04/08/2026: Friendly staff, very welcoming atmosphere. The lamb chops were very good, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We weren't as thrilled with the first courses, but they were still good. They were also friendly on the phone when we called to make a reservation.

08/07/2026: Excellent traditional Friulian dishes, especially the ciarsons. Very friendly table service.

24/05/2026: Management change. Sunday, pre-lunch aperitif, moderately crowded: the table we're occupying is being vacated by guests who haven't been served. We wait 20 minutes for a coffee, a ginger ale, and four coffee blends... a bit too long, I'd say. The aperitif was good, but I'd pay more attention to the service. We're still confident 💪🏻😃

01/05/2026: They brought us an extra ginger ale, and after pointing it out, I even had to pay for it. And you can't charge 24 euros for four Aperol spritzes and bring a measly bowl of crisps! Terrible experience!

04/08/2026: Excellent food, spaghetti vongole and ragu perfect. We will come again, and those who write that you have to wait for food, always wait for good food :)

02/08/2026: We ate the worst spaghetti of our lives here; Grandma's sauce tasted exactly like an opened can of corned beef with a little oil added. They also automatically bring you bread, for which you then have to pay an extra 4 euros... tough luck... The toilets are dirty and some are broken... I've never seen such a filthy mirror in a restaurant before...

09/07/2026: A typical trattoria. The owner is friendly and helpful. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Parking is available. We were very satisfied.

14/08/2026: Beautiful location, but disappointing experience The location of the Chiringuito, within the Altafiumara Resort, is undoubtedly spectacular: the view of the Strait is marvelous, especially at sunset, and the setting has all the makings of a truly special experience. Unfortunately, however, our experience was very disappointing, especially considering the quality of the facility and the expectations that such a location inevitably raises. We were assigned a table under a pergola where, despite the good ventilation outside, there was virtually no air. The menu also left us perplexed: limited choices, and of those available, very few were truly inviting or interesting. But the biggest disappointment was the service. From a restaurant located within a resort of this caliber, one would expect attention, care, and precision. Instead, we often felt neglected: tables were dirty and not promptly cleared, dishes from previous courses remained on the table while the next ones arrived, and wait times were decidedly excessive. Unfortunately, the food didn't win us over either. The dishes we tried were overall rather mediocre, with the exception of one first course, the only one we truly enjoyed, a photo of which I've attached. It's a real shame, because the place is beautiful and has all the potential to offer a top-notch experience. Precisely for this reason, however, one would expect the service, organization, and cuisine to be up to par with the location. Location 5/5. The overall experience, unfortunately, fell far short of expectations.

12/08/2026: The location has a beautiful view. Unfortunately, when we booked, we'd specified a sea view, but instead they seated us at the furthest tables. After a 40-minute wait, they took our food order, and 20 minutes later, our wine order. The staff was nonexistent and rude. We ordered two glasses of wine (more of a tasting than a real glass) and two unremarkable first courses, for a total of €82.
