02/06/2026: Lunch on June 2nd at the Santuario restaurant on Mount Lussari with my wife, in a truly unique setting. Ristorante Al Santuario offers a charming atmosphere, made even more special by the view and the atmosphere of the village. We appreciated the quality of the dishes, carefully prepared and respecting local traditions. The service was friendly and attentive, contributing to a pleasant experience. The selection of typical dishes and local specialties was also good. The 4 stars are due to a few small details that could be improved regarding service times on a particularly busy day, but overall the rating remains decidedly positive. A place I recommend to those visiting Mount Lussari and looking for a gastronomic break in an authentic and panoramic setting.

28/03/2026: Terrible, terrible, terrible, it couldn't be worse. Non-existent service: you sit down, the waiter looks at you, walks away, and then doesn't come back for your order. You ask him if he could please clean the table and bring you the menu, he looks at you and disappears... It's true that Tarvisio always has a lot of customers, but after so many years of accepting this kind of service because there was no alternative, I'm now turning to new businesses that are much better in every respect. 12/10/2025: We sat down for lunch with a group of friends. The menu included soup (Tortellini soup), main course (Boletus tagliatelle), dessert (Profiterol - chocolate, vanilla and pistachio). Local "craft beer" was the thirst quencher. Clean, nice environment with delicious food. We had to wait for a table because we came in from the street. We didn't have to wait long. Recommended category and place!

20/05/2026: Recently, on our way back from a weekend in Italy, we wanted to soak up some Italian atmosphere and enjoy a good meal... Upon arriving, we (5 adults, 3 children) were ushered to a table inside where the ambiance seemed stuck in decades ago. The waitress, who seemed rather stressed, brought menus and then quickly returned to take our order. Since it wasn't complete, she stopped. We eventually ordered. The food arrived unevenly, with some people watching the others. The salads we ordered were mass-produced, carelessly thrown into a bowl. No bread... we weren't even asked about it. The pizza... well... edible. Finally, we went to the counter ourselves to pay. A grumpy guy made a scene because we were paying separately. As the last person to pay, I got a snide remark for not saying "the rest"... So, the visit was a complete disaster in every respect! Never again! ' ... If you don't feel like it, you should just leave it alone...

15/12/2025: Excellent location not far from the Lussari cable car. The property is a few years old but appears well-maintained and well-maintained. It has about fifty rooms and friendly staff. We didn't stay or eat there, but I hope to try the food soon, so an update will follow.

22/03/2026: It’s amazing restaurant! If you want to feel Italy you have yo visit this restaurant. Italy it’s not about service, it’s about food and people. With pleasure coming here from Villach with my wife one time a month!

27/01/2026: I visited this restaurant on Sunday, during a heavy snowfall, and I must say it was a delightful discovery. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff is kind, professional, and has that touch of friendliness that makes you feel like a longtime customer. The appetizer of bread and lard was truly excellent. I chose the trio of ravioli: delicate, flavorful, and surprisingly filling. To finish, I enjoyed a huge slice of Sachertorte, delicious and well-made. We paired our meal with a simple yet pleasant local table wine. At the end of the meal, we were offered a truly delicious hay grappa, a gesture that confirms the authenticity of the place. We spent about 30 euros per person, a sum more than justified by the quality and overall experience. I will definitely be back. Thank you!
