19/03/2024: A pleasant discovery. Large comfortable rooms and excellent finishes. Bathroom with a large shower and new and very clean toilets. We also had dinner enjoying simple but quality cuisine. They made us feel at home and the welcome was perfect. Their products are also good. If we need to pass through or stay in those parts we will definitely return. 15/08/2024: We (couple, 30 & 33 years old) were looking for an authentic Italian restaurant that was not primarily designed for tourism. The Pignate restaurant is just such a hidden highlight! Eat: The food, from starter to main course and dessert, was excellent overall, both in taste and quality. The seafood appetizer platter is very large, so you can share it. In addition to scallops, clams and prawns, there was typical Cozze in an incredibly tasty marinade and squid salad. The hostess recommended fish for the main course. This was fresh, very well prepared and beautifully presented. We were also given excellent advice when it came to dessert. “Meringata” didn’t mean anything to us, but it turned out to be the perfect ending in the form of an ice cream cake with meringue and nuts. It's worth a visit for the food alone and we'll definitely come back whenever we're in the area! Ambiance: The restaurant was decorated in a typically Italian style by Nonna - who has been entertaining guests at Pignate for over 50 years. It's cozy and you have a thousand things to look at: from pictures to a free-standing grill to slippers on the wall. The restaurant simply has history and it is incredibly nice to immerse yourself in it. Service: Excellent and absolutely deserves its five stars. The nonna of the house looked after us first-class, shared her recommendations with us and also a few words of wisdom on how to eat our fish in the original Italian way (luckily!). The Pignate is an insider tip for us. It is also a real oasis of peace and good food in Bibione & Lignano, which is inundated with tourists! Thank you for the wonderful evening, we would love to come back. P.s. Dogs are also welcome here! Another plus point from our side!

24/08/2024: Mediocre quality, small quantities, average price. But above all, terrible service, listless and sulky waitresses, they looked like they were at a funeral. And not very careful, they got the wrong table twice out of 3 courses. They took the menus to give them to another table, before we had ordered, and above all without asking. For us, a very rude gesture. Not recommended. We certainly won't be returning.

26/07/2024: Seit wir unser Schiff in Lignano liegen haben [2022], besuchen wir das Ippolito. Das Lokal ist absolut ansprechend. Die Küche vorzüglich und das gesamte Personal ausgesprochen kompetent, nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir und alle unsere Freunde freuen uns auf die nächsten Besuche. Sabrina, die Chefin, Dina, Roberto und alle anderen sind ein traumhaftes Team!

20/06/2024: Ich bin mehrmals pro Jahr in Aprilia Marittima. Mittlerweile gehen wir mind. einmal pro Urlaub dort essen, man kennt sich, das Essen ist sehr gut und preislich in Ordnung.

06/08/2024: First time we went to this pub, not knowing it existed in Trieste. Cozy place, very kind girls, we stopped at 5 in the afternoon to have a snack, we got a king sandwich, club sandwich type and it was huge. A nice round cutting board, with the classic 4 slices of cut toast, with raw tomato and pepper salad, covered with a cascade of delicious potato dippers, accompanied by a super spicy but excellent Mex sauce. Prices appropriate to the quantity, only beers that are a little expensive, artisanal but good. Advised

05/08/2024: You pay for the service, so points are deducted from the service itself. I'm expecting more than just throwing down two or three sheets of paper and giving some dishes for almost eight euros. The food can be described as very expensive. We were 2.5 people for almost 60 euros. That's quite remarkable. The food itself isn't bad. The desserts are also good.

20/06/2024: Restaurant with a trattoria feel! Friendly and fast service, very good cuisine, varied menu with meat and obviously fish. There are special dishes of the day outside the menu. Adequate prices and generous servings! Top mixed fried fish! The only sore point is getting out with the car and trying to go left, it's not forbidden but I strongly advise against it, go right and turn at the petrol station just ahead!
