02/06/2025: I placed an order with glovo and received two of the four dishes ordered that were unpleasant to smell and taste.
Hotate cheese bacon and shrimp tempura are the two dishes that are the subject of this negative note.
After years and years of lunches and dinners, at this restaurant in Bitonto, after positive reviews, I feel it is my duty to write about this negative experience.

12/07/2024: After some time I feel like reviewing this place, once my favorite. For the first few years it was a real pleasure to go to Kiama then after years you couldn't help but notice that something had changed the dishes were tasteless but the best part is now on my last occasion I find a tartare with a bad smell and from a terrible disgusting taste I communicate everything to a kind girl from the staff who I would recognize... I invite her to smell and give me explanations for the stench and the terrible taste that unfortunately I had to put up with... after more than 15 minutes since I don't receive a response within inside and I went to the owner asking for explanations and she confirmed what I had said by replying that given the hot temperatures it could be okay... I would like to start by pointing out that mine is meant to be a constructive criticism but still to be taken into consideration given the obvious situation and that I have I also have a business and that there are risks here...I ask for the bill as they didn't intend to go ahead given the ways. The bill will be deducted by €2. Without words ever again I highly recommend something else.

23/06/2025: I think it's the best sushi in the area. There's a great variety of dishes, especially uramaki, all delicious. I recommend trying the mango hosomaki! They're super good :P

18/06/2025: I found a place very well cared for in every detail not to mention the excellent sushi. Everything is taken care of in every detail. We were welcomed by the owner on Saturday for lunch, my husband and my daughter. Compliments to everyone. We will gladly see each other again.
25/05/2025: I was a regular at this all you can eat Japanese restaurant years ago and I have to say it was truly the best. However, last night I was sorely disappointed. The quality of the food has drastically deteriorated and the menu list has been drastically reduced. Many of the dishes I liked and was used to finding were no longer available.
The price, however, remains high and in fact it seems that it is no longer justified by the quality of the service and food. The dishes I tried were mediocre, without any flavor or care in the preparation. The sushi was cold and stale, the tempura was greasy and heavy.
I am truly disappointed with this experience and I do not think I will return to this restaurant. If you are not able to maintain the quality and variety of the menu that made this place famous, then you no longer deserve the prices you ask for. *Not recommended*. Too bad, because it was once a truly special place.

21/06/2025: Very good fusion food. A wide variety of wines and cocktails are on the menu. The service was very poor, slow, and overwhelmed. For the price they charge, it should be excellent. We were served by three or four different waiters, including the manager, who was the only bilingual person.
They brought our plates out as soon as we finished the last bite, as if they were in a hurry. And as soon as we finished dinner, they immediately offered dessert, giving us no time to digest. It leaves a feeling of a fast food restaurant when you're going to spend a relaxing evening enjoying good food and drinks. And then when we asked for the bill, the opposite happened. They took so long to come (we flagged down every waiter who saw us) that we had to get up and go straight to the register. It's a shame because the food is very good, but the experience is diminished when it's not complete.
19/06/2025: The staff is always kind and friendly. We went as 2 people and we relied on the dining room manager to choose the dishes. All the dishes ordered are explained. A pleasure to return. Highly recommended

20/07/2024: It's a shame that something that worked well has worsened.
The restaurant and the service were always great. Now, however, during summer season it has been decided to move the restaurant to the beach, which is a great downgrade.
We had called at lunchtime to reserve a table for evening the same day, but when we arrived at the beach restaurant the reservation was not found, so we stood there for 15 minutes until we were finally assigned a table. When we were seated, it took another 20 minutes until we were finally given a menu and asked if we wanted something to drink. Then we ordered 2 plates of sushi, one person got their plate and the other 2 had to wait another 20 minutes and ask where the second plate was. When the plate finally arrived, there were also the wrong sushi on the plate. The sushi rice was also still warm. No one asked about the drinks, the whole staff just walked back and forth confused the whole time. You can't call that service. Unfortunately, the whole thing seems improvised and just awful.

15/02/2025: Premetto che ci sono stato a San Valentino, in ogni caso prodotti di qualità pari a quella di un AYCE di medio livello, considerando che per due persone ho speso 155 euro, non ci siamo assolutamente.
La cosa peggiore è stato dover aspettare inizialmente 45 minuti per vedere arrivare qualche piatto al tavolo, e poi 15-20 minuti per ogni piatto.
Per la prima volta in vita mia mi sono trovato a stoppare un ordinazione a un ristorante giapponese non perché sazi ma perché arrivate 00.15 ce ne volevamo andare.
Non ci tornerò più

06/06/2025: we were attracted by the reasonable price (actually in line with other more prestigious restaurants since there is a cover charge) good service, the waiter very kind, unfortunately the dishes were not good at all, the rice was too full of vinegar, the tuna was badly cut and in each piece there were nerves, forcing us to swallow the whole piece. it was all very mediocre
