I write these words with a hint of melancholy, after returning to what for me, since time immemorial, has been not just a restaurant, but a true refuge. I've been coming to Rucola since I was a boy; it saw me become a man, a husband, and a father. It's where I've celebrated the most important milestones in my family, from my children's first communion, with the certainty that we would be welcomed not as customers, but as longtime friends. Yesterday, sadly, I strongly felt the absence of what made this place special: Biagio's warm and ever-present welcome. The memories of Maurizio's Inter Milan that colored the shelves. That historic cuisine, made of unchanging flavors that tasted of home and security. Food is important, but the owners' smile was the secret ingredient that completed every dish. Entering La Rucola meant disconnecting from everything and feeling protected by a management team that put their heart and soul into it. ​I want to send a heartfelt greeting to all the people who have shaped the history of this restaurant and to all the customers who, like me, shared a part of their journey at those tables. 30/03/2026: Eating here is always a mystical experience. Maybe it's the heavenly plum sauce, maybe it's the cricket on TV, maybe the gluttonous pakora I made (and not just the pakora, the eggplant soup is also devastating), or maybe it's the sum of its parts, but few places have made me feel as comfortable as this place. PS: "Fast Food" is just a name; it's anything but fast, but that's how it should be. You have to know how to wait and value the food. If you wanted to gorge on cold fries at 3 a.m., you could have gone to any McDonald's. Here, fried food and sauces are a serious matter.

03/03/2026: I always order through Just Eat. The portions are very generous and the food is excellent. I've been eating traditional Indian food practically forever, and I can only say great things about it. The staff is friendly and always on time. I recommend it!
