12/08/2025: Traditional Italian food, very friendly service, my dogs were welcome too.
The food was exceptional and worth the experience; we'd be happy to come back. Also suitable for vegetarians.

I highly recommend this place, whether for accommodation, dining, or buying fresh, quality products including cured meats, vegetables, melons, eggs, their own wines, and more.
It has a small garden equipped for children.
31/08/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance at lunch and had a wonderful time. We were welcomed with kindness and courtesy.
The cuisine is traditional and rich in flavor.
I would gladly return.

04/09/2025: My wife and I took a short vacation in Friuli and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. It may seem vintage, but we were very happy with it: magnificent pool, spacious rooms, very kind staff, and the breakfast is plentiful and of exceptional quality. It definitely deserves further stays.
27/08/2025: Business dinner. Excellent location, quiet and traditional. Helpful staff. Excellent dinner and a good wine list.

Positive experience at Hotel Al Ponte!
I stayed for a business trip and was pleasantly surprised. Excellent value, clean and spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The pool surrounded by the greenery of the park is a real plus: perfect for relaxing after a busy day.
Breakfast served poolside—rich, varied, and in a truly pleasant setting.
A peaceful oasis just minutes from the center, ideal for both work and a rejuvenating break. I will definitely be back!

14/09/2025: Dinner with my husband. They advised us against ordering pizza because there was a long wait, so we opted for two Nicoise salads (egg, lettuce, tomato, olive pâté, prawns, mozzarella, tuna, and corn). It's €12 per portion. A bottle of mini fizz is €3... the exaggeration is the €2.50 cover charge for two (€5). It's truly exaggerated!!!!
I don't think I'll go there again.

28/08/2025: GOOD MORNING, I'd like to share this experience with you all.
As a tourist, I've tried many bars in many areas. I can say this bar was unique. The staff was courteous and always friendly, and the young man was always smiling, even though we came on a Sunday at 2:00 PM.
I think you deserve more than 5 stars, and a huge thank you!!!
24/08/2025: The sign says "Historic Place," but it's probably seen better days. Prices are exorbitant for what they offer. There are much better places in town. Dirty bathrooms.

28/08/2025: I've been frequenting the place for a year and can confirm that it's always a pleasure to stop by. I like to indulge in the seasonal changes, which show a lot of care, dedication, and selection, but it's the classics that really shine, and the cappuccino remains my favorite: the best I've ever tasted,
truly.
A small note to the staff, very kind, cheerful, and helpful: it's nice when you receive a smile along with the service 💌

11/06/2025: Ordered two margheritas today on my way back from the airport..I feel sorry for them but the pizza is almost inedible..I don't understand how some say that the pizza is good or even excellent..change the pizza chef and the ingredients..
10/06/2025: I was passing by and I took 2 slices of pizza... one of which was completely black underneath. They tasted of nothing, insipid. I knew it wasn't the best but not even that...

Gnocchi al gulash buonissimi e fatti in casa frivo da leccarsi i baffi
Prezzo giusto per l ambiente
Bagni all esterno del locale da ristrutturare sono dell ante guerra ma tutto sommato un ottima scoperta..

25/04/2025: Gradisca d'Isonzo, negli anni 80, era una delle tante località vicine al confine, sovraffollata di militari. Io ero uno di questi giovani e spesso, con i miei amici, andavo in questo locale, che mi sembra venisse definito "frasca". Ricordo che mangiavamo un tagliere di affettati misti e formaggi, con buon vino locale e pane squisito. A distanza di 40 anni sono ripassato da Gradisca, l'ho cercato e scavando nella memoria l'ho trovato. Praticamente un tuffo nel passato. Il locale mi è sembrato più o meno lo stesso, caldo ed accogliente, il tagliere di salumi misti, rigorosamente affettati a mano come allora, era squisito, formaggio pane e vino si sono confermati come me li ricordavo. I dolci molto buoni. Io ho preso uno strudel e mia figlia una palacinca. Sia io che la mia famiglia siamo usciti molto soddisfatti e sazi. Ci ritornerò appena possibile.

07/07/2025: unica pecca è che non essendo del posto non so se avrò l'occasione di tornare per degustare nuovamente la pizza più buona che io abbia mai provato negli ultimi anni ... veramente lodevole! Prezzi un pò sopra la media (almeno rapportati a quelli della mia zona di residenza) ma qualità degli ingredienti, bontà delle pietanze e gentilezza del personale top!
25/05/2025: Sulla pizza nulla da dire,fantastica,ma il servizio...avevamo prenotato, veniamo accompagnati al tavolo, ci accorgiamo che manca un bicchiere, lo chiediamo alla cameriera e quasi scocciata ce lo porta, ci portano dell'acqua frizzante invece che naturale, arrivano le pizze e li ci accorgiamo mancasse anche un coltello, scocciati ce lo portano (era un altro cameriere ,sembra il mood del locale), durante la cena due camerieri diversi hanno rovesciato il vassoio con le bevande, dulcis in fundo, dopo aver pagato ed essere usciti ci accorgiamo che i dolci ce li hanno fatti pagare più di quanto scritto sul menù (che abbiamo ricontrollato).
Peccato, onestamente non lo consiglierei vista l'esperienza.
