11/11/2025: Beautiful place, superb food. Highly recommended!!!

10/11/2025: We're returning after years, and what a wonderful atmosphere we felt upon arrival. The friendliness, the excellent food, and the impeccable service. Our dinner was in the "Cagnacci room," surrounded by beautiful paintings, seated at a lovely table with a comfortable period sofa. Special mention goes to the wide selection of pastas, cheeses, and vegetarian side dishes, including the "giardiniera," the house's pickled vegetables, delicious for those of us who, even though we're from Romagna, don't eat meat. We had a truly wonderful time, and we'll be back soon.

16/10/2025: I visited this magnificent bistro during the Rimini tourism fair. During the fair, people were full of ideas about customer-centricity, often not put into practice (or poorly put into practice). At IL LAVATOIO, I found everything they talked about during those days: hospitality and authentic cuisine, simplicity, friendliness, professionalism, and EXCELLENT FOOD QUALITY (excellent ingredients and great preparation skill). In every dish, I found the warmth of home and authentic flavors. Unfortunately, I'm from Veneto and not geographically close enough to return often (a real shame), but when I do, it will definitely be my new go-to. Well done, congratulations!

11/11/2025: An experience never to be repeated again. The dishes are elaborate, yes, but with a mixture of unpresentable flavours, especially the much vaunted risotto. I am a chef with many years of experience and it is the first time I have written a review, but I assure you it was a negative experience.

18/11/2025: A real surprise when visiting Santarcangelo, a welcoming place with kind and courteous staff. They didn't just serve us, they "pampered" us. The food was truly excellent, top-quality. We'll definitely be back!

12/10/2025: We were greeted by the utmost courtesy and attentiveness of the staff and Mr. Mario. The ambiance is refined, the dishes meticulously presented, and there's a selection of unique appetizers, such as the tasting menu, which includes delicious appetizers and a bite of slow-cooked pancetta that was truly buttery. The gratin onion appetizer with porcini mushrooms and truffle was exquisite and delicate. The risotto with radicchio and walnuts was delicious. A place to relax and feel at ease, surrounded by friendliness, without sacrificing the sophistication typical of this wonderful village.

02/11/2025: Excellent atmosphere and food, too. Domenico was very kind and professional, but it's a shame about the bald cashier (or so-called owner, with his haughty attitude): rude and ignorant... he complained because we paid the Roman way, saying it's only done at a pizzeria... we paid a lot for the small portions. He also treated the waiters poorly. That's why I gave it 2 stars... without this arrogant and self-important individual, it would definitely deserve more. First and last time. Then, judging by his response to negative reviews, it's clear how vulnerable and not at all humble he is to criticism... he'd be better off changing jobs, decidedly unhuman and unfriendly. He defines himself. Gentlemen are born, not made, and that's definitely not the case with this guy.

28/10/2025: A historic restaurant in the center of Santarcangelo, featuring characteristic caves where their own cheeses and cured meats are aged. Elegant decor, attentive, very kind, and helpful staff. The dishes are truly delicious and impeccably presented. The ingredients used are truly excellent and expertly prepared, and the cheeses are truly amazing. The location and location are reflected in the prices.

10/11/2025: Just steps from the heart of Sant'Arcangelo lies this warm and welcoming trattoria where you're served quickly and courteously, and can enjoy simple yet flavorful dishes—a real treat for those who don't like elaborate fare. The portions are generous, and the quality of the ingredients is good. I have no complaints, and I'll definitely be back, but to give it five stars, I'd like to find a dessert that's less banal than the usual panna cotta and zuppa inglese...with the porcupine cake, they've already taken a first step in that direction.

20/10/2025: I couldn't help but give it 5 stars for the menu and the quality of the food. In particular, I had the best tagliolini with prosciutto and truffle ever, and I'm 66 years old. The service was excellent. I have some reservations about the bathrooms; they're a bit neglected, and the men's room doesn't close.

10/11/2025: We stopped for a simple aperitif and were more than satisfied. The staff were very friendly and the cocktails were well-mixed.

13/11/2025: After years, my partner and I decided to eat at this restaurant. I have no complaints about the quality of the food, but the service and portions leave much to be desired. A plate of cappelletti costs €16, and there must have been 16 cappelletti in there 😂😂😂😂 €1 per cappelletti. Help!!! How many stars? No more than 3. It goes without saying that we'll never go back, and I don't recommend it.

24/09/2025: We chose this place for a celebratory dinner and didn't regret it. The terrace is very cozy and atmospheric. The food was delicious. We had chicken shashlik with vegetables and shrimp with rice noodles. We were very pleased. There's a great wine selection. Highly recommended.

14/09/2025: It's always a treat to dine at Calycanto, with its ethnic dishes catering to every taste, from vegetarian to vegan, as well as fish and meat options. I love the local beers on offer, and the desserts... truly a feast for the eyes and the palate!

05/10/2025: A trattoria serving typical local specialties. Overlooking the Romagna coast, this is a lovely place where we went for our anniversary. Everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the main courses and the grilled meats. I'll definitely be back.

04/07/2025: We stopped for lunch (late) after a break in the cool of the park where this place is located. It was a real shame not to be able to return (we were passing through) because we ate very well. The vegetarian salad is a spectacle of very fresh and delicious vegetables, the piadinas are really well filled! Very kind staff, excellent prices.
