25/09/2025: We, twowheeltours, stayed at Elliot Osteria e Dormire in Collina twice during a recent private cycling tour of Italy and Slovenia. We started and finished our 8 day tour there. Rooms are great, service is very professional, parking possible for vehicles and the MEALS (!!!) OMG, amazing. There is a reason the restaurant is so busy with locals, it is fantastic! We had lunches and dinners at the Osteria with plenty of choice so we could sample the whole menu. Thanks to the entire staff both in the accommodation and restaurant for a great (twice) experience. We will be back.

26/09/2025: Everything was delicious, compliments to the friendly and very kind staff.
24/09/2025: I went for an aperitivo, and since my friend and I were both on a diet, we were able to order a freshly squeezed juice, even though the place is more suited to aperitivo/beer/etc.
The waiters were friendly, and the place is very nice.
The total price for two juices was €7, which I thought was excellent!
I'll definitely be back.

27/03/2025: The best croissants in the area... good, hot and always available, excellent coffee and cappuccino too. Not like the other bars that at 9.30 tell you that there is only wholemeal with honey left! Always friendly staff!

12/10/2025: What a disaster. It's a simple farmhouse without any great pretensions, but it needs a little organization! The wait times are endless, the dishes are sad and small, and the prices are acceptable but not in line with the poor quality of the food and the setting. What a shame.
03/10/2025: Nice place, excellent food and the possibility to buy seasonal fruit and vegetables as well as wine.

24/07/2025: I arrived for lunch, and the place was full but not completely full. It took them a quarter of an hour to clear the table, ten minutes to order. My salad arrived immediately, and the silverware another 10 minutes later.
The baked potatoes were very disappointing.
Even for coffee, I went to get it at the counter after 10 minutes.
I can't say I had a bad meal, but the service was unacceptable.
18/06/2025: You eat well and it's a typical Friulian place and there are very few places like it left.

10/10/2025: On Thursdays, pizzas are made with Neapolitan-style dough, but honestly, the three of us didn't notice the difference, other than the slightly larger, not-at-all-soft crust. The spicy salami was a disappointment: nothing spicy and it tasted rancid... a disappointment. Prices are a bit high. Whoa!
30/05/2025: The service was super friendly and entertaining, chatty, and very friendly with tourists. Our pizzas were excellent and really affordable, too. We'd definitely be happy to come back.

10/07/2025: We ordered a MAXI pizza to take away. It was good, nothing to complain about, except that it was a bit small compared to the average maxi pizza you get elsewhere, and the price was a bit high. Half Margherita and half Capricciosa for a total of €19.50 seems a bit steep. The staff was kind and friendly.

15/02/2025: Siamo stati al Viandante tre mesi fa, uscito dal locale ero veramente soddisfatto! Ci sono ritornato oggi e devo dire che sono sempre più entusiasta!!! Cucina raffinata, ricca di gusto e porzioni abbondanti , il tutto molto condito con la gentilezza, la passione e la professionalità delle persone che vi lavorano.Abbiamo parlato con Pietro ( il cuoco) e ci spiegava la sua cucina e i suoi piatti, si percepisce la passione che ci mette nel suo lavoro unito da una capacità sopra la media, lo consiglio vivamente e sono sicuro che una volta provata la loro cucina ci ritornerete come faremo di nuovo noi!!💪🏻

26/05/2025: Abbiamo organizzato la cresima e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Ogni volta tutto è sempre perfetto, siamo il cibo che l' organizzazione, che il servizio.
Non penso ci sia un altro posto dove gli antipasti sono infiniti come qui e al tavolo passano sempre due volte.

28/01/2025: Il 25 gennaio abbiamo festeggiato il nostro matrimonio ed è stato tutto semplicemente perfetto, nonostante fosse pieno inverno! Il ristorante si è rivelato ideale anche per questa stagione: la tettoia esterna e i gazebo completamente coperti hanno permesso di godere al massimo degli spazi senza temere freddo o imprevisti. La sala superiore, ampia e luminosa, ci ha accolti con un’atmosfera calda e accogliente, perfetta per un ricevimento memorabile.
Il cibo? Una delizia! Ogni portata è stata curata nei minimi dettagli e ci ha fatto ricevere complimenti a non finire dagli invitati. I titolari sono stati eccezionali, sempre disponibili e attenti a ogni dettaglio, e i camerieri professionali e sorridenti.
L’organizzazione è stata impeccabile: tutto è filato liscio e noi ci siamo potuti godere il nostro giorno senza pensieri. Se cercate una location che sa come rendere magico anche un matrimonio invernale, questo posto è la scelta giusta!

04/05/2025: Diese Osteria ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Das Essen war sehr gut und die Besitzer sehr herzlich und freundlich. Sie erfüllen dir jeden Wunsch und sind noch dazu sehr großzügig.
