Precisely due to the limited number of places, it is always advisable to book, even if it is usually not crowded at lunch. Balanced variety of menu choices, with the right and affordable quality/price, also considering the Combo Lunch option. Tried it for lunch and we had a great time (me, my sister and my mother), we tasted different dishes and one was better than the other. Also worth trying for dinner.

31/01/2025: From social media everything is so perfect. Very high expectations, but normal dishes with almost zero presentation. Considering the high costs of each individual course, they are expected to also have a visual impact and a more refined presentation, as well as gratifying the palate. Furthermore, when ordering the prawn carpaccio we found 2 insects inside, which according to them, came from the sprouts present to "embellish" the dish. They immediately prepared again but The cost of this course was not even written off. The only positive note was the good lobster linguine. Experienced, as I was overwhelmed by the curiosity to discover given the so much publicity on social media, but I wouldn't go back.

25/01/2025: beautiful place beautiful location.. but as the first courses were better I took a package of lobster and I have to tell the truth the flavor wasn't there so I had to review this thing as starters which I got were good.. to review a bit of variety choice of desserts but better the prices too high prices..

22/02/2025: We had lunch at UMĀMI with my girlfriend. She wanted to please me by testing a high-end sushi address with me. The restaurant is very charming, very quiet, very cozy. I was charmed by the decor. The server was great, very attentive, very professional, very dynamic. We opted for the 40 pieces of surprise sushi made and chosen by the chef. We were amazed by the choice of sushi made by the chef. Our large plate of sushi arrived, very very pretty plate full of sushi with lots of flavors and colors. We already had lots of stars in our eyes. There were quite a few sushi that we would never have thought to choose, we were pleasantly surprised. We really liked the sushi, some more than others. The sushi is super pretty, well made, impressive quality. The quality of the raw salmon and tuna is excellent, thick slices full of flavor! They melt in the mouth. The sea bream sushi is delicious. All the sushi are elaborate, full of flavors in the mouth, a mixture of ingredients bringing a beautiful harmony. We are delighted as much by the visual as by the taste. However, I would like to point out that the prices are very high although the quality is there. It nevertheless remains a very nice culinary experience, we really enjoyed lunch at UMĀMI. UMĀMI is undoubtedly one of the best sushi places I have tried anywhere in the world.

21/12/2024: This evening I went to umami with my girlfriend, a restaurant where I had already been at the end of August and found myself enjoying it. The restaurant is in Corso Trieste, in the city centre, well furnished, small, welcoming, friendly staff and an elegant atmosphere. We ordered two glasses of chardonnay (very good), a trio of tartare, a 20-piece set and two Nutella cheesecakes. Everything was truly perfect, good wine, exceptional sashimi, let's not talk about sushi, very fresh tartare and also very good dessert unlike many sushi restaurants. The sore point was the service, in the sense that the staff was helpful and kind but the times were biblical (and I'm talking about our case because I saw that tables next to ours were handled very quickly). We arrived at 9pm and the trio of tartare arrived exactly 50 minutes after ordering. To have the sushi we waited another 35 minutes and by the time we ate the dessert it was 11pm. Clearly spending two hours in this restaurant is nothing but a pleasure but one can well understand that waiting so long between one dish and another is not it is very pleasant. In any case, I don't feel like giving less than 5 stars because I'm sure that this thing only happened with us and only tonight, and since we really had a great time, I don't feel like penalizing a restaurant that truly deserves it. If you are looking for à la carte sushi in Caserta and its province, I wouldn't think twice about booking here (and I recommend you book because it's very popular). I hope to return soon.

10/02/2025: Excellent sushi, freshness and quality of food, Japanese chef, owner who shows great knowledge of Japanese culture. Negative aspects: cramped room with dim light, lack of privacy, presumptuous attitude of the restaurateur: one is almost ashamed to make ordinary requests on condiments (which would be normal in medium-level restaurants), asking for extra wasabi or ginger seemed like an "outrage to the majesty of the restaurateur".... :)). The price was exaggerated due to the modesty of the service offered (120 Euros for 3 dishes without wines), it would have been honest if the service had also been at the same level, considering the modest location. The expensive dinner, in fact, due to the small quantities of a starred restaurant and the exaggerated cost, had the effect of a good appetizer that unleashed a great appetite and left the stomach unsatisfied. To tell the truth, considering the excellent quality and freshness of the food offered, in contrast with the small number of seats and the lack of space, the manager's choice to keep prices high to cover management costs and also to select the socio-economic status of the patrons becomes understandable... with honest prices it would be impossible to manage and the queue outside the restaurant would reach the Arch of Trajan, also causing traffic problems!! In conclusion, if you are modest people who "speak as you eat" and want to satisfy not only the palate but also the "substance", it is better for you to go somewhere else.

It was enough to cancel when you arrived at the venue for the start of the service and you gave yourself the opportunity to organize differently.

23/02/2025: I went to Roji on Sunday for lunch, the place is taken care of down to the smallest details, I like the combination of the materials used. The waiting times were slightly long, but despite this, first applause goes to the staff, who were prepared and affable. I ordered the Tunateca Roji tasting, albeit with some variations that made it gluten free (the gf bread which is lightly bruschettated before being served is excellent) the tuna had a very peculiar flavour, strong and delicate at the same time, I personally appreciated it a lot. Thoughtful dishes, beautiful to look at and good to eat! I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
