19/10/2025: Arriving at Daur de Lune is always a pleasure, but finding the fireplace lit, warming the room with just the right amount of warmth while you dine... is simply perfect. A pampering experience that instantly makes you feel at home. The food is always excellent: fresh ingredients, carefully prepared dishes, and authentic flavors. I've never participated in the themed evenings, but always in the "normal" lunches and dinners, which have always been a guarantee. Appropriate portions, excellent quality, and fair prices—a rarity these days. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and meticulously maintained: you can sense the passion and love for hospitality. One of those places you'll gladly return to, and every time you leave with a smile. Highly recommended! But you absolutely must book in advance, because it's no secret that you really enjoy yourself here.

26/10/2025: A surprise on an autumn Sunday...everything was delicious and the restaurant's signature dishes were delicious. Pumpkin crepes.

07/12/2025: Just a few kilometers from Udine, we discovered an ancient trattoria hidden in the heart of Friuli. The historic trattoria "AL POSTIGLIONE" was founded in Campeglio in 1938. It is a well-maintained restaurant with ample parking, where we found tradition in the warm atmosphere of the fireplace that illuminates the space. The wide selection of dishes on the menu is based on traditional Friulian dishes to suit all tastes. We enjoyed an excellent grilled Florentine steak, carefully prepared by the young chef, and tasted the excellent local wine. The service is excellent; the young managers are always present but never intrusive. Definitely worth a try to savor the Friulian cuisine of yesteryear. Excellent value for money.

25/11/2025: Back after 4 years with new management and a few things have changed. It was cold outside, raining, booked a table near the fire a week ago and it was out. The window was open with 7 degrees outside and we had to close it and stay with jackets on because it was cold. With 10 people inside, waiting for the second course for more than half an hour is too much for me. Plus the blasting rap music in a historic rustic style place was really annoying. The meat was good, prosecco too. Tiramisu with ladyfingers that you couldn't break with force. Half a kilo of cream and two biscuits that looked like two stones. The bill is high but for what we ate it's fair.

09/12/2025: We ate well, with typical, home-style food. The atmosphere and style, however, are unchanged from 40 years ago...

09/11/2025: I honestly don't understand some of the unkind and negative comments (are they true?) I was lucky enough to stumble upon it by chance... and I felt at home, yes, because if you choose this place, it's because you choose to treat yourself like you're at home in exchange for a more than fair price. Authentic, quality food, courtesy, and service are there, even when someone doesn't deserve it. A good glass of wine and a wait that lasts as long as if you were waiting to eat at home, just enough time to chat. In the photo, you see an orzotto, which was truly delicious, but we had other dishes, and everything was top-notch. Thank you!
