09/12/2024: Tra tanti Hotel che avevamo opzionato per la nostra vacanza a Trieste abbiamo scelto questo perché ci sembra una gestione piu’ familiare in modo da essere coccolati…. Ma ci siamo completamente sbagliati!!! Perché al nostro arrivo alla reception c’era un ragazzo che alla nostra richiesta di un piano alto ci ha dato una camera in mansarda , arrivati in camera c’erano i pinguini ( fuori stavano solo -4 gradi) siamo scesi a comunicarlo, si è avvicinato il figlio del proprietario dicendo che lui non poteva farci niente e se era andata in blocco qualcosa sicuramente se ne sarebbe parlato per l’indomani. Si e’ avvicinato il boss della situazione dicendo che era il proprietario , ci dice ma avete qualche problema?? Qui non si e’ mai lamentato nessuno!! Siete forse un po irrequieti?? Noi sbalorditi da questo atteggiamento Gli abbiamo risposto che andava tutto bene era solo che la camera era fredda. Ma la ciliegina sulla torta deve ancora arrivare …. Sul loro sito c’è scritto eccellente colazione 🤣 siamo scesi la mattina per fare colazione e abbiamo trovato yogurt scaduti e una colazione così misera che nemmeno da un hotel a 2 stelle. Ogni volta che facevamo una doccia si allagava il bagno ed eravamo costretti ad asciugare il pavimento. Una posto da dimenticare e direi a boss che dovrebbe abbassare un po’ la cresta 🐓

14/11/2024: I usually wait a few weeks before reviewing a place but this time I decided to share my experience while I'm still staying at the hotel. The room is spacious with a classic style and full of every comfort (including kettle and tea!), comfortable bed and impeccably clean room. Water pressure like at home and hot water arrives quickly without problems. There is also a large private car park on site. Friendly and helpful staff, absolutely delicious! I really love Italian places rich in foreign influences, I find that the people of these places are much more open and warm than those you meet in other regions and it is precisely this warm and welcoming atmosphere that I found at the Pahor hotel. The menu of their restaurant is full of enveloping proposals whose flavor warms your heart (it may be that the first cold weather has begun outside, but the pumpkin soup really regenerated me). The desserts are exceptional, the panna cotta and the pear both went well beyond my expectations, but also the pastry biscuits that I found at breakfast were a joy for a greedy person like me. In short, I have nothing but nice words for this business and its genuine staff, I'm really happy to have chosen you!

31/01/2025: Era da tempo che questo ristorante era nella mia personale lista dei "luoghi da visitare" e l' occasione è arrivata con una cena a tema "formaggi erborinati". La location è curata e intima, bene il servizio e la cura dei piatti, la ricerca delle materie prime e gli accostamenti, che però soffrono il gusto forte di certi tipi di formaggi, che vanno a sovrastare poi il tutto. Tornerei ad assaggiare altri piatti

26/12/2024: Pranzo di Natale. Ho apprezzato il menù interamente vegetale, cucinato con fantasia e con prodotti di ottima qualità. L'ambiente è accogliente, un bel mix tra moderno e tradizione. Il camino un tocco davvero "cozy"!
