitable for this type of restaurant, but more suited to a pizzeria. Three-star food, but the prices were five-star superior. My companions had been there before and reported a significant overall deterioration. Total disappointment!

29/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante a cena con tutta la famiglia. È stata una meravigliosa scoperta. I camerieri gentilissimi e simpatici ci hanno accolti con limonata fresca. Dopo un gustoso amuse bouche, abbiamo gustato diversi piatti a base di pesce tutti abbondanti e ricercati. Ci ha sorpreso la quantità di pesce fresco presente in tutte le portate. Dall' antipasto al dolce è stata un' esperienza culinaria memorabile.
25/07/2025: Ieri, io e mia moglie, siamo andati a cenare, in codesto rinomato ristorante. Abbiamo ordinato due fritture Senza spine, 19,00 euro cadauno due contorni, uno di patate e l'altro misto di broccoli carciofi carote ecc. Un'acqua minerale naturale e un calice di vino rosato. Le fritture 19,00 euro cadauno, nella norma, senza infamia e Senza lode, il vino non particolare 7,00 un calice, acqua panna 3,00. Coperto 6,00. I contorni, rifiutati in quanto non mangiabili, pertanto la signora alla cassa , ha avuto l'onestà di non conteggiarli. Costo finale 54,00. Delusione, in base alle recensioni, ci saremmo aspettati altro. Peccato,forse era una serata storta, oppure ognuno ha il proprio livello.

28/09/2024: Pegamos um voo mais conexão! A vinda foi uma surpresa a Galatina. Nosso hotel em Lecce cancelou a reserva e achamos aqui.
Depois de 10 horas de voo mais conexão e estrada… Tudo fechado das 13:00 às 16:00, ainda sábado… pedimos uma Pucchia ( maravilhosa - de mortadela , búfala e stracchiatela- 6,00 euros) , água grande 1 litro ( €2,50) , coca lata (€ 2,50) , 2 sucos de laranja e. 1 café (€1,50) . Eles cobram taxa de €1,00 para servir a mesa . A conta para 4 pessoas com tudo € 45,00 , sendo 22,50 por casal . Ótimo em tudo
