A pleasant evening, especially for my first experience with flavors and aromas unlike the traditional cuisine most of us are accustomed to. I've never had the opportunity to try Japanese food or cuisine. We chose and tasted several dishes, which were beautifully served, both for their aesthetic appeal, but also for the beautiful colors and choice of plating. Personally, given my lack of experience in this world and finding myself faced with a menu that was completely new to me in terms of flavors and tastes, I found the cooked rolls more palatable than the raw ones. We also tried the sake bao, salmon gunkan, which I found delicious, and the caramelized shrimp with seaweed, which were very flavorful. Overall, a wonderful, positive experience that I will definitely repeat. Regarding service, we were welcomed and advised by a very kind lady who handled orders in the dining room. We enjoyed a good red wine, new, which arrived that day, a pleasant pairing with a fish menu. The cost per person was real and fair for what was ordered and the workmanship behind it.

We went on Valentine's Day and even though we booked a table and time, we had to wait 15 minutes. We got the tasting menu and everything was delicious. We'll be back again!

It's now a regular stop when I return home (I live up north). The staff is very professional and attentive to customer needs. Always a fantastic experience! Excellent quality sushi, with the freshest ingredients and meticulously crafted pairings. Every dish was beautiful to look at and even better to taste. The rice was perfect, the fish flavorful and carefully cut. Without a doubt, one of the best sushi I've ever had. The gunkan are an explosion of flavor! Once you try Himiko, you'll never go back. Congratulations to everyone!!

Nice food, and curtius staff, the little drop of prosecco and edamame entrée was a nice touch, but ..the boiled rice which came with our mains was dry, not what is normal for Japanese fare, in addition they forgot my husbands request for a second drink and they didn't have any jasmine or simple green tea which would have been nice. Finally we were left waiting for his final meal after the rest of us had finished and had our plates cleared, and I would say for a Tuesday night they really weren't that busy.
